    The "Our Burger Combo" $16.95
    Wendy B.

Wahlburgers is kind of far from my house so since I had to drive into town today, I decided to stop here for lunch on my way home. I'm glad that they are taking mobile orders (when this location first opened, mobile orders were not available) so I placed my order from the parking lot and it was ready in about 10 minutes. There were several people waiting for their food and several more in line waiting to order. I only saw one person taking orders and they do have a "help wanted" sign so just got to be patient. I got the "Our Burger" without lettuce, tomato, or onions. Got the combo that came with fries and a soft drink for $16.95. I prefer tater tots instead of fries, but I couldn't change it when ordering on the app. Not sure if you can sub tots for fries when you order the combo in person. The food court was crowded as it was lunch time so I just ate it when I got home. yummy!

    Wahlburgers in NEX

We arrived about 6:50pm on a Sunday night and most of the food court vendors were closing. However, Wahlburgers was open and employee Coen was nice and patient enough to let us order even tho it was 6 mins to closing. He allowed us to make minor tweaks to our order like remove the special sauce and/or replace the special sauce with ranch (sorry we're not thousand island dressing fans). The burger was good and satisfying! Juicy and flavorful. I think I'll come back to try the other sandwiches soon and make sure to get a condiment to dip our sweet potato tater tots in.

Looking for a good burger at a reasonable price? Check out Wahlburgers in the Navy Exchange (NEX) food court. You don't need a military ID to eat there, and there's plenty of free parking. And don't forget the fries -- they're really good too! Bonus - friendly service.

O.F.D burger and sweet chili wings

First time trying Whalburgers at the NEX. It replaced the McDonalds which used to be there. I knew I wanted to eat chicken wings so I got wings coated in sweet chili sauce and the O.F.D burger because it was labeled as "Mark's choice" and wanted to taste what his favorite type of burger would be. Wings are tasty, you cannot mess up sweet chili wings. Wings are decently big as well, none of the tiny wings you see at like fast food chains. O.F.D burger is very interesting... there's no other "normal" sauce like mayo or ketchup on it. The only sauce is tomato jam which basically taste like pizza sauce/marinara on a burger. The burger meat itself was tasty, but the mushrooms and marinara sauce do not mix well in a burger. It's like eating a pizza disguised as a burger. It has an identity crisis. The burger doesn't know if it's a burger or a pizza. It was an experience to eat it but I wouldn't get it again.

Lunch at the NEX (Navy Exchange) Food Court in Honolulu, Hawaii... When Wahlburgers closed at Ala Moana Center and opened up near Pearl Harbor, I thought that it was quite a smart business move. Instead of paying for rent - especially for a dine-in space at a landmark mall - Wahlburgers is now a streamlined takeout space with a shared dining area that everyone (locals and military personnel) can access! No ID is needed to park and enter the NEX. Just be aware of premium parking spaces marked for Military Officers. Take the elevator, stairs, or escalator up to the Food Court... It's very spacious with indoor and patio dining areas and convenient restroom up and downstairs! Wahlburgers is just about at the top of the escalator. The bright green signature color will catch your attention! Service is very efficient by the sharp employees! I give them credit for being polite and helpful. I was informed that my order would take about ten minutes. I appreciate that! I took my BBQ Bacon Burger home. Luckily, I had placed my package in a cardboard box because the sauce and oil leaked through the paper box and package. It's a messy, but tasty burger! I discovered the jalapeños and removed them after a bite! LOL! Overall, it was a good experience!

I wanted to try their food when they were in Ala Moana Shopping Center but they moved before I got a chance. I saw them at the NEX food court today so we had to try. I got the BBQ bacon burger and I liked it. My daughter in-law didn't care for the chicken sandwich. Break down on the sides: bacon Mac n cheese to me seemed like they rinsed the macaroni but didn't get all the water out? It seemed watery to me. Truffle fries , the texture was a little off. This is just a guess but I'm thinking maybe old fries that was reheated. Needless to say I was a little disappointed for the price. I really wanted to like it because it's the Wahlbergs!

Five stars. Highly recommended. Tried the burger and onion rings. The burger tasted really good for a fast-food type burger. I'd say it's one of the best out of all the major chains. The service today was fast and efficient. Great stuff! The ambiance was spot-on and presented very well. All-in-all give it a try & see for yourself!

Long wait for a chicken sandwich. It was delish--moist inside, flavorful, crispy outside! It was located in a food court on the navy base, so can't speak to what the ambiance should be compared to other locations. Definitely worth a try!

Newly opened at the NEX food court months of waiting finally opened May 28th, unknown to me I went to buy our lunch. I quickly stood in queue to place my order. The friendly staff were patient enough to answer my query on what is recommended I couldn't see the board (glasses) of their menu. She recommended Our Burger and for my sides onion rings. The queue was a long wait for all of the customers, I waited about 40 minutes but it was worth the wait! Their price is reasonable, the ground beef was perfectly great, tasted like we were eating hamburger meat! The onion rings were delicious nowhere have I eaten tasty onion rings! We will be back for more for lunch, snack or dinner! I highly recommend their first newly opened burger take out at the NEX food court!

There was no one manning the front so we waited a while before our order was taken. I wasn't bothered because it gave me a chance to look at the menu and decide why I wanted. The customer service was okay, not terrible but not good.. the cashier didn't seem really friendly and I couldn't hear him over the noise in the food court so I didn't hear him ask for a name before ordering; good thing my husband did. After providing my name, I ordered a patty melt with fries and my husband ordered the "our burger" with fries. The total came out to $37.00 for everything because everything is sold Ala carte. When our order was ready, a different employee call our name and thanked us for stopping by. He was really nice and personable. My patty melt was really tasty and although the fries wasn't seasoned, it was nice and crunchy. I don't think it was worth almost $5 but it's okay, I'm glad I tried it. My husband didn't care for the fries because he felt that it was sitting for a while and fried again. He also didn't care for his burger because there was minimal sauce and his burger wasn't cooked the way he requested it to be made; there was also no flavor. All in all, Im glad we stopped by and tried the food. I might come back to try the truffle fries since the person behind me said it was really good.

Menu June 2025 Navy Exchange Location
    Jen C.

Decided to try Wahlburgers since I never had a chance to try them when they used to be at Ala moana. This new location is on the second floor of the Navy Exchange at the food court and the food court is open to the public. I ordered the Bacon BBQ burger for $12.95 since i saw it came with jalapeños and I love jalapeños! It didn't disappoint, it came with Beef burger, white cheddar, bacon, fresh jalapeños, BBQ sauce and avocado spread. The burger was fantastic, and beware the fresh jalapeños are hot so if that's not your thing then don't get the jalapeños. I love jalapeños so it was great. You can specify how you want your burger cooked. I got mine medium well. Burger was juicy and a generous portion of bacon. It was my first time trying fried pickles ever so I don't have anything to compare it to but the fried pickles was $7.95 and came with ranch dressing. I thought it was just okay, the pickles were thin so i could only taste the batter, but i don't know if this is how fried pickles are supposed to be. The line was long since everyone's trying it out and i thought i would have to wait a long time since food is made to order but i got my food to go in 8 minutes! not bad. Seems like they worked out the kinks from their opening day. I would like to go back and try some of their other burgers. They have a breakfast menu too!

Finally checked out the new location at the NEX food court. At time of ordering staff lets you know they cook the burgers to "medium" (as they should be ) - so our burgers were great and super juicy! Added on the truffle fries and parmesan tots which were yummy and crunchy! Hopefully next time we visit the shake machines will be operating.

At the time, he stated that him and his partner were in a competition to see how many triples they could sell, but figured I'd keep that in the back of my mind for our next visit. We came here on a recommendation from my boyfriend's coworker and I'm glad we came! The burgers and fries were made fresh. There are only a hand full of tables inside and a small bar area, but there is also outdoor seating outside, too! A neat fact is that there were pictures posted from when the shop first opened up and to see They Daley as a fixture in Chinatown is amazing since they've stuck around and adapted to the development around. The burger was delicious, too. They have an aioli sauce that was good with diced up pickles. Usually I request no pickles but the small bursts really added to the texture and feel of the burger overall. 10/10 would come again!

I'm pleased to report that this latest order contained a perfectly prepared burger and a bag of crispy fries (as ordered). The remaining nitpicks were: 1) having to wait an additional 10 minutes past the time the order was supposed to be ready, 2) paying $6 for a bag of fries. Increase the price of the burger by $1 and reduce the price of the fries. Yes, the total would be the same but the value would be where it belongs. In any case, $10 is money well spent for a great burger.

I ordered the Wagyu Deluxe Burger, and don't get me wrong--it was juicy, well-seasoned, and served on a soft, slightly sweet bun that tied everything together nicely. It was delicious! But if you blindfolded me, I don't know if I could confidently tell you it was Wagyu. It tasted very similar to a really good smash burger, so unless you're trying to impress your taste buds (or your wallet), I'd probably just order the original smash burger next time. One thing to keep in mind: there was only one guy running the whole operation when I visited. He was taking orders, cooking, and doing everything short of cloning himself. So if the place gets busy, expect a little wait. Honestly, respect to him for keeping it all together. Parking is a bit of a treasure hunt since there are only a few stalls. I got lucky and snagged the last spot, but street parking may be your backup plan. The inside was clean, spacious, and a comfortable place to enjoy your meal. Overall, I'd definitely come back--next time I'll save a few bucks, grab the original smash burger, and let the lone burger superhero work his magic.

I'm not sure how new they are but it appeared that they had only 1 server, who was very efficient and attentive. The food took a bit longer than I would have liked, especially for burger and fries. Menu was adequate, burgers, hotdogs and fries, which is a good sign for me because that means they're not trying to do too much. I got two wagyu cheeseburgers, no onions, extra pickles for the girls, the One burger for myself, and a basket of fries. The girls really loved their burgers and they were a really good size, I could've done away with just ordering one and dividing it between the two of them. The bread was really nice, I can't tell if it was maybe a brioche burger bun or what but it was super tasty, soft and it sopped up the yummy juices well. They did excellent on the request for extra pickles, and the bread to patty ratio was very generous. The fries were good. Nothing extraordinary, but they complemented the burgers well. I think they might be the Ore-Ida frozen ones, which is fine. For my burger, I was pleasantly surprised and realized that I LOVE blue cheese with my burger. Between the tomato bacon jam, the pickles, onions, and special sauce, it was like a well-orchestrated symphony, each flavor getting highlighted without being overpowering, and complementing the rest. That being said, somehow, there was something missing. I am not quite sure what, but I think it's from the actual hamburger patty. I really wanted to say this was one of the best burgers I've had but there was something that just didn't quite get me there. For a wagyu patty, I think I needed it to be richer, and to hold its own with the other ingredients, but it felt like the add-ons were carrying the burger. I mean, I felt like the bread was doing more than the patty itself. Maybe the patty got a bit overdone and would've worked better medium rather than medium-well to well-done? I really can't be sure. Will I go back? Yes, for sure. I am curious about all the other burger variations they have with the fried Kimchi and the Umami mayo. Maybe I'll even try The One fries with all the fixings. And if they could just find that one tweak, they may turn out to be one of the best burgers around.
