Went with a few friends for lunch at about 11am. The wait was about 25 minutes but after that everything was great. Iced coffee was yummy, service was great and not slow like some reviews. The patio is cute too, only downside is parking. You have to park in the residential area because the parking "lot" only has 3 spaces. Will definitely be back again. read more

Wildflower is one of my neighborhood spots and it's great because my husband and I walk here for brunch occasionally. The food is always consistent - I'm a big fan of the breakfast egg options but I usually order the mango chicken salad. The grilled chicken is never dry and the salads are filling. The crispy chicken salad is delicious as well, but I usually sub for the grilled chicken instead. I love, love their olive bread. Coffees are great and my glass is never empty. read more

Had lunch at this cute little spot in South Redondo last week. Reasonably priced fare; had aaacaesar salad with chicken and penne. Although the penne was extra crispy, almost fried and I didn't recall seeing that specified on the menu. Would have preferred regular al dente cooked penne but it was definitely different. Salad was about $10.....Service was fine. Place was cute, I enjoyed the flowers around the cafe: we sat outside as it was a gorgeous 75 degree So Cal day. Love love loooove this place! It's like a hidden gem. Perfect place to sit outside with your girlfriend(s) to catch up and gossip over a cup of coffee & some brunch. Small place that's very popular, expect to wait for 15-30 minutes on weekends. Service was decent for being so busy. Wildflower Cafe did not live up to my expectations. I came here a little bit before closing time so there was no line. I ordered the wildflower pancakes and you could tell by how hot the center was that they had been microwaved. The pancakes were soggy, flat and looked unfresh. I was very disappointed, especially after reading all the great reviews. I can definitely make waaaaaay better pancakes at home. We also ordered the wildflower omelette which was also pretty bland tasting. The dining environment was very nice, we dined on the patio with a nice ocean breeze. However, the food was not good enough to return to this restaurant. If you are looking for good pancakes and omelettes, I would recommend The Original Pancake house which is just down the street and 10x better quality. read more

This is definitely the breakfast spot when we're trying to treat ourselves. All kinds of breakfasty foods, and the servers were generally on point. The outside seating is nice and the staff are good about getting you into the shade if needed. The wait time can be long though given the small space and the popularity. read more

Love this cafe! Just remember to bring cash or debit, they don't take credit cards. If you're walking along the boardwalk do yourself a favor and skip all the touristy places for breakfast. This cafe has a great selection of yummy egg dishes and pancakes too, much more creative than anything along the water. The service was great too- super friendly and fast to refill your drinks. Don't get me wrong the food here is really good...when you get what you ordered. Just ordered the wildflower club for takeout (supposed to be two layers with turkey, ham, and turkey bacon) but when I got home I had some chicken sandwich. I even paid extra for onions. I'm so disappointed- I had just gotten off a long shift and it's the first meal I was going to eat and it was the wrong item. Hopefully if I decide to come back I will get the right item. The sundried tomato omlete is a great choice for vegetarians who are board of the regular veggie omlete served at most cafés and they offer a choice of gluten-free bread for toast! This is a really cute cafe about a block away from the beach. Most of their seating is outdoors, but they have heaters and seat cushion that makes your dining experience comfy. I got the eggs benedict which was good, but the sauce was very thick and creamy. My friends got omelets which they said was good too, but lacked a little seasoning. This is my absolute favorite place for breakfast in Redondo Beach. The cappuccino is divine. I love the sun dried tomato omelet but have tried almost everything and I am always 100% satisfied. The owner is always there and she is just a lovable woman, the whole staff is great! It is a great locals spot with a friendly atmosphere. I am a Real Estate agent working primarily in Redondo Beach and this restaurant is one of my selling points while selling in this neighborhood.
