Still, they told me it could not be patched and that I needed to buy a used tire instead. Since I was already there and the work needed to be done, I ended up paying $60 for a used tire. What disappointed me most was that I originally thought I would be able to keep my old tire and take it home, because I believed I could patch it myself and keep it as a spare. In the end, that was not how it worked. Their used tire replacement process meant they kept my original tire and gave me another used tire in exchange. So it did not really feel like I was simply buying a used tire for $60. It felt more like I was trading in my old tire, which did not even have a hole that obvious to me, and still paying $60 on top of that. The service was done quickly, but the overall experience left me feeling less satisfied than before. Next time, I would definitely compare prices and ask more questions at a few other shops before making a decision.on the car

Then I came here, and the experience was completely different. Larry was so kind and helpful--he attended to me immediately and got everything taken care of without any pressure. They fixed the punctured tire, and while I was there I also got a tire rotation and alignment done right away. Larry originally quoted $150 for the alignment, but after seeing that it didn't need much work, he only charged me $100. That kind of honesty is rare and really appreciated. She was so worried that it was going to be expensive and she wouldn't be able to get it fixed right away. When I called I spoke with Larry and he was incredibly nice. He informed me that they do not charge for a tire patching service. I relayed this information to my mom crossing my fingers that when she arrived she wouldn't receive a different answer (like most places) and Larry took care of her for FREE just as he said. My mom said that Larry and Tyler were incredibly helpful and very polite and friendly. Larry GREATLY assisted my mom by notifying her about another tire that was very low tread and also FOR FREE moved the low tread tire to the back of her car "in case anything happens before she can replace it". I have NEVER encountered such genuine, kind, and thoughtful service. THANK YOU LARRY for taking care of my Momma like she was part of your family. She will be back!!

Well, guess which tire he loaded into our trunk - the one with a nail. I called right away the next morning and left a VM with the person that answered the lobby phone. I was told it was Juan's day off but he took my name and number and said Juan would call me the following day. He never did. It wasn't even on a wknd. I was expecting a call from Juan on a Tues. I'm in the service/hospitality business too and I know it can get busy, however just because Discount Tire & Service Center in Irvine already collected $632 from me doesn't mean they shouldn't return messages from a new customer within 12-hours of the service. They proceeded with telling me I have to go through the manufacture rather than them rectifying the issue. This is poor customer service and if you ask me fraud. I'm a pretty reasonable guy but this could have been handled differently . The sad truth of running a business incorrectly and lack of customer service.

My impression is that America's Tire runs a low margin operation, and one way they try to make up for that is with more aggressive sales tactics. If you are going to come here, I would suggest that you know ahead of time exactly what products and services you need. The quality of the service itself seemed reasonable to me. Since they only do a very small number of different services, the very busy team runs almost like an assembly line; and in my experience that leads to fewer mistakes.

They gave me a few choices of tires, but non of their choices were inferior tires. I told them that their competitors offered me another brand for cheaper. They told me that they had never heard of the brand, and that it was a cheap brand...etc. They put on quality tires, ran some tests, and did a very exact alignment. I got a printout of the results. We are so happy with the quality of our new times and the work they did. Remember, it is the truth that matters when your life depends on your tires. I can't say enough good things about Ed and his team at Transmission Specialist…read more My Ford F-150 suddenly went into limp mode and was stuck in third gear, along with a few other issues. Since my truck was out of warranty, I wasn't sure where to turn. I reached out through Yelp and heard back from Ed almost immediately. He had a good idea of what might be wrong and invited me to bring the truck in for an assessment. After inspecting it, he identified damage (caused by rats) to the transmission wiring harness, which had unfortunately caused internal damage. He walked me through everything clearly and provided a very reasonable estimate for a full rebuild. Throughout the entire process, Ed was easy to communicate with, always professional, and genuinely helpful with his advice. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond after the repair. I was told this type damage might be covered under my comprehensive auto insurance. Ed then took the time to work directly with my insurance company--providing detailed documentation and expert insight. Because of his effort and experience, the claim was approved and the repair ended up being fully covered. That level of service is rare these days. I truly appreciate Ed's honesty, professionalism, and follow-through. He did exactly what he said he would do and then some. I wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend him to anyone in need of transmission work.

Well, I was driving on Rockfield after lunch (the Hat is the BOMB!!!) one day and I saw Wheel and Tire connection on the corner and decided to stop by. I currently have a 2008 Mercedes CLK and have been thinking about upgrading the wheels (Mercedes wheels SUCK). So I stop in, they were pretty busy, but managed to speak with Dom. He asked what I wanted to go for, how big, and my budget. After looking at a few displays and looking at some images in the computer and in catalogs I found the perfect rim. He made a few phone calls with a phone on each ear, and found the set I was looking for WITH tires included, much below what I had expected to spend. I was thinking they were going to take a few days or weeks to get there, Dom said everything would be here in within 24 hours!!! I have been to many other wheel places and they said it would take up to a week, but 24 hours!?!?!? c'mon. I asked if there was going to be a rush fee or some hidden charge involved, he said the price I gave is out the door. Then I asked him about what I read about the place on the internet about some guy named Jeff who stole a whole bunch of stuff from a major wheel manufacturer, Dom said that the place is now under new ownership since April. Then I met CJ the new owner, this guy was so cool and down to earth, I felt even more comfortable. I gladly placed my deposit and the very next day, as promised, I got everything installed during my lunch break and was totally satisfied. I would rate this place much higher in stars, but 5 is the max. Wheel and tire connection is totally legit, no matter what anyone says. I ordered 2 new tires on CarID.com they gave me the option on the site to have them shipped to an installer near me and schedule an appointment for installation. I ordered the tires on 10/31 and scheduled the appointment for Saturday 11/5 @11am at Wheel and Tire Connection 51 Auto Center Dr #16, Irvine, CA 92618. I showed up Saturday only to find out they are closed on weekends. Called the shop Monday morning and spoke with Todd, they claim they don't work with CarID and never received any tires from them. He then asked me how much I paid for them and tried to sell me another set of their own tires. Spoke with customer service at CarID and they provided me signature / proof of delivery from Todd who is the store owner and who I spoke with on the phone previously. I called the shop again today at 11am and told Todd the tires were delivered and I had proof of delivery with his signature. He basically told me it wasn't his problem and that they won't install tires that aren't their own because they aren't under warranty. He again claimed he never received them. I asked him to double check and even asked if I can swing by and pick up the tires that I already paid for to have installed elsewhere, he again says they don't have them and to basically F*ck off. The Wheel & Tire connection is holding my tires that I paid for hostage. My two front tires need replaced bad as the wires are already showing and it's dangerous especially with the current rainy conditions on the road, but they don't seem to care. Stay far away from this place and their sleazy sales tactics!!!! read more

Five-Star Review: Exceptional Service and Precision!** I recently brought my 2021 Ford F-150 in for an alignment, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The team here is super friendly, incredibly helpful, and very communicative throughout the entire process. They got me quick in and out without any unnecessary delays. As for the actual work, the precision delivered by the technician was top-notch. Looking at the final readout on **image.png**, they took the time to dial in the front-end geometry perfectly. My caster is incredibly balanced (5.4^\circ left / 5.6^\circ right) for rock-solid highway tracking, cross-camber is negligible, and they split the front toe exactly at 0.10^\circ on both sides. Even the rear thrust angle came out essentially dead zero at -0.01^\circ. The truck drives beautifully, tracks completely straight, and the steering wheel is perfectly centered. What can be sexier than a cute Asian girl driving a cute Scion with contrasting 17" after market rims? Maybe 18s but I had to think about the potholes and relative comfort of my daily ride. So I was attempting to take on that appealing and fantastical image and took a recommendation from my brother-in-law to pay these guys a visit. Being a girl, and not knowing much about wheels, rims, tires and all their varietals I immediately felt intimidated walking into the shop but was put at ease by the friendly helpful service. I told them what I wanted and they found it for me. Dom was super sweet - a real cutie. I got a set of black XXR rims with red lip, 17s and Hankook tires. I had a great experience at Wheel & Tire Company, While driving on the freeway, I ran over an object, and my tire pressure warning light came on. Worried about possible damage, I took my car to them. The staff was super friendly and got to my car right away. They quickly checked everything and gave me the good news that it was just a tire pressure issue--no damage at all. Best of all, they didn't charge me for their service! I really appreciate their honesty and efficiency. I'll definitely be coming back if I ever need tire repairs or service in the future. I visited this place for a full engine replacement in my 2019 VW Tiguan. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, even though I may have overwhelmed them with all the details. Given the magnitude of the job, their patience and assistance were commendable, resulting in my car running better than ever before. Great place to go for all your wheel and tire needs just got my Lexus IS 300 put on some nice Tein lowering springs in alignment for one good deal!!! Friendly staff good prices and great we'll selection this is the place to go if you're ever in Irvine in need of new wheels and tires!! While I was there I was treated nicely got some nice cold water and seem some expensive cars roll through there everything from Mini Coopers to Tundras and even a few Audi R8s!! I had been coming to this tire shop for decades. Even as the ownership changed over the years, I continued to bring my vehicles here. Unfortunately, my last experience was very disappointing. I was sold TPMS sensors that I later found out I didn't need, and I had to return four times to address issues, only to end up reusing my original sensors. Then, when I went to rotate my tires, I found the lug nuts had been tightened to about 160 ft-lbs, which is far beyond normal specifications. After this experience, I won't be returning. read more

Recently, I purchased a Mercedes-AMG C63, and before buying it, I trusted Adel to give me an honest opinion on whether it was a good car to purchase. That level of trust says a lot. After I bought it, he handled the oil change and brakes for a fraction of what the dealership would have charged. I haven't had any major repairs done there yet, so I can't speak to that personally, but based on my experience over the last three years, I wouldn't hesitate to trust V-Tech Automotive with bigger jobs if they came up. If you're looking for an honest, knowledgeable mechanic who does quality work at fair prices, I highly recommend Adel and V-Tech Automotive.

As I was on my way to tow the car to the specialist, Tim called me back and said 'hey, guess what - it's the ECU( um, we already knew this and you said I need to go somewhere else for am ECU specialist). Tim said he had the last ECU new computer in the U.S. on hold. Tim, who said they don't do this type of work just the day before said "It will cost $3350 and we can program it too." Ok. Weird. Just before this conversation with Tim, I talked to 4 ECU Specialists in the area. Only one thought they could fix it and they would only charge $1150 for Parts, labor and programming. Tim suddenly decided they could do it. He can lie with a big smile on his face, sadly. And his boss didn't listen to what actually happened - he interrupted me and was really aggressive. He shut me down saying 'I was going to remove the ignition coils and give you a small, partial refund - but now I won't." Big man..."ladies, beware of these crooked mechanics." Seriously, I would never let these men touch my car ever again. If you want to be drastically overcharged and lied to - and not refunded when they misdiagnose the problem - run! Don't walk away from 'Sh*tty, Service' - oops, I mean 'Super' Service' - what a horrible and stressful experience. These people only care about one thing. Ripping you off. I have filed a BAR report on them. Hopefully they don't get away with fake repairs...I had a previous bad experience with Tim also - he tricked me into signing a doc that they would charge me $150 for diagnostics on the Engine light. There was a host of 'problems amounting to thousands of dollars. I left and got a second opinion. None of those issues were actually wrong with my car. And he wouldn't apply that $150 to my Repairs as promised. He took that money and didn't actually repair a thing. Very salesy 'fake friendly'. Watch out!! I hope businesses like this are quickly replaced by integrity-based, service oriented companies who stand by their word. Please don't let them rip you off too.
