What-a-disater My very first experience at a Whataburger and I can not believe the variety of ways they managed to screw it up. I was the only person ordering but this place was such a disorganized, chaotic mess that ordering a meal took a solid 5 minutes and required two employees and a Manager. I got my meal and immediately realized that they'd gotten my order wrong. O...K, less fries and a larger drink are probably fine. But I got a jalapeno and cheese burger and the cheese isn't melted. the jalapenos have no kick and the whole thing is smothered in the cheapest most repulsive American style mustard you've ever eaten. I check out the fries and realize there is a 1 to 1 ratio of salt to potato. I have to roll them in a napkin just to make them palatable. And the strawberry shake tastes like a cold chemistry experiment. I hate wasting food but I looked at each item and had no interest in any of it so I gave it back to them and asked for a refund. So I placed the an online order 1/16/23 and I did not receive the items that I paid for which are a large order of fries, the 2 honey mustards that I paid extra for and there was no cheese on the Whataburger that I ordered. So I reached out to customer service online and attached the receipt for reference. I only received the automated response that said that I would be contacted with 3 to 5 days. Nothing happened so I reached out again on 1/25/23 and as of today 2/17/23 no response. I just can't believe that the customer service has been so poor. We've never had a bad Whataburger experience, until this one. The primary issue stemmed from a simple mistake which snowballed because of staff indifference. After we ordered, the cashier forgot to give us the order tent corresponding to our order number and then issued the same order number to another couple (this time with the tent). Because we love to photograph the little order tents, we caught the mistake and alerted the manager/crew chief immediately, but the staff failed to act. When we then politely alerted the other couple of the mix-up, so they would make sure it was their order and not ours, the couple mocked us and then said they would love two orders. They were rude and not joking. After waiting a bit for our food, the staff then delivered our order to the grumpy couple, which prompted more snide remarks from them. Although we eventually got our order, the staff downplayed the mistake and didn't apologize, which made us feel unwelcome. Basically, we were made to feel bad because the staff made a mistake. Had the staff stepped in with good cheer and addressed the issue, we would have been much happier. Instead, they took no ownership and made us have to negotiate with the rude couple. Sadly, the food was not up to the high Whataburger standards we have so enjoyed. A good meal might have also made us feel better and allowed us to shrug this off. We were so disappointed with our experience and the staff indifference that we just didn't feel like ordering a Whatamalt and instead went to a nearby In-N-Out for a milkshake afterwards. At the nearby In-N-Out, we found a full and happy dining room with attentive and friendly staff. We had a love affair with Whataburger since the 1980's, when we used to live near several. Sadly, we will stop going out of our way for a Whataburger when travelling because of this. read more

Was in there when some man and woman were screaming at another customer. Staff did nothing, and in fact I think some actually hid and did not want to get involved. This whataburger is terrible . The honey butter chicken biscuit was hours old. The coffee was cold and stale. There was hair on the floor and booth I attempted to sit at. Whataburger was the go-to, All-American spot before In-N-Out came to Arizona. I really don't see them around any more, but to run into one that's open 24 hours was refreshing. I feel those three things help perfectly clash with each other so I can fully savor the meat and the overall meal. The staff never even judges me or gripes about me wanting all the extra stuff. The fries, always crisp and golden and not too salty, but enough salt to have with the "Fancy Ketchup" ! I always grab extra "fancy ketchup" here to take home with me. Onion rings taste sooooooooooooooo good. Add some ranch for 30 some cents, and yep.. Inside, like I said, clean.. but they play 50s-60s music, and it is music I grew up listening to, so I like the ambiance! What I like is that I can go in at the 3am and sit down and my food is cooked just as fresh as if I ordered it at 2pm! This place is open 24 hours so this place is legendary in my book. When I looked down I was shocked to see that the chicken was completely raw inside. My friend ate multiple strips before he noticed. This Whataburger is my favorite by far! I'm in a wheelchair and when I arrive, they will open the door for me. The manager Kim has also offered to help in filling my drink and take it to my table for me. Food is always hot and fresh!
