Wow! I learned about this place from Instagram. I was in the area recently and decided to come here. The shop is very spacious, with plenty of tables and chairs both inside and outside. It has a clean, modern aesthetic. We ordered at the kiosk. I got The Best Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and very light sugar. My cousin got the Qilan Oolong Milk Tea with boba and light sugar. While we waited for our drinks, we watched the screen that showed the estimated wait time until our drinks were ready. I thought that was cool. We also watched them brew the tea on an espresso-like machine. I had never seen tea brewed this way. It was very fascinating. The drinks were really good. The tea was very, very fragrant, which I loved. I liked that I could taste more tea than milk. The boba had a good balance of soft and chewy. Ironically enough.. we said "wow" after trying our drinks here. Obviously I had to try their jasmine milk tea if they claim it's the best! Their jasmine tea is sooo fragrant and exactly what I'd expect jasmine to taste like. I love it. If my jasmine milk tea ain't as fragrant as perfume, I don't approve. BUT this one was. And it was just the right amount of not-too-sweet, which I really appreciated. The boba also had perfect texture. I stumbled upon this boba spot by chance, drawn in by the sight of a couple enjoying their drinks, reminded me of my favorite spot when I was in Vancouver. There is only 1 kiosk to order so it might take awhile if there's a rush. The interior of the shop is pretty spacious with lots of seating. You can also enjoy sitting outside since this is such a good location for outdoor seating. I ordered the Qilan Oolong Milk Tea with 100% sweetness and whipped cream topped with pecans and OH MY GOD it did not disappoint. I am obsessed. It exceeded all expectations! The tea was decent and I LOOOOVED the whipped cream they use, but unfortunately the barista seemed to forget the sugar in my drink(?). At least that's what I'm guessing... I ordered 70% sugar, which I thought was a safe bet. My other friends got 70% sugar as well, and their drinks tasted exactly how I wanted mine to taste... but mine literally had NO SUGAR. I got the best Jasmine milk tea and I must say, it was near the BEST Jasmine milk tea I've ever had! The drink and tea itself was extremely fragrant and aromatic. Upon first sip you can already smell the floral sweet scent of jasmine waft from the drink. Then upon hitting the tongue, the liquid was super smooth. I can tell they're really careful in crafting your drinks making sure every hint of your cup is clean and no wet marks are left. white peach matcha - it's decent. It has a slight hint of peach throughout the drink. I feel like you rlly taste the matcha powder throughout your drink, which makes it a bit bitter. Qilan Oolong Exoresso - you can't taste the coffee at all. It's mostly a black milk tea drink with biscoff crackers sprinkled on top. Cloudy Mango - it originally has cheese foam, but I didn't want that in my drink, so I ask the worker to not put it, but why is it still creamy? I though it would be just your usual mango smoothie, but the mango mixed with the cream wasn't that good tbh. The cute blue cups were definitely a factor in me wanting to try Wow tea and I was a bit disappointed when their large size didn't come in the signature blue cups. We ordered the memorable Oolong tea and it was just okay. I wish the tea flavor was a bit stronger, it tasted very diluted to me. I also wish the drink was a bit creamier. The cream on top was super yummy though and I loved how the crushed pecans added a slightly nutty smell/taste to the drink. Incredibly surprising. They didn't come from China, Taiwan, or anywhere in Asia. They came from Davis. And, they're really good! You might not get the same tea quality you'd find in Molly Tea, Chi Cha or HeyTea. But hey, you get pretty damn close dupes. They've got a great jasmine tea. It's fragrant, it's light, but also rich. Same for all their drinks. The lemon tea is lemony, the oolong is bold. They probably just don't have access to the same quality teas. The thing you get here? They're more affordable ($5-6) for an 8/10 milk tea. Plus, they have all the kinds you want (fragrant jasmines, lemon teas, osmanthus and matcha). Impressive quality. read more

Very pleased w/ the 2x I've been here. Staff are extremely friendly and polite and the drinks are made to perfection every single time. It's located to the left of Cafe Lattea, facing the main street, can't miss it. Spacious indoor w/ bar seating and there's a couple of tables outdoor if you want to do that instead. You order drinks from the one kiosk or if you like efficiency, they have it on Snackpass. Their menu changes quite a bit (a bit disappointment), even if it's 5 months ago. What I've ordered so far is the white peach oolong MT (less sweet and less ice) and it's delicious. I wanted to try the same thing w/o the MT but unfortunately, they took it off the menu and unclear on when that'll be back. Their matcha jasmine tornado w/ no additional sugar is also quite delicious. Do expect that when you asked for no additional sugar, it'll taste exactly just that. I'm impressed that the "sweet" option is spot-on, unlike most boba places...and that's something that I can appreciate. Their jasmine green MT is average, pretty standard to most other jasmine MT. The qilan oolong MT is different, but still good nonetheless. All the drinks listed above are either light sweet/no additional sugar and they're perfect just like that. If you're the sweet type, then adjust to your liking but honestly, most boba places are packed w/ syrup and sugar so it's a good thing that there's another boba place that can really nail the customer's request for sweetness. I stopped by today on a weekend afternoon. Plenty of seating inside and out. The wait was quite long; took almost 20 minutes for me to get my drink. The shop didn't feel that busy to be honest, but maybe a reflection of the espresso approach they take towards their tea. I got the oolong tea, and it was really solid. Strong potent tea flavor, and you can tell it's very real, freshly brewed tea. However, whatever milk they use is not as creamy as I wish it was, resulting in a mouthfeel wasn't super smooth. Their pearls are also cooked well; a little soft at first, but with a bit of time, perfectly chewy. The pearls themselves are lacking flavor though. I find really good boba shops have some sweetness in the pearls even if they're not advertised as black sugar pearls, just so that you're not chewing through complete flavorless balls. The lines near grand opening were long, but I don't think you need to wait as much anymore. Still, convenient that you can order ahead. I got the premium black milk tea, 30% sweet with boba. This place uses teapresso, so the tea flavor is pretty strong - I like this, but for folks that like sweeter tea, it might be a little bitter if you don't adjust the sweetness up. No one customers inside a large store. First thing we noticed was how hot it was inside. We ordered from the kiosk: Matcha Jasmine Tornado & Wow Orange Jasmine. Disappointed in the very small selection of milk teas / flavors. The display said it would take 20 minutes for our drinks even though there was no one else there. We had to wait outside in the 90 degree heat because the inside was closer to 100 degrees. The Matcha Jasmine tornado was barely cold and pretty watery. I've visited Wow Tea quite a few times since it opened and have had a wonderful experience every time! Their amazing drinks and service keep me coming back, and it's now one of my favorite boba shops in the Bay Area. Their drinks here are very unique and are made with high quality tea leaves and real milk, which is evident in the taste. At many other boba shops I've visited, oftentimes the drinks are too sweet and I can't really taste the tea flavor, but here... WOW! I can definitely taste the tea flavor, and they make the drinks with the perfect amount of sweetness (I get their recommended 70%). They also make really good cream toppings! A few of my favorite drinks here are: - Peach Oolong Frap (I like to add boba and crushed biscoff cookies) - White Peach Matcha Chap - Qilan Oolong Frap (+ milk pudding) I decided to try some of their snacks as well, and was super impressed. This review is kinda overdue, but last week I was so excited to share WOW tea with my foodie friend and introduce her to the sprinkle toppings (biscoff/oreo/other crumbs that go on top of the drink). Once we started ordering i noticed the menu changed !! They removed sprinkles, now it's one of the toppings that comes with whipped cream. I dont like whipped cream, i find it's too rich, which is why I liked the foam...Their teaspresso is great, i love a good tasting tea. But in my opinion this change in their menu makes this shop less unique... Service and ambience havent changed since my last review, it's a nice place to sit down and work. read more

Instead of waiting in line for the influencers' hyped up place, drive down here. It's only like a mile away. Y'all might not even heard of this place because the influencers didn't get their own event before opening. Wonk! wonk! If they did then they'd probably all post a review before the place even opens. Iykyk Price is very reasonable. There's only ONE cup size. No upgrades. Some drinks come in plastic cups, some in paper cups. The drink that I got came in a nice paper cup, which makes any drink taste better imo. Nice quality lid and the STRAW IS NOT PAPER! It's like those hard biodegradable straws or something. Not sure what it is exactly, but it should please people who loves turtles. I loved how this place has their own unique line of drinks. I got their Coconut Gardenia which also comes with coconut pudding. I thought it was delicious and everything is nicely balanced. The most coconut flavored pudding is here. So if you expect Tong Sui's type of light bland flavor, then this is not it. The employees are nice. Pay attention to the "TIP" part when you order!! There's an auto amount. If I remember correctly, a "tip" page didn't show up during the steps from ordering to check out. I just looked at my order total before paying and noticed the tip. I had to click on the "TIP" to make changes. Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe I missed the page. Overall, this place should have some more attention. The tea here is awful. All of our drinks tasted burnt. I'm told this is supposed to be equivalent to San Chen but it's not even in the same ballpark. Thoroughly disappointed. read more
