Well you got a free hash brown!!! , is what the manager said after the lady at the cash counter charged me almost $10 extra and had no idea about it. There was no other customer in store, other employees were on their phones and could care less . My boyfriend went in first and she gave him $6 less then my bf said she overcharged him, that got settled, they forgot to make my order and made it after we got there. Then after hat confusion we realized they charged us $14 for one chicken sandwich!!!!!! Then we went back and the lady got her manager, gave us our rest of the cash back and apparently they have tax on food plus a to go tax!!! What?? After all this my bf was apologizing for the confusion that they caused and the manager says well you got a free hash brown. No sorry nothing. read more

Friday night November 13. 2015:  After a great night out with friends we decided to cap the evening with a meal at (what used to be) our favorite little after hours grub-hub, Waffle House # 206 at Cooper St and Arkansas in Arlington. The restaurant was not crowded on this now early Saturday morning and we were able to find a seat as soon as we walked in. The server was reasonably quick to arrive to take our order and took my friends orders first. After getting the order from my GF and myself we were served our drinks and conversed while waiting.  My friends orders arrived quickly and they began to enjoy their food.  My GF and I waited patiently and got drink refills while waiting for our food, which all orders were pretty similar. My friends and I each ordered the steak and eggs breakfast and my GF ordered sausage and eggs.  My friends were nearly finished with their meal before we were finally served ours. I noticed the steak was not at the table yet and assumed it would be following very soon. I noticed my hashbrowns were not to my order, missing mushrooms, but said nothing at that time. By now my friends were presented their check and I still had not gotten my steak for my meal. They noticed their bill was about $40.00 and were questioning the server about the charges for 2 steak and egg meals and 2 teas. I mentioned I was nearly finished with my meal and still had not seen my steak. I also mentioned the missing mushrooms and asked them to ensure they were not on my check. At this point the server left and another server came to the table asking what was the issue. As we were explaining things, She got rude and the tone quickly escalated to an argument and the server became more agitated. That is when she threatened to call the police on us all and accused us of not paying what we owed, which was not the case as we were all still seated and simply asking about the long list of individual charges on the bills along with food we did not receive. My friends and I decided it was no longer worth the time to continue this and we simply all paid our bills as shown since it was now obvious that we were not getting anywhere trying to reason with the staff. As we were exiting the server met us outside and continued to argue and called the police from her cell. We gave our statements to the officers and afterward we were met outside by one of the cooks who apologized to us for the entire issue. Needless to say, we will no longer go to Waffle House if this is the way they decide to settle a question about a check. read more

Went there for Mother's Day. Waited for 30 minutes, which I really did not mind. After we were seated in a booth, waited another 15 minutes, our waitress was fairly busy. We never got any drinks, menus, nothing. My husband asked the cook (who was just standing there doing nothing, if he would please take our order or get us something to drink. The cook said he was not allowed to do that, so we just got up and went to Razzoos Cajun Cafe, where I had a superb Mother's Day feast! No more waffle house!! I am so done with them! read more

Not my favorite waffle house but its central so its usually the most convenient. They have alot of turnover so you get new servers every time you go.. Make sure you are clear when you order so you don't have to send anything back. read more

My wife and I had breakfast this morning at your restaurant and had to report on how well it tasted and how wonderful the service truly was. The waitress Carrie was not only punctual and quick but additionally offered to warm why syrup which I've never had successful done for me in years. But there is nothing like warm syrup on waffles! When everything is closed and it's late at night, this is the place that will save your soul. I kinda have a soft corner for this place because this is where my boyfriend took me when we initially started dating (drunk nights ;))The service is pretty good and fast. They have the best hash browns with so many options (caped, smothered, etc). I always try different combinations and it never disappoints me. I usually order a veggie omelette with cheese (yummyyy) and "large" hash browns (you will regret it if you buy small hashbrowns, trust me!) That is my perfect little meal. Me and my family generally end up here after a late night movie. The people are very friendly and the food is perfect for a late night meal. Sometimes though, the waffles are served broken and look bad. But still, the yummy syrup makes up for it. read more

My husband loved Waffle House but this one visit at unit #206 changed everything. It's ironic that a poster on the window depicted a happy scene and the words: "Holiday Tradition" since 1955 because it messed up our Christmas Eve meal. We drove to Dallas from San Antonio to meet family from Arkansas for a Dallas Cowboys football game and then decided to eat at Waffle House. We sat for nearly 30 minutes at a table coated in syrup with dirty dishes stacked on it to even get it cleaned off. I had to go ask for someone to clean it and she finally did. Then we had to ask for coffee and that took forever. When it was set out there were no spoons to mix the creamer. And when we finally got dirty spoons (we used straws to stir), the coffee tasted like dirty water. The ladies at the table near us were upset as well. They kept asking for service. When we finally got our order it was wrong and the whole table for food and had awkwardly finished eating before my husband finally got his single waffle and ham. We kept asking why service was so bad. We kept saying we thought we were on that movie "Punked." How could service possibly be so bad? The only reason we didn't walk out was because we wanted the time with Family and there was literally no other place open. Still, we regret it. We were there two hours. Two hours!!! As I type this I am feeling sick to my stomach. And we paid $34.00. Wow. What a waste is time and money. Never again. read more

I like this place because you can roll out of bed and go dressed in whatever attire you feel like, and you won't feel under dressed: work clothes, gardening clothes, hell, even PJ's. Nobody would care. They're all very laid back. Excellent waffles, of course, and decent coffee with as many quick refills as you want. D likes the eggs. My favorite thing to get here is the Country Ham. I don't even really like ham, but this? This I loooove. I can't think of any other slice of ham that I like better. It almost has a bacon taste. Stopped in for a quick mothers day breakfast. The service and food were great. This has always been my wifes favorite breakfast place.

We used to come to this location on a regular basis. The food was always ok, and the service was better. We liked it because it was close. But we just had breakfast, if you could call it that, and have decided never to return. Today, our booth was surrounded with flies, and at one point, a cockroach crawled across the seat next to my leg. I'm giving this review at least one star because the tall, thin cook who was on today was phenomenal. I cannot say the same for my server Yoshi. Usually, when I walk into a Waffle House, everyone shouts, "Welcome to Waffle House!!" Today, all I got was crickets and a scowl. I took a seat at the counter because I was alone and on my lunch break. Yoshi (the one with the scowl) screamed from across the room asking if I was eating in or ordering take-out. I told her I was eating in. I had no menu, but when she walked up, she expected my order. I told her I wasn't ready to order yet, but I would like some coffee. By the way, she never refilled my coffee. I finally ordered something fast and simple because there were two waitresses, a cook and ten patrons. The girls eating next to me at the counter were trying to pay, and they mentioned Yoshi was looking right at them, but she took her sweet time to make it over to the register so they could pay. I'm still wondering if they left her a tip; they were visibly annoyed and upset with her. Yoshi never came over to check on me or even clear my dishes. I did hear her squawking about being a waitress today. I was ready to pay, but she was busy trying to get the cook to listen to her music on her earbuds. My total was $9.68, I laid out $11 cash and walked out. Needless to say, I will not be back to this location. If I wanted someone with an attitude, looking at their phone, listening to music on their earbuds and ignoring me, I would've asked my teenage daughters to cook for me. read more

This Waffle House was remodeled recently. We decided to give it a try on a Sunday morning -- and we arrived just in time to beat the "brunch" crowd. Food was what you would expect and was plentiful. What we really enjoyed was the extremely friendly staff, from the hostess, to the manager, to our waitress. read more

The first time I ate here it was excellent, but yesterday, no. Omelette was OK but too much cheese and not enough tomato and other stuff that was supposed to be in it. And very small. I like a huge omelette packed with all kinds of goodies. The grits were awful. Little chunks in them and not tasty. Not feeling satisfied, I ordered some hash browns, which were good. A relatively minor quibble: the menu doesn't give you enough information, e.g. what is included with omelettes. Finally (and this may sound mean), my waitress was so ugly it affected my appetite. read more

Horrible service. The tea tasted like it'd been sitting at the bottom of the sink for a week. There was at least 5 workers behind the counter and they were all slow and inattentive. There was maybe 3 other customers, so there was no excuse for not delivering prompt service.
