Ate here at 3am. Mid. Waitress was nice. Food was good but the toast on my sandwich was a little burnt. One of us ordered the All Star Special but he asked for the toast to be turned into a sandwich instead of pieces of toast. He was instead given the toast and the sandwich, but no pancakes. She substituted the pancakes for the sandwich by mistake. She didn't do anything to compensate for it. Quite a few people in here for the time it was. Stopped in at the Lake Worth Waffle House around 3:00 a.m. on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised after not visiting a Waffle House in over a decade. The staff was absolutely wonderful, every single person was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The late night vibe was exactly what you would expect at that hour, and the food was delicious for the price. Great service, great atmosphere, and great value. I will definitely be back. read more

One more thing... They have a particular middle aged person on the staff who insists on cueing up the jukebox with the most annoying obnoxious music played back at the loudest possible volume. I used to do pest control and I was always struck at the cleanliness of Waffle House vs. IHOP or Denny's. They are built to be easily cleaned and maintained. Hungry & short on cash? - this place is for you! We were both of those things, so it worked out OK for us. The food here is better than at most other Waffle House restaurants I've been to. I won't get specific on the food because we all know that Waffle House is "more bang for your buck," and not a place you go for "exquisite cuisine." You get basic, "so-so" food at waffle houses. Me and my parents love Waffle house. We went to the one by our house, in lake Worth. The service was terrible. The waitress was incredibly rude. Now my father is very picky when if comes to his eggs and he try to explain politely. And just the week before at another Waffle house they did it just the way they like them. As he was trying to explain, she cut him off and said "They can't do that" which was fine but my father at least wanted them to try. So my father compromises by saying "ok than I want them scrambled and if they aren't the way I like them as I'm going to be very upset" a little pushy but We are a CUSTOMER so we are paying for her service. But proceeded to say "I don't need your attitude, you can get out of my booth", yelling. And she just leaves us there. "This is not your booth, you are a server, we pay you to serve us, I was telling you very politely.", my father. "WELL YOU CAN JUST SIT THERE THAN"and she refused to serve us and was telling us to get out of "her" booth. No respect. As we were leaving to another waffle House with better service, I asked one of the other waitress for her name, Mikeshua, something like that, but I think she lied because I saw a T on her name tag, like a Tia,not sure. Never in a million years did I think I'd ever give a Waffle House 5 Stars. This WH was different. The waitresses were super friendly, the place was clean and comfortably warm. It wasn't seedy at all. We had stopped at another one down the road and they didn't greet us, the tables were filthy and it was blazing hot in there, so we left. We ordered our food at the same time as our coffee and it came out QUICK and cooked like it was ordered! This has never happened and I have been to many WHs! They were out of decaf so they made a pot, and FAST! The waitress checked on us several times and brought extra jelly quickly when requested. The waitresses were chatting a bit but only after they had done their work and served the customers, not before. So refreshing!! read more

This waffle house is pretty much the same as all waffle houses. It's usually crowded with people waiting to be seated, and there aren't very many seats. The food is good and the people are friendly, and they are always working hard trying to help everyone with who needs more food, drink, or just more napkins. It's been twenty five years that I've been to this waffle house. The service was great. But the cook should go back to McDonald's. Over easy eggs were over medium. The fluffy hash browns were twigs. Only thing going right was the milk, only because the cook didn't make it The waitress did an awesome job. Reason I tipped her well. How I miss our IHOP that just burned down. So this place gets 2 stars due to the service. When we walked in we were greeted with a friendly hello which was awesome. We sat and waited because we were a big party for a Waffle House (4 adults 5 children). After about 20 minutes we managed to be seated in two tables against the wall right next each other...however when they took our order they stated that it would have to be on two different tickets and that one waitress couldn't serve the other table and vice versa. We found it really strange that the ONLY two tables on that side of the restaurant were in the same "area". This made things a little more difficult than they needed to be. I sat with my dad and his gf and even though I ordered at that waitresses table, because I was sitting at the other table she wouldn't serve my food at the other table. Even though they were RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER. I get it, they both needed to work for their individual tips but....that was a little much. The food was good as usual. You know what to expect if you've been to a Waffle House. It is hilarious to see the people that have never been here. Sure it's a bit grimy, but at least they cook in front of you. The decor is from the 70's, but that doesn't matter either. Food is always good and comes out quick. There can be a bit of a delay when the place is packed, but I would expect that anywhere. New employee but wow he rudely replied when we said we wanted egg whites with our meal. Joseph's remarks "you should have said hold the egg yolks". What?!?!? Hey buddy you should know what egg whites only meant. Luckily the other lady employee was nice enough to ask if we were okay. Shortly after I heard people sitting behind us complaining about Joseph. Best Waffle House I have ever been too! Friendly, courteous, attentive and respectful of the customers from Darien and others. Best omelette too! I would put it up against the other breakfast places, ihop and ol south pancake house they can not compare. Darien and Tanya were great on making sure we had what we needed and even both apologized when our waffle didn't come out with the rest of the food ... impressive. Rickey was also helpful making sure we had drink refills. Only negatives would be the annoying flies and the Mgr that was yelling from her office; it was not a mad yell but nonetheless distracting and concerning at first. Otherwise a great experience.
