Waffle house is always a hit or miss in terms of service but I understand. It's 2 am so I can't be mad. Menu seems to be more limited than what I remembered (before COVID) but they may have less options that early in the morning. I got the plain waffle which was just okay. It's also 4.50 without tax. A little soggy than what I like. I also had half of my boyfriend's hash brown which I actually enjoyed a lot. It has a bigger potato stripes than other places but surprising I think I enjoy that more? Service was pretty good, very sweet and attentive which surprised me.

This is the best Waffle House I've been to and I've been to many! Everything was cooked to perfection! It's clean!! The cooks worked well with each other & the wait staff was on point too!! We sat at the bar and saw the care the hash brown cook took flipping & topping the potatoes instead of hurriedly smashing & mixing!

I finally had the chance to eat tonight after my gig. So Waffle House is the answer tonight on the way home. I pulled up, I am the only person in the parking lot and Waffle House. I took a quick photo and walked in, a few of the tables needed to be cleared. Floors looked to have been swept, had wet signs out but floors were dry. The lady took my order for the All Star. Hot Fresh Coffee and ice water to start. The waffle was real good. The main plate arrived hot and fresh, like it should be, I was the only one there. So a good hot filling breakfast

So I know Waffle House isn't generally thought of as a five star restaurant but... In context today the restaurant was just right today. Greeted as we walked in. Walked right in to open seat with my hubby. Smelled clean and also like good food cooking. Service was quick upon sitting. It was busy but clean. Bright clean silverware and glassware. Food came out fast and fresh. Order wasn't exactly right but they asked to be sure right away and fixed it with apologies in about 90 seconds. No worries!! Everything tasted great! Nothing was overly greasy or burnt, just cooked to perfection! Great breakfast today!

Awesome Waffle House. Was everything I expected. We got great service and the prices are amazing. I thought the food would be way too much, but it wasn't. It was perfect. The serving sizes were what I like. I am not a fan of gigantic portions. I like normal size human portions, not grizzly bear portions. The food tasted delicious. This place is great. A nice slice of American coffee shops. Would definitely come here again. Didn't give 5 stars because it's not a 5-Star kind of place. But for what it is, it's awesome.

Unsure about how clean this place is. Ordered food for pickup and as I was eating my grits I felt a big piece of plastic. A big piece of plastic wrapping was in my grits. Do better Waffle House.

All this under $40 and we walked out stuffed!

Best hash browns at any place I've been to in Texas! Friendly staff, polite conversation, and really clean.

All the food was over cook. The eggs where so dry, the sausage was burn & the toast was black. Don't waste your money here, awful food.

I got the Country Fried Steak and generally enjoyed it. Sausage gravy didn't really taste of sausage but was herby and flavorful. Eggs, hash browns cooked perfectly as requested. Some feedback from my other party members: - The chocolate milk barely tasted of chocolate and was almost $6 (not worth) - cinnamon roll pancakes were good but very very sweet - the smores french toast tasted mostly of chocolate and had Oreos (?) I overall also enjoyed the creative variety of the menu. We would return

We were seated shortly after arriving. However, the table was poorly cleaned and used napkins was on the floor beneath the table seating area. I asked the hostess to have the area cleaned so that my family and I can sit down and enjoy our meal. We ordered corned beef hash skillet with pancakes, south border skillet, biscuits gravy with eggs and pancakes. The corned beef hash skillet gets a high mark. The south border skillet was average. The biscuits gravy with eggs and pancakes were cold and it gets a low mark. If we decide to eat at Honey Berry in the future, it will be the Frankford Rd location.

Located right on the street, it's a good spot to stop for a bite to eat and drink right there in the historic downtown Plano. They even source their meat from the local Ye Ole Butcher Shop that is right down the street. I opted for the McNeal's classic burger. Those burger patties are amazing. If you have never had one and are a burger lover, stop by here sometime or the butcher shop itself. The side of fries here are crisp, not soggy or flavorless. Definitely has the pub feel going on. If I lived closer I would probably call this place home. I have had different servers the times I have been, and the service has been friendly and spot on. Update: went again and ran into someone from my hometown. This is def a Cheers type place lol

We chose to sit outside to be near the live performance which was a great call. We got the Irish Flag ($20) which is a flight of 3 tea shots in green, orange, and white tea. It was pretty light but fun to try. We then saw our friends sharing a frozen margarita that looked too good to pass up so we ordered one too. I cannot believe they are only $10 because they are huge and definitely meant for sharing. They have a few flavors to choose from and I do not remember which one we got but it was good and strong in the best way. It sneaks up on you. No brain freeze either which was a bonus and it put us in a great mood for the rest of the night.

Our server had a scowl on her face from the moment she came to the table. (Long dark ponytail) It was 12:30pm & it was not busy (breakfast rush was over.) We had to get up three times to ask for things, our toast & pancakes, napkins, coffee. The three servers working were standing at the front counter talking away with each other our server, at one point, was talking on her cell phone. The food quality has gone down in recent months. Eggs were nice & hot, hash browns were cold, bacon had been good in the past, but our past two visits the bacon has tasted burnt & it has an odd flavor. Toast was over cooked, not buttered, it was not edible. The last time our coffee was refilled was by a man that looked like he had just come out of the kitchen. He was very nice & we were grateful that our coffee was being refilled without having to get up and ask for it. The servers were still lolly gagging behind the counter while the gentleman was refilling our coffee. I have worked in the restaurant business from being a server & also in management. I am very understanding of all angles of what is going on in a restaurant setting. The service on Saturday was the worst service I have ever experienced. Rude & unapologetic, it was as if we were inconveniencing her. We will not be returning.
