They truly live up to their name... trying to figure out which flavor to get out of their 87 offerings was a struggle! I ultimately opted for the garlic mango habanero with waffle fries. The wings were cooked very well. Super juicy on the inside. The mango habanero sauce was tasty, but it was a bit too sweet. I didn't get much habanero heat. The garlic was a nice touch though. The waffle fries were very crispy and had a good seasoning. My eyes are on their garlic buffalo sauce for next time.

Crispy chicken sandwich - 8/10 Mozzarella sticks - 9/10 Buffalo chicken loaded fries - 9/10 Honey lemon pepper wings - 9/10 Lemon pepper - 7/10 Garlic mango habanero - 8/10 Sweet chili - 9/10 Buffalo minc garlic - 9/10 Bbq - 8.5/10 Yes thats right, Wings87 actually has 87 flavors and theyre ALL halal My favorites were the sweet chilli and honey lemon pepper wings All the wings had a lot of flavor and were juicy. I also loved the loaded fries which they recently added to their menu! They have different spice options for most of their flavors, so theres an option for anyone! Definitely check them out if youre in the area!

Great workers and fast to get my food would recommend if it's your first time and they have a lot of selections of different foods

I tried this place for the first time and was disappointed, especially after reading great reviews. My husband and I ordered honey BBQ wings and Buffalo garlic wings, respectively, and asked for them to be extra crispy. Although the wings were juicy and fresh, they lacked flavor and crispiness, which was a letdown. I wish I had opted for Popeyes instead.

My cousin and I saw this place on yelp because we were wanting wings and definitely not from a big-box place. The fact that they have 87 wing flavors (sauces/rubs/dry-seasonings) is AMAZING so there's going to be something for everyone. If you order 14+ wings then you can split up the flavor choices to mix it up. The waffle fries were fresh and amazing too - probably the best I've ever had. It is a small mom & pop place so there's a few bar top seats for you to sit at but I think the AC unit was out so they had an oscillating fan facing the register but not enough air circulation to keep the waiting area cool. (I'm guessing) the owner took our order and she was super sweet and patient as we stared at the list of flavors trying to decide what to get. She let us know it would be about 10ish minutes for everything to be ready - once it was, we hopped back in the truck and enjoyed them in the parking lot.

WINGSTOP WHO?! After being a wingstop fan of many many years and being a huge wing person.. this place is amazing! The prices are super reasonable especially during happy hour. The wings are huge and they sauce it up real nice. The amount of flavors they have is unlimited. This place is very small and could be hard to miss. There isn't a lot of seating inside so i recommend you just do take out. I'm not going to say much bc you just need to come try it out for yourself :)

Ok so I go to the dominos next door waaaaaaayyy too much than I'd ever admit. And recently I've been ordering the wings from there too. But curiosity got the best of me today about this small establishment next door. Upon digging deeper, I noticed a bunch of positive reviews from fellow Elites. And hey look they even had a yelp certificate as a beloved business. So heck yeah, I had to try it. Called in advance and although I didn't qualify for the 65 year old senior discount I did qualify for the Neighbors discount seeing as I only live 1/2 a block away. The small 7 piece comes with either ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce. And the dry rub lemon pepper kinda reminded me of Wing Stop's lemon pepper (which I'm goo goo for) except maybe more lemony and peppery. The wings at Wings 87 look bigger than Wing Stop. So that was a plus. And the staff (maybe owners?) were super nice. All smiles and easy to talk to. I'm a big supporter of mom and pop shops, so will definitely return.

We ordered wings for takeout. They were super nice and helpful on the phone and the order was ready in about 25 minutes. The wings were large in size, and were a bit variable - some were more juicy and some were a bit dry. The boneless ones had an amazing garlic parmesan sauce, but was a bit tough. The buffalo sauce is a bit more of an oil-based sauce, which brings some nice heat, and is different than a typical buffalo sauce.

Walking in i was surprised as how different the vibe was. The DC location is much smaller and more intimate. The Houston location is much more spacious and gives a more upscale vibe. Service was top level from the moment you walk in. Welcomed with a warm smile and taken straight to my table. Waters and menus came right as I was sitting. I started with the Dolmeh, the minced beef was seasoned very well. The pomegranate sauce was a bit strong for my taste buds. My main course was the Lamb Kabob which was spot on to my experience from the DC location. I did notice they were very generous with the raisins in the basmati rice. I did receive a free birthday desert which surprised me. They brought me the Persian ice cream sandwich and it was amazing! I'm looking forward to going back soon.

We arrived at the restaurant and waited for more than 30 minutes while our kids were hungry, and nobody seemed to even look up. After we had bothered the hostess several times that we are waiting to be seated, we were repeatedly told to wait. Finally, after nearly 40 minutes of waiting, we threw in the towel and left. They did not seem to care. The problem with restaurants becoming as popular as this place is that, as the customer base grows, they will care less and less. It seemed to us that they had overbooked the restaurant and were unable to find seating. The food may be good, but if the service is not commensurate with that, there is no point to dining at a place like this. It behooves management to pay attention to how many reservations they take and their ability to honor customers to reserved ahead.

We ordered the Habibi Feast, which is perfect for sharing and gives you a little bit of everything. It came with brisket, turkey, chicken, and sausage--and every protein was cooked to perfection. The brisket was tender with a beautiful smoke ring, the turkey was juicy, and the chicken had a great flavorful crust. For sides, we went with mac and cheese, creamed corn, potato salad, and fried okra. Honestly, all of them hit--especially the creamy mac and cheese and the fried okra, which had a perfect crunch. We also tried the brisket shawarma, and that was a standout. It's a really cool fusion of Texas BBQ and Mediterranean flavors--smoky, saucy, and packed with flavor in every bite. Overall, this spot brings a unique twist to traditional BBQ with its Mediterranean influence. Great food, great service, and a solid atmosphere--definitely a place I'll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you're in Houston and want something different from your usual BBQ spot.

When the waiter returned, he asked if we would like an appetizer, which we declined. He once again, seemed annoyed and took our food order. We were shocked how quickly the food came out, but all of us agreed, the food was phenomenal. Each sauce was perfectly paired for its dish, the lamb chops fell off the bone and wonderful flavors were had at every turn. Upon finishing our meal, the waiter returned to offer us dessert. We had made dessert plans elsewhere, so we declined. Once again, our waiter was very short with us and seemed annoyed. We all left very confused. Our assumption was that the waiter was annoyed because he thought we would not leave a good tip, but the restaurant enforces a 20% service charge on all meals. Now that they've sufficiently blown up around NYC, I was a bit shocked (and excited) to see them finally come to H-Town. What's the verdict? It's good enough to pass muster for NY standards (#1), is open super late, and will likely be my go-to Halal food for the foreseeable future. Since I've only had it in cart form, I'm still a buggin over the fact it's become a franchise. It's similar to my shock of eating Halal Guys at a store for the first time. The digs feel as foreign (prices, large, clean and bright interior) as it does familiar (taste, logo, etc.). Even though I had a laugh seeing the wall photo-mural of a Shah's cart in Times Square, I did appreciate the nod to Ozone Park with the 121st & Liberty street signs. The chicken + lamb combo platter ($12) is and always will be the winner. The lamb had the same kind of seasoning that most Halal spots out here try to replicate but can never get right. The rice was fluffy, and the white sauce was easily the highlight. I can understand why they've decided to bottle it up and sell it as liquid gold. It makes every meal better. Kofta ($12) and chapli ($13) are rarely my favorites, but I knew I had both in platter form. The addition of adding chickpeas and these other salads is not something I'm used to from the carts (#2) but I loved the fact it was drowned in the white sauce with a dash of hot sauce. The latter is supposedly extremely hot, but I didn't find it that spicy. While I have to say the cheeseburger was a bit of a disappointment (overly bready, thin patty), the pakora chips and french fries were fabulous. They were perfectly seasoned, had a nice crisp, and frankly would be an excellent, gut-busting addition to any platter. I don't love the extra charge, but I hope they remain consistent with it. This store location in Westchase along Westheimer is an up and coming part of town. There are numerous Middle Eastern businesses in the adjacent area, along with an abundance of parking spots and a good amount of late night activity. Service was friendly but I do hope they keep their standards up. As time goes on, I'm 100% convinced this will be a destination for the many late night meal seekers and fans of NY nostaligia. __________ (#1) Which automatically supersedes a lot of the ones here in Houston. Just keeping it real. (#2) Is the chickpeas a Houston thing? Genuinely curious.

This is a nicely sized spot next to the Jusgo plaza in Houston Chinatown, so plenty of parking and also food options. It's tucked in a corner but should not be written off. We were provided menus and started ordering everything that sounded good (within reason for 2, sorta). We ended up getting the Uyghur polo with lamb shank, Uyghur goshnaan, korma chop, garlic cucumbers, mint tea, and a yogurt for dessert. This was more than enough food for 2 but I wanted to try a bunch and this is me holding back. The Uyghur goshnaan was very crispy and the filling was flavorful and juicy, good lamb flavor and nice spices. The Uyghur polo with lamb shank was great and the pilaf had a nice sweetness with raisins that cut through some of the fatty richness of the lamb. The korma chop was also super flavorful with a nice savory sauce and noodled with an excellent texture, very QQ. I don't usually order cucumbers at Asian restaurants cause I can make a cucumber salad pretty easily at home but the one here was very good. Excellent refreshing crunch and garlic flavor to go with all the other dishes. The mint tea was also nice to wash down the mountains of food I was inhaling. I also enjoyed the yogurt, it's a thicker yogurt like a Greek yogurt and topped with honey and raisins. Again, a nice sweet/tart treat that didn't feel too heavy after everything else. I definitely need to come back as I didn't even get my big plate chicken but it'll be hard to choose between all the options.
