Hello just wanted to write this review in regards to some Diapers which I had no receipt since It was gifted for my baby shower I didn't want money in exchange just to switch brand and Sophia was really rude and said they can't do that I looked up on line which does not say they can't be returned of course if the item was opened then no return but she then tried showing something saying that it's not allowed which was in writing not even typed professional. Then she stated we can basically pick and choose if we want to return and this item I will not return Sophia is not a good example of a store manager. read more

I went in to Walmart yesterday to purchase a bike. We kept waiting and waiting pushing the call button for assistants and even going over to the cosmetic department to call for assistants. There were 2 other customers waiting and they left. After calling over 10 times and asking the nice cosmetics lady to call maybe we would get help if we played with the balls, someone would see us on the cameras, I told my grandson he could even use one of the little bikes as a scooter and ride around the store. Nope didn't help! Finally an employee told us that "the guy with the key was at lunch and had it on him". By then, we had waited over an hour. I had enough! I talked with the store manager and basicly was told "the guy forgot to leave the key" and your wasted time was not her problem. Automotive department is horrible. They have no idea what they are doing. Went for an oil change, later I noticed oil was leaking. I thought it might have been dripping because of spillage. My car requires an oil change every 10,000 miles. Today I went to a different Walmart for an oil change after 9,000 miles. Refer to the picture of what the technician found when I arrived. I have many things to say about this store, all of which have been overshadowed by the absolute disdain I experienced from Jennifer, the front end coach on the night shift, who has demonstrated repugnance of any type of leadership skills which would be needed to fulfill her role. She is unkind, disrespectful, and RUDE not only to customers, but to employees. When an employee who was helping me asked her to assistance, the tone of her voice and the way she spoke to him was so disrespectful that I was embarrassed for her and the lack of professionalism she exhibited in front of a group of customers in the self checkout section. This is not my first interaction with her, but I'm so hopeful that this will be the last interaction. Her callous attitude and behavior towards customers and employees is a deterrent and has caused me to avoid this store in the past. After this interaction I'm feeling avoidant of shopping here once again. The behavior displayed and dialogue with others is quite crass. Highly recommend more training. There's a sprouts down the street from this location and a food for less right next to my house. This store isn't the only option. read more

Was in last night delt with the rudest clerk at checkout . She charges triple a bunch of items not for a lot of money but every dime counts. Go to the manager JENNIFER and she proceeds to laugh at the amount it was cause apparently to her it wasn't enough to worry about and then talks about a African American woman who was upset about another worker. Walmart is Walmart I tend to not care so much about the regular annoyances of a general store but this one has some pretty stand out annoyances. I find that more often than not, there is stock on pallets or carts in the aisles. Employees are asking to be excused in all directions and the place is in constant disarray. Same old walmart story with the people in motorized carts lining the snack aisles, if this shocks you go check it out. Throughout the store remain unbiased and see where the most abundant amount of carts are. Prices are just fine no complaints but we shy away from the standard grocery stuff since we believe they mark it up a bit. Milk, eggs, etc... Other stuff like cereal, juices etc are just fine. Checkout is just fine, keep in mind that they don't have free bags given out. You need to bring your reuseables sincere have the long beach ban in full effect. read more

ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS FOR WRONGFUL CHARGES!!!! Yesterday afternoon around 4:30pm i went to your 7250 Carson blvd, Long Beach, CA 90808 location. I specifically went to check out Christmas clearance in beauty section. I had found a bunch of items on clearance. I used your app to confirm the prices. So the cashier in beauty section said we couldn't leave area with the items, i was okay with that. She proceeded to ring up the first item but it came up full price. So i told her, that's incorrect it's 75% off bc it's Christmas and your app says so. She asked me to see the app so i showed her. She looked a bit confused like she didn't know how to change the sale price so i said. "Did you want to call a manager over?" She said "no" so one by one of each item i handed it to her and showed her the sale price on your Walmart app. Then at the end the total came out to $92... that's when i knew something was wrong but at this point I'm annoyed because it took her forever to ring me up and she didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. I paid for the items and a minute later i went straight to return center which is right across from beauty center. I wait in line and then it's my turn. Hispanic girl tells me what's the issue? I told her i just came from beauty and walked over here and i think woman in beauty must've did something wrong bc how is my total $92 for clearance items that are suppose to be 75% off. So she looks at my receipt and tells me that the cashier in beauty rung me up FULL PRICE AND SALE PRICE ON EVERY SINGLE ITEM. How the hell does that happen? I kept my cool because it's not the return centers fault. She proceeds to tell me what the woman did wrong on every item and then we decide to go over which i wanan keep and don't because i wanted to return a few items because apparently some items weren't Christmas clearance which can't be true because your own app rings up Christmas clearance but at this point I'm over it and decided to just keep the items that rang up 75% off. So as the Hispanic cashier is helping me, your caucasian cashier next to her decided to disrespectfully say INFRONT OF ME "make sure these items are from this store because people come in all the time and rip us off" i said "excuse me?" I went to Walmart sheerly because I was lazy and it was close. The item I bought broke in one day. I had to make a separate trip to Osh only to find out that they had a better selection, better designs and colors, and better prices. Lazy never pays. They have also "remodeled." I cannot shop in here any more. Maybe I just got sensitive to this, but there used to be parts of the store where, as a woman, I could browse certain items and not be under the gaze of men in adjoining sections. Whatever cut-rate store designer they paid really put the "ward" in "backward" and "awkward" of this store. My experience of being assaulted by a mentally-challenged employee at Target would be better than being at the remodeled Walmart. This Walmart is Get-O, but it's one of the last locations Open 24-Hours: In recent months many Walmart locations went from being 24-hours to closing at Midnight then re-opening at 6am, this change implemented to reduce cost, reduce theft, and become more profitable. 1) Located off the 605 frwy & Carson St Exit. 2) Some shopping carts don't work properly because of broken/crooked wheels. 3) Lots.....and i mean lots of tattooed people here, some look like they should be in Prison, but i guess they did their time, so we had to let them out :( read more

I wanted to finish the review of the wonderful gentlemen that work and run the tire center and I needed emphasize how much the two guysy s that run that department were so overly attentive to me as a customer I will forever be a customer.. The manager of the tire department was so vey nice and had the opportunity to experience the attitude of my over controlling husband whom was on the phone and I was trying to get my cars front tires fixed and in the process found more problems with the rear drivers side tire. The tire installation guy named Shaun was so concerned to inform me that I should not drive the car at all do to the fact he said that the lug bolts were stripped and that the car's tire will not stay on the car and would fall off and cause an accident... Well, he was more than right.....I thought I would be alright for only a few blocks and was informed to take it to a tire place down the road to get the rest of the items that need fixing. Well the tire fell off and I was possibly 20 feet out of the Walmart tire department. The guys immediately came running to my car with cones to make the car safe and proceeded to get the tire to hold long enough to move it to the parking lot to fix the problem Well it is very important to emphasize that I should not have been driving that car like that the tire was hanging on by a thread and the calipers were bad and it needed over $3000.00 worth of work done and now the car is running like a champion bullfrog. Even after Shawn was done with the other customers tires he walked over to assist us in getting my car rolling enough to get to a mechanic and get it repaired. The department manager came out to check on the repairs of the car and to check to see if was alright. We ended up towing the car to the mechanics to fix the car. And then the manager called and checked on me about a week later with regard to the car which I thought was above and beyond high end customer service... Worst customer service . I was buying a money order and "Derek " was the representative . Rude, diva . He was so obscene to me . The manager Christine was standing there and allowed him to be verbal and disrespectful . The couple behind me told the manager that he had been instigating an argument when all I wanted was to conduct My business , Christine allowed him to stay at the register and would not hear me when I told her how unprofessional he had been . I saw this person Derek a few days later when I went in to buy household items and he recognized me and followed me around the store attempting to intimidate me . I like Walmart...no matter what "haters" think of it. Everything in one place, cheap prices...good to go! Granted many of the workers are almost comically bad at their job...hard to even get mad anymore cuz at least they are consistently the WORST employees ever! First off, this is a Walmart, so you know what you're getting into when you shop here. Due to the convenience in location, we come here for staples and their low, low prices. That being said, their employees leave a lot to be desired. On more than one occasion the employees have been rude, belligerent, and oftentimes extremely unhelpful. We ordered a custom canvas print once and when I went to pick it up, the edges were completely mangled. So we put in a reorder and when I make a special trip there to pick up the replacement, the edges are again torn. When I complained and asked to speak to a manager, the rude employee tells me her supervisor is on a conference call and can't speak to me. Really? A work-related conference call at 8:30pm? So when I asked to speak to another manager she tells me none are available when she neither called to check, or looked for one. *sigh* Point is, the employees here are pretty awful. They do not care to assist their customers and god forbid you encounter a problem - they will most likely cause you a lot of grief. Visited this store last night for some batteries, and I ask an associate where the batteries are and he tells me they're in electronics at the far opposite end of the store. So I turn to start my epic trek, and what do you know - the rounder right in front of the register we were at was filled chock-a-bock with BATTERIES. *sigh* Admittedly I come here often for convenience (this location is open 24 hrs), but 9 times out of 10 the trip leaves some sort of bad impression. read more

We kneeled in front of the cases and took some images of the phones that interested us, so we could do some research. We were interrogated by no fewer than four associates asking if we were planning to purchase phones. I use the word 'interrogate' because of the tone the associates used - as if we might be criminals. Standing up, I said out loud, "We are not shoplifters." A twentysomething male with glasses said "No one accused you of that". Yeah, you did. We both work retail and deal with theft issues. I had my husband take my 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid to get 4 brand new tires today since they offered a deal under $300.00 for all 4 tires. No one was there except my daughter and husband and they dropped off the car and told the staff what Tires I wanted. At first they said they had to locate the tires. Ok what's that 15 to minutes to look. Nope try 1 hour. So my daughter and husband went off shopping since there were things needed. Another hour passes by as my husband goes to check on the progress. Car is up all tires off and not one technician around. They sat and waited 45 more minutes and a few techs came out of the warehouse laughing. My husband got up and looked again, one tire is being placed on. We'll, all this time and my husband says he won't go back because they took their sweet time putting 4 tires on which, I myself have done myself in less than an hour some where else, but I didn't take my car this time. My husband said ge would have asked to have the car down so they could take it somewhere else, but like he said, the technicians were MIA most of the time. Management needs to be present for these jokers who think it's cool to just take three hours to change 4 tires. Just sad. read more

I had to do a review on Walmart. You definitely do not go there for the customer service that is for sure or the long lines. I go there pretty much for the selection of low quality goods. You can find some good deals here and there and even find some cheap DVDs. Never try to get a video game there, the people there are pretty slow. The clearance you can find some good bargains here and there. One thing about bad customer services is the people who work there do not give a sh*t you can return almost anything without any problem. Just tell them it does not work and they will say okay and just toss the item in the bin =) Oh yeah you definitely can not complain about the hours, I think it is 24/7 I believe. Today I went to this store telling the manager that my daughter and my pregnant sister have gotten sick from the baby yogurt that I bought for them. It was not few days old but a entire month !! I was expecting him to apologize, I told him he should go check the yogurt section as it was risky for babies, and he could get in real trouble. The guys brushed me off and refunded me the 3 pack of yogurt that I bought a week ago. With that refund I got an other brand of yogurt, I came home and again they where dated for June 18th today is July 10 !! I call the same store manager and he didn't offer an other solution, or didn't ask me what yogurt it was so he could go check the date and make sure that was not gonna happen to anyone else. He asked me to come back, I live 30 min away, so No I am not going back for a $2.48 refund. On top of that my one year old have fever and diarrhea. The service at this Walmart location is usually not bad. On my last visit it was horrible. They put the worst possible person at the exit to check customer receipts as you leave the store. Her name was Melvina and her actions along with ZERO social skills was so horrible that I eventually demanded to speak with a store manager. I'd shown her my receipt for the few (visible and unbagged) things I'd purchased at this store that were in the upper basket only, explaining to her that the items in my bags were from other stores. She actually had the nerve to rifle through my sealed bags rubbing her grubby yellow press on finger nails up against the grapes I'd gotten from a high end produce store called Sprouts. I actually said to her, 'Stop physically touching my foods!' When I did speak to the store manager I asked WHO thought it would be a good idea to put an employee with NO social skills at all out in front dealing with the public!? The manager was apologetic and said they'd speak with Melvina. As she's thumbing through my grapes with dirty press on nails and no gloves 7 or 8 people are exiting the store without showing any receipt at all. Large Walmart , tiny vitamin section , short narrow aisles for the vitamins which to me discouraged people from shopping in those aisles by. The rest of the aisles fort food , clothing household goods are normal enough. This location is always crowded with a lot of rude people that cross in front of you , stop in front of you clog up the aisles with their 10 family members. I went to this store this morning to ask some questions, and I'm disappointed in the "customer service" this store offers. Dahlia at customer service was not interested in my concerns at all. She also is wearing her name tag backwards so no one can see her name. Dahlia was more interested in cleaning up the area instead of helping customers. Original price $578 and on sale for $498. Was overcharged about $100.00 and when I went back to approach and ask why cust. Serv. Mgr Carina provided the worst customer service ever. Attitude and sarcasm was not appreciated. She said it was a different tv and that they do not price match.
