    Tikka Masala: Pick Your Protein
    Lindsey M.

This is a cute little spot in the Pruneyard that I have been to a couple of times now. Went in today and the service was fast, friendly, and included a discount for wearing green on St. Patrick's Day ! I had the tikka masala bowl, which was flavorful (but lacked even a hint of spice). The concept is a good one, if you think of the flavors as being inspired by their namesake, rather than expecting too much authenticity. Once you do this, it's easier to appreciate the fresh, healthy, delicious bowls and 'wrapps' they offer. Please forgive the terrible picture, the bowl was much more appetizing than it looks after mixing everything together and eating most of it!

It had been a longtime since I'd been to World Wrapps and I'd never been to the one in the Pruneyard before, so it was a nice date night stop with the hubby after perusing Sports Basement for a while. The food menu has changed drastically since the last time I'd been to the one World Wrapps we'd had for forever in Santa Clara by the AMC Mercado theater. We shared the Tikka fries and I got the poke wrap, which was essentially a sushirrito. Everything was delicious. The poke was tasty, the rice in it was soft, and the tikka fries were covered in delicious tikka sauce. All in all, tasty and great, friendly service.

Do not sleep on this fast casual spot for a hearty, healthy, and delicious meal. Firstly, the service here is second to none. They are TRIPPING over themselves to get you whatever you need and to make sure your food is what you wanted. The vegetarian and vegan options are extensive, especially because you are able to mix and match with the various bowls and wraps. Love the Beyond meat option!

Cute store front. Tons of seating indoors and outdoors

Can't believe tho place exists! I used to go to a world wraps in Burlingame a loooong time go, and was shocked to see this at the pruneyard. Such a great menu of options, you can customize your protein, chicken, steak, salmon, and meatless options! Tons of opportunity to customize your meal We got the salmon wrap and patatas bravas! So yummy!

Absolutely delicious Caesar wrap and so filling! Grabbed take out quickly in between meetings when visiting the area and was pleasantly surprised. Food was fast and their menu is extensive. Would love to visit again and try something else!

Ordered: Watermelon aguafresca -a bit watered down. Chicken shawerma bowl -great meat portion and tasted fresh. I rarely finish my salad but I did this time because it was really tasty. Good service, attentive young lady was a cashier, and server was a kind man, brought the food and asked if I needed anything else. Vibe was ok, kinda like Aqui's but quieter. Parking was ok, gets busy around 4pm on weekdays

I enjoyed the chicken shawarma bowl as it came drenched in their sauce. The bowl felt fresh and was just the right portion. Price was not too bad either. Service was good and the ambiance was clean and modern. They had interesting selections including Mexican, Japanese, and Mediterranean options. They also have a kid's menu. There are no restrooms here and only a water dispenser was available. Parking is in the Pruneyard and this restaurant faces the street side.

I had a strong craving for a Caesar chicken wrap and this was my closet option. I've never been to a world wrapp so I gave it a try. Their Caesar wrap is actually pretty good. Big croutons for texture, chicken is thigh meat I think so very tender and pretty flavorful, and the lettuce was fresh. Only critique would be to add more dressing but that's just my preference. My partner got their Thai chicken wrap and it was pretty good as well. The peanut dressing isn't too over powering and all the veggies were fresh. Good ratios between the rice and everything else. I would likely come back for another caesar wrap but add an extra side of dressing.

I would have given this 5 stars if not fir the fact that my husband got food poisoning after eating here. Yeah I still gave it 4 stars:). Don't want to start the new year on a low note! I ordered the tofu chimichurri wrap which was delicious though it needed a bit more sauce. The person who came to check if we liked the food offered one and I chose the garlic aioli. Made it better. Husband got the beyond quesadilla. It was absolutely delicious in taste but I dont know whether it was the mushrooms in it or the beyond meat was not cooked properly which made him sick. Value wise it's amazing as portion sizes are decent to big.

Great fresh food - loved the bowls. I got the bulgogi steak with vegan meat. They customized it for me by skipping rice and adding more salad leaves instead. The aioli and dressing was yummy! Tamago was bit sweet for my liking but overall a great bowl. Love the outdoor seating!

The details: I normally don't eat a lot of meat, so I chose the Falafel Salad. It came with extremely little lettuce, plus a few olives (which I don't eat), onions (which I also eat sparingly), tomatoes, cucumbers, and the falafel balls. Oh! And there was feta cheese, but those were such miniscule pieces, and so few, that I wouldn't have remembered it was supposed to be part of the salad, if I didn't just pull up a photo online with their ordering system. What you see in the photo online is not what you get. The photo actually looks like a salad. Since it was called a salad, I expected there to be more lettuce, than the few pieces on the plate. I mainly was cutting up the cucumber & tomato pieces to go with the falafels. I don't even recall any dressing. There were also some pita slices with what I assumed was hummus. Whatever the dip was, it did not taste good to me at all. So I left all of the pita bread, as well, since it was dry without anything on it. Maybe what I assumed was hummus was a dressing. Hard to know, but it was not tasty. For the $27 I paid at a walk up counter, I would have expected much better food! I have bought frozen falafels at Lunardis (around $7) and made a salad for them at home, and enjoyed it very much, which is why I ordered it. I have purchased Spanakopita at the store many times, (about $5 for around 12 of them at the store) and made them at home, which is why I didn't order that. The falafel salad was not an enjoyable meal for me at Yiassoo's. I'd also seen some reviews from a few years back that said they paid around $10 or $11 for their meal. That is more in-line price-wise with what you get, based upon my meal. With most of the meals around $20 for lunch, I feel they were very over-priced. I also asked my friend if she'd like to split a Baklava. They had a pistachio one & chocolate one. My friend wanted to try the chocolate one, so I bought that. I didn't think I was too into baklava, but thought it might be nice to try at this highly rated Greek restaurant. The main flavor that came through was the honey & nuts. The chocolate was just a tiny, narrow drizzle on top. I didn't hate it, but I would never order it again. My friend took one bite, and said she mainly tasted the honey, and would take it home for her husband. It may be very good baklava, but it was not to our tastes. My friend ordered the Gyro salad. It had a large pile of shaved meat, and she seemed to enjoy it. She ordered it To-Go, as she knew she'd be taking some of it home. She seemed to have more lettuce under her pile of meat than my meal got. Maybe because it was in a To-Go box, which might be larger than the plate? Or maybe the person making my salad just wasn't paying attention to how to make a decent meal. I was hoping I was trying a restaurant that I could go back to for something different. Based upon my experience, I would not go back, if I had a choice. I gave it 3 stars, because maybe other dishes, or people looking to just eat meat or falafel balls and not much else would enjoy it. I only have the 1 meal to review, but it does not encourage me to try it again. Overpriced & not a fulfilling meal.

She told him "okay, hold on" and made him wait almost 10 minutes. She ends up giving the order to the wrong person, and when confronted about it, she wasn't apologetic at all. Her excuse? "I didn't hear what he said, that's why I said to hang on." There was another older woman on expo floor who was extremely rude too. After telling her they gave my order to the wrong person, she looked at the other girl and said "you deal with it" and proceeded to ignore us. She also had the audacity to look at me and say "well we didn't do it on purpose." Again, NOT APOLOGETIC AT ALL nor did they take any accountability for their mistake. Neither of them apologized at all or offered to make things right. They completely ignored us and didn't care that they made a mistake. They had no idea what they were doing on expo. They were mixing up orders and getting confused when packing the containers of food. No matter how good the food may be, the extremely rude service and lack of attention to detail prevents me from ever returning here. If you ever order to go, whether it's in person/over the phone/online pick up, MAKE SURE you have the right order before you leave; if you don't get the right order, they won't care to make it right or acknowledge their mistake in the slightest.

So, I've unfortunately been passing it over. I finally decided to try it out and I was in for a treat. I got the chicken kebab plate as the sandwich board right out side the door suggested, along with a side of fries to go. The fries were crispy with a ting of spice and delicious. But the star of the show was the kebab for sure. Meaty, plump, flavorful, definitely one of the outstanding chicken kebabs in town. Lot of places give you a dry, flaky kebabs but here, it's been cooked to the perfect amount of juiciness. The rice was also butterly and flavorful. Good pita, hummus and the vegetables too. It might feel a little pricey (but everything else is too nowadays), but they give you a nice filling portion. The staffs are very nice and attentive. Clean, fun, colorful interior. I'd love to dine in next time. I'm definitely coming back for more, I want to try the loaded fries wraps, and the kanafeh next time around. The location's and the parking access is not the best, so I really hope Manakish gets all the attraction and attentions it deserves!

I got my usual Beef Koobideh (it was okay, a little bland compared to the persian places I have tried in Los Angeles, NJ, FL, etc...). The beef koobideh was larger than most other places and they gave a lot of rice too (which I like). My son got the Chicken Koobideh, he also thought it was okay... he was indifferent. I tasted a bite of it, it was also less flavorful than I would usually expect. My wife got the Jewel Polo with Steamed Chicken. She was the one with a not happy review, she was telling me that it was unlike any place she had ever tried and was like "All they did was lightly boil the chicken and put it in the tray". I didn't try it because that is not my dish, I only stick with Beef Koobideh anywhere I go. The people working here seemed very friendly, the customers were also very friendly since they seemed to know the workers and helped me flag down the main guy for a question. My review isn't to discourage anyone from this place. It just didn't hit the spot for my wife so I won't be able to give it a second try. As a south asian person, we like our food with lots of flavor and lots of spices... so you might find this place perfect for your palate. My wife kinda forced my hand on the topic, I would not beat them up as harshly (I ate all of my Beef koobideh and enjoyed it, but even left to my own opinion... I'd go back to my usual place for a familiar flavor). I only took one star off because of the feedback from my wife.
