First off if I could give a negative star I would!!!!!!!! I walked in and ask where could I sit with a outlet, my friend needed to charge her phone... I HAD to ask for the table to get cleaned, then took their sweet time btw. I sat down. 15 minutes. No table set up. No ONE asked if I wanted a drink or acknowledged me what so ever!!! When my friend finally showed up.. still nothing. So I finally asked if anyone was going to serve us.... a salesperson (girl) says "oh I thought you were just here to use the outlet" A. I never pulled out a charger. b. I asked to sit at a table. A person just looking to charge their phone would not have asked for a table much less a clan table! C. Well... We go to waffle house as much as possible when we get in an area where there are Waffle Houses. I have to say this has been our least fav. Literally... all our food was cold when we got it and the poor guy that was serving us had absolutely NO idea what he was doing. He was trying... Sure... your waitress isn't going to have but one MAYBE two teeth. And the people sitting around you might have questionable body odors... But I bet you once you eat at Waffle House you'll find ways to justify the people, and even accept sitting in cramped quarters just to get some of that to die for breakfast food that wakes you up 2 hours early just so you can stop in at Waffle House before you go to work! First of all, I wanna eat with those two reviews below....they are my kinda girls! Seriously, no teeth on anyone, this structure is basically a doublewide trailer so that may explain a few things....like how there are 5 waitresses but only 3 'sections' and they all fight over the next table to come in. It's actually quite entertaining. Rosa stole someones table and then ended up giving it back....but Rose did have a customer come in and hand her a Christmas card which I have never seen before in my LIFE! and BTW, the waffles are AMAZING!! I thought I was a fan of IHOP pancakes, but heck no! I choose Waffle House from now on...especially because we ate like kings and our bill was $21, no wait, great service, entertainment provided. It's hilarious, really. But don't bring a large group here, you'll have no luck. read more

We waited for a table and while waiting saw that employees - including cooks - were not wearing masks correctly. About 60% had masks on their chins only, 30% had them on their mouths but not noses, and 10% (1 person) covered nose and mouth! I saw no sanitation. After thinking about it, we left. We've eaten at many restaurants during COVID but this is the first time it was definitely unsafe. Won't be back to this one. read more

My friend found it hilarious I had never set foot inside a Waffle House even though I have lived in Texas for seven years now. She insisted we go for a 3 am waffle and coffee run since we had been up really late painting her new office. Waffle House is kinda scary. First, we were the only non-minorities in the building which is ok. I didn't feel scared about that issue at all. What was scary was when onen fellow who was loud and drunk left without paying his bill and the entire flock of Waffle House staff ran out in the parking lot after him. If I was working in a WH, I would not be chasing down people in the parking lot. The weird system of the many ways to smother or cover or beef up or pepper up or cheese drench your hashbrowns is quite amusing. The coffee was good. The waffle was just eh. Nothing remarkable. Not great, not bad. It just "is'. Would I go again? hmmmmm... doubtful when Whataburger is also open 24 hours and not nearly as scary. I do however now have a commemorative Waffle House coffee mug to celebrate my Waffle House foray. My friend has a funny sense of humor. read more

We are in a pandemic right? Restaurants are just starting to open up right? There are clear rules for restaurants to limit the amount of customers right? There are clear rules for restaurants regarding menus and extraneous items right? This Waffle House just doesn't do any of it. They have certain tables marked off, but they are allowing tons of people to stand inside and wait for a table and/or their food. They have TOO many employees just sitting around/standing around. They aren't sanitizing ANYTHING. The menus are paper, but they are using them OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. The plastic ones would be better if you are going to do that! They also aren't sanitizing the salt/pepper shakers or the condiments. They don't have them on the table, but they aren't sanitizing them either. I love me some Waffle House, but I won't be back to this one I think...at least not until they have a cure for Covid. Just not worth it. read more

The staff is great. Clean looking and friendly. I'm not surprised since it's in a busy area but you can never put past any other waffle house. I have always seen it around, but I never went, so my wife and I decided to stop by to finally check it out. We were there for breakfast and had the two-eggs-meal and a waffle. Our salesperson was Shanda and she was very kind from the very beginning! She served us super quick and we had our food in no time. The waffle was perfect and hot enough for the chocolate chips to melt on it, which was great. The eggs were really filling and it was plenty of food, served rather fast I am giving four stars because this is not a fancy breakfast place and the food and atmosphere is not a five star-restaurant. The AC is cold, the design is not very inviting and it is loud. But the food is cheap, plenty and good - and thats why people go to Waffle House in the first place! Worst Waffle House experience ever. Ice cold dining area guests and staff wearing jackets. Greeted at door 17 min after sitting I got napkin fork knife menu couldn't take my order at that time 5 additional minutes was able to place order Another 5 minutes to get coffee Waitress very apologetic and said cook walked out. I asked if ac could be adjusted. She said it's been an issue and they have told Managment but can't do anything. I requested that they start cooking the waffle after eggs and bacon arrived at table to avoid eating a cold waffle. 25 min later all food arrived including waffle. She didn't understand the request which was ok but when she walked behind counter she started saying how she couldn't make me happy no matter how hard she tried. She's a good person tryin as hard as she can but just made bad situation worse. Hard to eat a meal while waitress is complaining about you for entire restaurant to here so I left before eating a bite. I must say, I've been to this location a few times before but never have I ever experienced so many nats flying around our food. Mind you the floor was dirty and I saw a bug too. So I was immediately turned off. Then the waitress comes to the table and doesn't realize she flicked some excess nastiness from her apron on our table.I had to clean it! This is the worst Waffle House I've ever been to in my entire life. I have never received service THAT bad in my life. The young black girl who was a waitress was the worst waitress I've ever had in my life. I was there for over an hour the restaurant was not even packed and I STILL did not receive all of my food. I left without receiving my waffle and bacon. I saw my waffles sitting on the counter while she was outside smoking a cigarette.... This was one of the greatest Waffle House experiences ever. The waitress made sure I got exactly what I wanted and how to order it for the least amount. Everything was flawlessly prepared. When Waffle House is good it's usually great and this was no exception. Waffle House is a shining example of how inexpensive plain Jane ingredients can be great when prepared hot and fast by a talented short order cook. Scrambled eggs were fluffy and better than some nom chain diners. Hash browns crispy but side interior. Pecan waffle also out of sight! Waffle House can be hit and miss but this crew seems to have it together and I will be back again. read more

My fiancé has always talked up Waffle House and had been wanting me to try it so we went here. This particular location was awful. The tables were dirty. The floors were dirty. The service was incredibly slow. The girl said she was new so we were willing to forgive some slowness and errors, however, this was excessive. My coffee mug had lipstick on it, his water glass had chunks floating in it. Our chocolate chip pancake came out plain. Instead of making it correctly the waitress threw some chocolate chips on top and brought it back. Because of my experience at this particular Waffle House I will never return to another. read more

Their waffles were ok. I've been at another Waffle House before and theirs were pretty good. The waffles here were not the same. My ideal type of waffle would be like the Belgian waffle from ihop, has a nice crisp to it. The ones I had here were a little thick and squishy like what you'd expect from a pancake. read more

Friend and I showed up to have a meal at Waffle House on N. Collins in Arlington. We sat down like normal near the door and the manager asked us to move to another table "because I don't want to spray you guys" is what she said. So we moved wondering why she did not want to spray us. A few minutes later she comes out with a can of RAID. Yes, RAID to kill bugs (cockroaches), and began spraying all over the facility, on the floor, under the counters, in the air, over the kitchen, on top of the tables. We were completely shocked as there was food laid out on in the kitchen. One of the customers mentioned something and she continued to spray saying "but it doesn't smell bad." WAS SHE SERIOUS? Clearly as she didn't stop. We asked the waitress we wanted our check as we didn't think it was safe for her to spray while there was customers in the building and where the cook. We told her we wanted to leave and she was a bit rude. We even stated "we didn't even drink our drinks as we can almost taste the RAID and we think it got on our drinks" she still charged us and said "ok" non-caring and without hesitation. When we got to our vehicles, they spoke and the manager began to spray in a more dramatic fashion. I'm completely flabbergasted!!!they did not care about their customers health, the way they process their food. What a place! read more

I usually go to this location and one of the reason is my niece loves the waffle here. However, on this visit the waitstaff decided to only cater to the one table that was there besides us. After 10 mins They'd rather talked than go over to get our order. Once they finally grabbed our order and after another 15 mins of talking to the other customers again, they still haven't served our drinks. This is ridiculous and uncalled for. If they don't feel like working then they shouldn't come to work in the first place. read more

I'm giving this a one-star because zero isn't an option. I'm not sure if this WHOLE staff was new or they really didn't care, but this was the worst service I have ever received. I know it's a Waffle House and not anything spectacular, but I had a to-go order, I was in a rush, and the girl didn't know how to ring me up. I figured she was new so I gave her a break.. When she finally got it together, I had to wait forever for a basic breakfast. (It's not rocket science.) when she finally bagged my order, all that was in there were toast and eggs. After waiting even longer for the rest of my food I finally left. I got to where I was rushing to, the eggs weren't cooked thoroughly, waffles still had batter that wasn't cooked all the way, grits were cold and lumpy, and missing my bacon and sausage. The place wasn't busy, so it's really no excuse. Instead of having a "come to Jesus" in the middle of the floor, maybe its staff should practice being more efficient on simple orders. read more

My family and I LOVE eating at just about any Waffle House! It's cheap, quick and tasty, especially for our young and picky eaters. This morning we were at this location from out of town. The waitresses inside were so friendly and just started up a conversation with us and made us feel very welcomed. Their names were Danyell and Rosa.
