Chicken avocado sandwich, Sweet potato fries, Cheese pizza

Last time I had yard house it was years ago and all the way in California, but it was always my favorite as a kid and now I remember why. They do every dish with such refinement and culinary expertise that no matter what you order, you know it'll be good quality. With that in mind, the price is also super reasonable making this a great casual dinner option when you're looking for something a little more upscale while not being overly fancy-- coming here you know you'll still get some nice simple comfort food done well. In addition, the service was so sweet and personable. They were attentive without being overbearing and joyful without pushing it or feeling fake. There's a sense of ease and enjoyment about dining here and I'm so impressed by how the flavors continue to deliver!

Delicious food and wonderful service as always! Tried their Asian style tacos for a change and it was super delicious! The size is quite small for the price, but it still felt filling. I had hoped the side of beans and rice would be a little bigger, but the entire dish was still a decent size. I love trying their fries every time as well, a great side to any dish! Our server was so sweet and checked in pretty often to make sure everything was good. The food was served relatively quickly as well, so overall a great experience!

This location was right across the street from our hotel so we thought we'd give it a try. Fernanda was our waitress ABs she was friendly and did a great job. We had carne asada tacos with beans/rice. The tacos are small and there are three. My husband is an average eater and was still hungry. He rated them a 4/5. I'm a much smaller eater and ordered the grilled chicken with avocado sandwich. It had delicious cherry peppers on it. I thought it was good but the texture of the chicken was a bit weird and it was dry which is why I'd rate it a 3/5. I opted for a house salad instead of fries and it was fresh and good. My husband had the bread pudding and I tasted a bite. We agreed that it wasn't good. It tasted like flavorless soggy bread. That was the only part of the meal that was a huge let down. This restaurant is large and nicely laid out and decorated. I think it would be a nice spot for a casual date night and it was in walking distance to Fenway Park which is what we did after dinner.

The food here is amazing, great service staff anticipating all our needs. Coming by frequently to see if we needed anything. The ambiance is excellent, great for individual table for two to rather large group with some coordination. They do pick-up/take-out as well.

Yard house is the best place to go before a Red Sox game. This is a classic sports bar with lots of seating. It is always super busy, so get there early! The food was good for bar food. The fries were tasty, the chicken sandwich was good, and the nachos were great! All great stuff to split. The drinks are where this place shines. They do huge "half yard" drinks that are definitely worth it! So fun and pretty inexpensive given how big.

    Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Came here on a whim on a Tuesday night, to be honest, expected it to be more crowded. Ordered the chicken lettuce wraps to start, which were decent, though not the best I've had. The tofu or sauce added a mild mushroom flavor, and the wonton cup was difficult to break and was kind of bland. However it was surprisingly super filling! Next I had the grilled chicken avocado burger without Swiss, and the chicken was very juicy (or greasy? Couldn't tell) but had the tiniest bit of avocado ever. My friend got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, said he did not enjoy. The chicken was thick but overly fried and way too greasy- the bottom bun was soaked through. Otherwise our waitress was super attentive and warned us about longer wait times due to new staff training, checked in on our meal, etc. Overall fine experience, unsure if I would come back but is a fine choice since they stay open late!

Game 4 finals has everyone glued to

Yard house is the place to be for the NBA finals Game 4 Celtics! There was a line just to get inside around 7:30 and then we put our name down for a table and they said it could be an hour and half wait! We decided to go hang around the bar - which there was standing room only - at least they have a little counter there so you can order drinks there. We did so and waited and luckily after about 35 minutes our table was ready- whew! TVs everywhere perfect viewing from anywhere in the restaurant. It got really crowded as the game started. The games in a tough spot right now but that perhaps means there might be a game 5 in Boston....who knows! It's only third quarter things could still turnaround. I ordered the spicy jambalaya- my usual order - big portion. It was good and of course I have enough leftovers. The hubs got a burger which he really liked and a friend got the pork burger. For dessert the cheesecake brûlée was really nice - never had one - very creamy with the brûlée crust - yummy! For drinks I had the buzz-free mojito - I figured the whole place was buzzing so I didn't need any more ha ha! The hubs had the Hawaiian mule and friend got a beer (dogfish). Our server Sofia was nice and attentive. Never seen the place this crowded before. Lots of people near the bar and also near the tables. Overall great time at Yard house!

1st time reviewer, long time reader. Came in after visiting the Franklin Zoo with 3 hungry kids in tow and 3 adults in need of a beer on a Friday during the start of their dinner rush. We were not rushed, but taken care of in a timely manner. Questions were answered professionally and honestly (love honest servers). Our food was hot and on point. Crispy and delicious cheese curds (our girls demolished them). Not to mention our server Max was top notch. Gave us some great advice for first time Boston visitors and suggestions on places to visit and was very personable. 10/10 recommend.

Adam was the best bartender ever, and he made our quick stop for a beer and bite fun and worthy of lingering for one more! We arrived pretty much as they opened for lunch and while we had our pick of tables, we opted for the bar so we could take in all the unique and interesting taps up close. Thatsa lottsa taps! Adam made some recommendations, gave us a couple of samples so we could decide and overall helped us navigate the selection until we all found something we liked. All the gmdood we ordered was great. My husband is STILL talking about the wings!

The…read moreweather was great, and it had been a while since we went out visiting, so that's exactly what we did. We decided to grab something to eat while we were there. Wifey said there aren't too many places offering real healthy choices when it comes to eating out, and this is one of her go-to spots. Our son had never tried the food before, and this was only my second visit. The atmosphere was great. Everything was clean, and it wasn't too busy at the time we visited, so ordering our food was pretty quick. We had a few questions about the menu, and every question was answered with patience, grace, and plenty of detail. I also want to give a special shout-out to the manager, Charles. I didn't catch his last name, but I definitely remembered his first because of how welcoming and attentive he was. It's always nice when management takes the time to make sure their guests are enjoying themselves, and Charles helped make our visit that much more enjoyable. Now let's get to the FOOD! I thought the serving sizes were very filling. I had the Hot Honey Chicken Bowl, which came with well-seasoned charred chicken, roasted carrots, charred broccoli with lemon, Jasper Hill mac & cheese, and some type of maple-honey-sriracha sauce on the side. And BOY, was it good! But because apparently I'm never full , I also had a crispy chicken thigh and a piece of Heirloom Blue Cornbread. The cornbread was really good, although I bet it would've been even better served warm. To wash all that down, I had not one, but TWO Ginger Mint Lemonades. And of course, you gotta have dessert! I went with a slice of Lemon Cake and finally washed everything down with a bottle of water. You know...because after all that food, I had to make at least ONE healthy decision. I looked up at my wife and son and noticed they both still had a lot of food left and were already talking about getting to-go bags. I just laughed and said, "While you two were busy talking, I was eating! We ALL said we were hungry... YA DIG!" Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves. Good atmosphere, friendly and helpful service, generous portions, and most importantly, GOOD FOOD. It made an already great day visiting our son in Boston that much better. And once again, shout-out to Charles and the rest of the staff for making us feel welcome. We'll definitely be back!

The menu covers enough ground that finding something worth coming back to is not difficult. The Kale Caesar is the standout order for me and delivers every time, well balanced and filling without feeling heavy afterward. The portions are genuinely generous across the board, and the option to build my own bowl gives me enough flexibility to work with whatever I am in the mood for. The ingredients feel fresh in a way that separates this place from most fast casual options at a similar price point, and the vegan and vegetarian options are substantial enough that they do not feel like afterthoughts tacked onto the menu. The staff at this location are consistently warm and friendly, which makes the whole experience noticeably more pleasant than your average quick service lunch spot. The line moves at a good pace even when it gets busy, which it does during the lunch rush, so arriving slightly outside of peak hours saves me some wait time if I am in a hurry. Seating inside runs on the tighter side and fills up quickly during midday, so coming prepared to eat outside or take it back to the office is worth considering on a busy weekday. Overall it is a dependable, quality option for a fast and genuinely satisfying lunch in the area.

I am disappointed, from the very start to the end my experience was quite bad. The kitchen did not allow a bread substitution for the sandwich we ordered, they did not do waffles at this location either, and when we got our food the portion sizes were very small. The salmon was very overpriced for how much they offered; $27 for a piece of salmon only a few inches across was insulting, but apparently that is just how it is served there (picture below, you can see the pieces of broccoli are almost as big as the fish!) The other dish we got was the chicken sandwich, which is cut into two halves. The first half was normal but there was basically no chicken on the second half of the sandwich, it was essentially all bread. We brought it up to a manager and they got us a new piece of chicken, which fit entirely alongside the old piece of chicken on the bun because it was so small. On top of that we had to wait around nearly half an hour after finishing and had to flag down a waiter to get our check and go. The service overall was very slow. I will never come back to this restaurant.

Swung by this place on a weekday for lunch to avoid the rush - most weekends I pass by this place and the line wraps around the street! Once we sat down, the food was done relatively quickly. However I was very surprised on what we had gotten. Now I admit - I am not a vegetarian. However, I have enjoyed many vegetarian meals and this was quite upsetting. We both got the garlic miso ramen. The ramen was not temperature hot at all. The chili oil was not flavorful. The "soy meat" was simply just mushed tofu with awful texture, and it soaked into the soup and created a pretty unpleasant texture (I took a picture which makes me sad and unappetized). I was unable to finish my bowl. The food combined with the service made for a pretty negative time for me. I really wanted to love it - a place with a full vegetarian menu is amazing for all my friends who have that restriction! Maybe if they tried pan frying the tofu create a better textural experience?
