Hair Clippers $8 cheaper than Amazon
Jacob C.

I love my local Walmart. I placed an online order for some produce (Avocados, Cucumber) imported from Mexico and paper consumables like plates, napkins, and TP. They also have good prices on toothpaste and mouthwash. I arrived early and the order was placed in my trunk in about 5-10 minutes. The customer service is exceptional. If you're hungry, there's an EPL and Raising Cane's next door. There's also Thai and Sushi across the street.

10/5/24 The 4th store, finally found the sheet straps/clips!! The very last set, where I can't reach, it's mocking me. By the way, when did Walmart start locking up underwear?! It's the story of my life, been looking for these suckers, sheet straps. Got the deep pocket sheets, supposedly, but every morning, it's same thing, the sheets come undone. It drives me up the wall. Could've gotten them at Amazon but I wanted a physical store where I can see the item in person. I think the ones I bought a while back was from Beth Bath & Beyond when they were still in business (actual store, not online). I set out to finally purchase them today. I went to Target TJ Maxx and HomeGoods. No dice. When I was at HomeGoods, I told the lady at the check out that it would be funny if find these sheet straps at Walmart. Sure enough, Walmart has them, the very last set (the only option, not much of a selection) and wouldn't you know it, it's out of my reach! I found a way to reach and knock them down. I was not about to go searching for a staff member to get them for me--that might've taken another 30 minutes. Check out was a bit strained, I was standing there while the cashier & another staff member were busy ignoring me. They were both talking to another customer who was waiting for service at another department. The customer said he was waiting there for 15 minutes & nobody showed up. I am not surprised. This was the reason I try not to frequent any Walmart unless I absolutely must. At the very least, I got what I came for & no one accosted me at the entrance. Mission accomplished.

The empty auto care center that says APPOINTMENT ONLY!

SO NOW WALMART HAS A APPOINTMENT ONLY FOR OIL CHANGE and nobody's here and they still, won't do you! So I guess they're gonna stand around all day because of their new policies! That's why I go to GLENN THOMAS. ..PERIOD!

I've been waiting for half an hour plus to get Allergy medicine, no one comes when I press the call associate button, and no one is answering the phone either. I just need the Loratadine on G8, someone come unlock it already. Other people have already given up and left to go to other stores.

People seem to knock this place because it's Walmart. Prices are good and staff has always been considerate and helpful.

Belmont Heights is so lucky to have great local businesses like this one…read more Ma 'n Pa Grocery is the cutest pop-up grocery around. They have all your typical liquor store needs: alcohol, sodas, snacks, beach items, etc. But they also come packed with fruits and veggies and favorite premade lunch/dinner items. You'll find an extensive selection of coleslaw, sandwiches, desserts, pre-marinated meats and more. I recently grabbed a turkey sandwich on a hoagie roll and a slice of lemon bundt cake (my payment for doing a social activity.) I noticed several people ordering their large steamed artichokes, so I'll need to return to fully understand the hype! Their catering menu is pretty extensive - it legit includes 20+ meat options. I definitely plan to take advantage of this when my parents visit next.

I didn't see a bathroom so I'm not sure if there is one. Service: 5/5. Fast friendly, no issues. Food: 3/5. We got breakfast burritos and since I'm such a breakfast burrito snob, this one wasn't bad, but was far from the best I've had. It was fresh and was made exactly to my specifications. Overall I would come here again in a heartbeat because the store has so many cute unique items and I love places like this!

I come here looking for specific things like natural maple syrup and high quality flour. I tend to not get fruits and I tend to find more items here from small businesses than brand name spots, so I'll sporadically find things here to impulse buy. They also have lots of prepared self-service hot foods and a poke bar if you want a meal to go. My favorite thing here are their fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, priced at $3.75. They sell so many of them, that they're constantly putting out fresh batches. I've come in four times this year for it and it's been hot and fresh every time! I find that outstanding as I've been to stand alone bakeries with cookies that weren't as fresh as they are here. The cookie is massive and has high quality ingredients you can taste. It's as good of a chocolate cookie as you can find anywhere. Come get some, because if they keep up the high turnover, then I can keep eating them hot and fresh!

I've had issues with the fresh cheese cut in-store, which unfortunately tasted off and had a strong ammonia-like flavor. I will be returning it tomorrow for a refund. This experience has put me off buying their fresh cheeses going forward. I'm also not particularly impressed with the pre-cooked deli selection. There are frequent things that make me hesitate to purchase, such as a recent fish dish that was heavily overdone with capers to the point it felt unbalanced. That said, I do still come in occasionally because they carry some hard-to-find items. I've found excellent coffee here, and I've enjoyed their crab cakes. Customer service has also been very mixed. I had a particularly unpleasant experience with a cashier who had a poor attitude when I was overcharged for an item that was marked differently on the shelf than what I was charged. I went back to show the original price tag, even retrieving the torn portion to demonstrate it matched. Despite this, I was treated as if I might be trying to manipulate the price over a difference of about two dollars. There was no apology, just a dismissive and rude demeanor. The correction was eventually made, but it was handled awkwardly, and I was handed multiple receipts while my original receipt for other purchases was not returned. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, not because of the pricing issue itself, but because of how it was handled. Overall, I still stop in for a few specialty items, but my confidence in consistency and customer service has definitely been affected. The ambiance of the store is nice. The parking lot it can often be a nightmare.

I bought some good quality food at reasonable prices. Definitely didn't break the bank. This location is small, but had everything I needed. Only thing was lacking was customer service. Cashier didn't smile or even say hi, but she did to the people behind me afterwards. I wasn't too thrilled about that because it did ruined my experience. Overall, I do love Aldi!

The majority of the staff I have encountered--outside of one kind gentleman who is technically a third-party representative and not directly employed by the Aldi brand--have been truly unprofessional. Although there is no excuse for this behavior, it does not appear to stem from dissatisfaction with their jobs. In fact, many of the employees seem content. Rather, it is the attitude and manner in which certain clientele are treated that comes across as distasteful and disrespectful. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed and experienced childish tactics from employees. This has included making comments such as, "You better move out of the way," as customers are navigating the aisles. There have also been instances where employees appeared to aggressively toss or move boxes directly beside customers as they were attempting to pass by. While I understand that inventory stocking occurs throughout the day, there are professional standards and common courtesy practices that should be maintained during business hours. From time to time, there are also aggressive customers who behave as though they are entitled to bully others simply because they believe they can. Example: The cart return area has three lines for customers to choose from. On one of these occasions, I was placing my cart back and gathering my groceries when, out of nowhere, I saw another customer mad-dashing toward where I was standing. She then aggressively started yelling, name-calling, shouting, and scoffing in the most unladylike fashion. She gestured that she needed to return her cart; mind you, there were two or three other lanes that were open and available. Yet, she was insistent upon badgering me to drop everything I was doing during my grocery experience to appease her ill repute. Absolutely not. I am unsure whether she may have been attempting to scam me, as she was desperately trying to get me to leave my fully loaded shopping cart unattended, exposing my wallet and groceries. The security who had been on duty and watching the incident did nothing to prevent further harassment. Noting, a continuation of "selective" targeting and job performance. I've also noticed that some of the security will abandon their position to go stand in certain areas of the store and touch store product. I found this odd as I do not see how that is conducive to their "supposed" role of providing safety. Unfortunately, the negative attitudes displayed by some employees seem to mirror this same energy, creating an unnecessarily uncomfortable shopping environment. Nonetheless, I genuinely enjoy the Aldi brand and appreciate the products they offer. For that reason, I will likely continue shopping at this location. However, it would be in Aldi's best interest to address the conduct of some of the individuals representing the business. Improved professionalism, stronger customer service standards, and greater accountability would significantly enhance the overall shopping experience.
