If it's packed, they might take about 10-14 min to make your drink. I've tried the iced pistachio latte and the iced Spanish latte, and both are soooo good. Wrigley coffee is the BEST coffee shop in Long Beach if you're looking for a place that has: - speedy wifi - yummy drinks - a lot of space - tons of outlets Best of all, it's basically tucked inside a residential area so I see a lot of the same people (I walk there since its only 10 mins away from my place). The employees are so friendly and Frank is my favorite, he always makes me feel special and memorizes my coffee order and many others. Not only are the workers super nice, I find that everyone is so friendly and have even struck up conversations with strangers who eventually became friends. Parking can be a hassle but there is street parking. Just make sure to read the signs so you don't get a ticket. As for what I get: I get a caramel latte with oatmilk and extra caramel. Every week, my cousin and I try out a new (to us) independent coffee shop in Long Beach. Today we ventured over to the Wrigley District.., We discovered a wonderful community centered shop on Willow Street. In addition serving great coffee and tea beverages, this shop provides a great space for locals to connect. If you have a group that needs a meeting place, they have a private room available. Nothing but good things to say about this place. If you care about good, well sourced, carefully roasted craft coffee served by baristas who take pride in their work, you will be pleased. Their medium roast is a true medium to third wave coffee standards, coffee is sweet, good body, a touch of brightness. Staff went above and beyond, friendly and accommodating, top notch customer service, not much in the realm of variety or options but very solid choices. Labor Day was my 1st time going to Wrigley Coffee to meet friends. Enjoyed an iced matcha latte & noticed the yummy baked goods but didn't partake. Ambiance was cool & laidback. Wrigley coffee is a little hole in the wall coffee shop that packs a punch! First off it's pretty easy to find, has a cute coffee sign on the outside. Parking is a bit difficult as it's in a neighborhood so you might walk for a few houses but you can always find some. The interior is so cute with simple yet beautiful decor. There's even a good amount of seating for groups. Now for the drink selection they offer a number of unique but delicious options that you won't find at many or any other shops. A favorite of mine is the blackberry latte, sounds odd but is so delicious! My most recent visit I got the pistachio latte and let me tell you, it was the hands down the BEST pistachio latte I've ever had. Truly the best. Now for customer service, everyone there is so incredibly friendly and helpful. Liz is outstanding and went above and beyond personally bringing me my drinks and pastries. Wrigley Coffee was one of the most unique experiences we ever had! Their customer service was amazing, feeling welcomed right off the bat, and they were just so helpful. They also had unique flavors that we decided to try... We tried the iced pistachio latte with their in house cold foam, and of course...oat milk. Their homemade foam had a very subtle sweetness to it that didn't overshadow the sweetness from the latte. Their espresso was very strong, just how we liked it and it simply blended perfectly with the sweet, nutty pistachio flavor. We also ordered their Blackberry latte with oat milk, both hot and cold! This drink was so good both ways. Originally we ordered it hot and its tarty taste was delicious, but something told us that iced would have complimented the flavors much better! Thus, we ordered it iced, and it did the drink justice. Just keep in mind that Wrigley makes their drinks strongly caffeinated (which we loved). Wrigley Coffee offered several pastries like Homeboy Bakery and Caffeinated Kitchen doughnuts. So there are plenty of options to choose from. This coffee shop also offers personal study spaces you can rent out, books, and activities like movie nights. Wrigley Coffee is not only good in flavor, but good at putting their customers first. The girl who took my order was very freshly. Anyhow... here's my beef.... I ordered a matcha latte and it was definitely on the lower end of greatest matcha lattes I've ever had. To make it worse, when she handed me the cup, it felt light. I brought it to my seat and opened the lid. And this is how much it was filled. I got the pistachio latte, which I really wanted to like but it was just okay. It wasn't really sweet, but I think the pistachio syrup is just not for me . Definitely a hidden gem in the Wrigs! I got the Spanish latte. Had sweetened condensed milk and tasted like a churro. I love churros! Menu was large, posted on the wall and appeared to be simple with their staple coffee drinks. I saw the Spanish latte listed on the black board near the cashier/ordering station. Possibly their rotation of seasonal or line up of specialty drinks. Don't miss out on these! Also picked up a churro vegan donut. Sooooo moist. A little more dense than a regular deep-fried donut, but the moist texture allowed it to be easily eaten. It kept its shape nicely as I broke off portions to eat. I don't like donuts that can't hold its shape and crumbles when broken off. DOGGIE DONUTS! They had a small serving board with doggie donuts. I took two to go. One for my pooch and one for my sister's fur baby. They loved it! I loved that these pooch donuts looked so cute. Made me want to eat them. No lie. CONFERENCE ROOM. What!?! Yes, there's a conference room for reservation. Love this feature. Appeared to be able to seat six at a table. Good enough for a study group or small meeting group. A glass partition separates this room from the rest of the eating/seating space. It's been a minute since I've stopped in Wrigley, and this place is outstanding. That makes sense given their story: They were founded during the pandemic by City Church of Long Beach to provide support and more economic security to community members in need! That also explains why their branding is so community-centric. when you walk in you're greeted with a bright neon sign that beautifully illustrates the words "But first, community." * All the staff are welcoming and attentive. * Relaxing environment that's conducive for working for long periods (the plants are a wonderful touch, as well) * Spacious building with plenty of seating (and outlets) *Strong, reliable wifi * They have group study rooms! I loved the interior, with the plants hangning from above and the community mural at the end of the store. Bathrooms were very clean. Continuing with the coffee spot circuit, decided to check out Wrigley Coffee. Pulled up and quickly was digging the old school coffee shop vibe, with the corner glass door to enter. Inside opens up to several communal tables and a couple of private rooms you can reserve for business (nice touch). I ordered a white chocolate latte and churro donut. The staff were extremely friendly and brought the drinks to us when they were ready. I had three other people with me who all ordered different drinks (vanilla latte, caramel latte and mocha latte). I have to be honest here, the white chocolate latte was not very good. Two of the people that were with me had a sip also and unfortunately agreed. The churro donut was really good so there was a balance. The other three drinks I was told were good and they would order them again. VISITED: Tuesday (9/20/22) THE EXPERIENCE: I came in early, like close to 8am and loved meeting Riley (barista). I ordered and Riley made my drink right away. There was lite conversation as my drink was being prepared. I love how the coffee shop looks, the spaces for reservations, the Merch... they even have a community board. It's such a cute place.
