Went over Mid Day to meet my wife for lunch. Parked in the Mall Parking (Yard House does provide validation) Nice big restaurant with plenty of seating, and TV's showing sports. Menu is prettt diverse and they have a great happy hour(unfortunately I was too early to partake) I ordered some Birria Tacos Vampire Style(cheese crusted shell) and. Moon Time IPA Tacos were flavorful and packed with a tasty Birria along with a tasty Cosome for dipping. The accompanying rice and beans were very flavorful. The beer was a nice refreshing IPA that paired with the Tacos quite well. Service was very quick and I felt well taken care of. I really like the whole ambiance of the place and its always a great hang, be it in a group, or just to watch some sports.
Went on 7/17/2026 and Raven was our server and almost forgot to give her a good review as I told her I would. She came and took our order right away as we were thirsty and hungry. She was very personable and went with the flow as I like to joke a lot with the staff. Hopefully when I come again in the near future she will be there to serve us.
We dined at Yard House after attending my son's graduation at Golden One. The place was packed and we had to wait almost an hour for a table for 7 people. They do not take reservation. Luckily, the service was quick after we sat down and food kept on coming. The only disappointing thing was that they ran out of pizza dough, so we didn't get to try any of the pizza. I was looking forward to the Mushroom Truffle Pizza. We got a bunch of dishes to share. My favorite was the Poke Nachos. Generous portion with extra crispy chips. Tuna was fresh. The sauce was delicious with a mild kick. The avocado and jalapenos made the dish even better. I would also get the Crispy Brussel Sprouts again. It was tossed in a sweet gochujang sauce. Mildly spicy and addicting. The Fried Calamari was also a hit. Nicely fried served with marinara and tartar sauce. A large menu of drinks. I believe it's also a full bar too. Everyone was happy with their wine and beer selection. I had a mango refresher and it was perfect! Great place for large parties. Happy Hours from 3-6 PM with a selection of dishes half off and discount on wine, beer and cocktails.
Absolutely love this spot. If we have family visit from out of town, I'd probably bring them here. Always seems to be a lively atmosphere, especially on Kings game days. Waitstaff are upbeat and outgoing. Food is phenomenal as well. After a series of duds, Yard House feels like a safe bet for a great time.
Stopped by Yard House for happy hour and had a great experience! The service was friendly and attentive, the happy hour deals were definitely worth it, and the drinks were delicious. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there were a few small things that could have been a little better, but overall I'd definitely come back for the drinks, good service, and happy hour specials. Poke nachos are a MUST! The restaurant was dimly lit, not too busy, and overall a nice place to wind down after work.
Thursday night, around 10PM. The hostess at the front misinformed us when we asked if they still were doing Late Night Happy Hour. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, only to find out that regular dine-in Happy Hour (1/2 off select apps & all pizzas, and $2-$4 off discounts on drinks) was Mon-Fri 3-6PM, and the Late Night Happy Hour was only Sun-Wed from 10PM-close. Decided to stay and just order from the full menu which was still available until late, sharing the Chicken Nachos between 3 people. This was massive and loaded with pinto beans, cheddar and Monterey jack cheese, tomatoes, cilantro, onions, guac, sour cream, jalapenos (requested on the side), guajillo chile, chipotle & tomatillo sauces. Tabletop tablet to order and pay. They do validate parking for the DOCO garage though. Next time, if in the area, I would probably try TOM's Watch Bar for late night offerings instead.
First time at Yard House. Came in right before the dinner rush. We were seated immediately. The food was decent. Nothing extraordinary or amazing about it. The drinks were delicious! Definitely a place you want to stop if you want to watch sports and be close to the SAP Center. Chill and laid back.
Great selection of beers on tap and a large food menu but the lacking service killed those positives. We were seated right away and our waiter got our drink orders out pretty quickly then we kinda got ghosted for the remainder of the time. Getting refills was damn near impossible. My husband ordered a beer and we watched it sit on the bar for 10 minutes waiting for someone to grab it and deliver it. We never got checked back up on once our food was delivered and again, took forever to get to go boxes. I had the Cobb salad with chicken, no complaints other than it needed more dressing. The espresso martini was kissing the garnish. And the sliders were super pink. I probably wouldn't come back for food service. Maybe just sit at the bar and have a beer.
The service was friendly, however it took over a hour to get our main dishes. The burger was kinda small, blue cheese crumbles were small & low amount, thank goodness I added pepper jack cheese. It doesn't come with mayo, so I'm glad I added mayo, bbq, aioli sauce on side. The arugula was welted on the burger , I'm not sure how I feel about that tbh, I rather a different type of lettuce. In my opinion they only added the arugula to make the burger sound fancy so they can charge over $25 for it The wings were $20 for 10. They were crispy, large, sticky, and amazing! 10 outta 10! Right amount of glaze and so pretty The Gaelic fries were yummy, the fry portioning was super generous, the seasoning was great, the fries were thick & not greasy. I asked for extra garlic. However they could have been better had there been Parmesan cheese graded over it. So I'll ask for that next time. Fries were 8 outta 10 The lobster/shrimp pasta was absolutely NASTY. If you are seafood/pasta lovers then do not waste your $38 on this soupy, spongy noodle, salty, not enough spinach, couple pieces of tiny mushroom having ass noodles the brown sauce they use it PURE SALT, these noodles taste like the Oriental Manchren Top Ramen noodles ....the picture shows big lobster claws on the pasta..mannnnn we got 1 arm as shown on the picture, and maybe 6 pieces of unseasoned shrimp. This location the water is HARD, so all their sodas and lemonades taste like a**! The music is loud inside, but it's a bar inside so I understand.
I have eaten here before and it's pretty mid so I knew what I was getting into. Today checked in at Yard House at 12:14 PM to watch the World Cup. We completely understood that it was going to be busy and were told the wait for 2 people would be about 30 minutes. We know the staff can't make people leave or perfectly predict wait times, and that's understandable. All I ask is for honest, realistic expectations. After about 45 minutes, I checked on our place in line because I hadn't seen many tables turning over and they said there were still a wait. 1 hour after checking in, I asked another staff member, who told me there were still 15 parties ahead of us. At that point, it was clear we weren't going to get seated anytime soon. Since we came specifically to watch the World Cup, there was no point in standing around missing the game, so we left and watched it at home instead. The most frustrating part was that I didn't receive a text saying our table was ready until 3:05 PM--nearly three hours after we checked in. That shows the original 30-35 minute estimate wasn't even close. If we had simply been told the wait was likely an hour and a half or longer, we could have made an informed decision instead of wasting an hour standing around.
We stopped on for a late lunch and we just made it before the rush of the Ice Skating show. The service was great. Our server was attentive and personable. The food was fresh and hot with such flavor. We enjoyed the onion ring tower because it wasn't overly greasy and the added touch of Parmesan brought it to another level. The breading was light which I appreciated. We shared a stacked turkey club. It was a large enough portion for 2 adults. Their fries are just the right enough crispiness. It became quite busy but not overly noisy
Surprisingly unexpected, something for everyone! Very crowded and busy; lively and spacious. We had to wait for 25 minutes for a table. Server was very friendly and checked in us, refilling our waters and seeing if we needed anything. Great, attentive service. Surprisingly, the menu offers many options that I wouldn't expect but we decided to get some appetizers, first. We had Miguel's Queso and the Parmesan Truffle fries. The queso was so flavorful. The truffle fries were so crispy. Great appetizers! Shortly after, our entrees arrived -- we had the Jambalaya, Lobster Garlic Noodles and Steak Bowl. Portions are so large, very delicious. I ate half of my meal, it was so huge but I enjoyed the meal very much! As it's loud and crowded; with televisions all around; it's a lively spot to hang out and grab a bite to eat. There is something for everyone -- very delicious! Yard House exceeded my expectations; would highly recommend!
The food here is extremely plain and honestly pretty flavorless. I don't eat American food very often, but if this is what it's supposed to represent, then it definitely fits the stereotype--safe, bland, and afraid of seasoning. Everything tasted intentionally toned down, as if strong herbs or bold flavors were avoided altogether. The ingredients felt basic, and the quality did not justify the prices at all. It had been several years since my last visit, and I suggested Yard House for a family lunch mainly because it's convenient for large groups with different preferences. In that sense, it works. We had a party of 8 with no reservations and only waited about 15 minutes. The restaurant wasn't packed and was comfortable enough. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing across the board. The mocktail had a strange bittersweet taste that I didn't enjoy for something non-alcoholic. The onion rings were just bad--soft, barely any texture, and zero crispness, which defeats the entire purpose of onion rings. The sauce didn't help. The garlic noodles were just okay and probably the best thing I had, but even then, they weren't memorable and definitely not worth the price. My husband ordered a burger that sounded great on paper--the ingredients made it seem delicious and worthwhile. Of course, I had to take a bite, and even he agreed with me that it was tasteless. The bacon was soft, the burger itself was nothing special, and despite being hungry, he couldn't dig into it like he normally would because it was so mediocre. Our server was nice but clearly inexperienced--flustered, disorganized, and forgetful (we asked for salt and it never came). Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place if you enjoy flavorful food or like trying new things. This feels like a restaurant for people who are comfortable ordering the same safe items every time and don't mind bland flavors. It's fine if you need a place to sit a large group, but beyond that, there's nothing here that would make me come back. I'd rather go to BJ's Brewhouse next time.

Ambiance Comfortable booths, nice bar. Service Decent Not a big salad eater but when I feel the need for a salad I come here. Cobb Salad Love this salad, the edamame is a nice touch. Added blackened chicken. Carnivore Pizza Generous proteins. Cooked perfectly. Salted Watermelon Margarita Spirit forward and refreshing. Very nice. Food and cocktails excellent overall. The Bad Ordered a large salad with blackened chicken. Got a small salad with grilled chicken. Waited a long time to get the correct salad. Don't know if the disconnect was with waiter or kitchen. 2/2/2024 Friday 6:30pm (PBR night) Came in for some grub and drinks before the PBR event in the golden one center. Very good food and drink, and an amazing location. We had a 15 minute wait @ 6:30pm for a party of 8. We were quoted an hour wait for inside, so we opted for outside as there were heaters and the event was beginning in an hour and 15. A few negatives: Sadly we were given the only table in their outside seating area without a heater. Was a very cold night.. Service was okay. Seemed like they were a bit overwhelmed at many times. Most food items had great presentation, but a few items had awful presentation. No finished glasses or plates were removed from our table during the stay. Not a huge deal to us, but it describes the service fairly well. They had begun using plastic cups after (server mentioned) they had ran out of glasses - and it seems like bussing tables could fix that issue. We had also ordered ranch with our food and it arrived 15 minutes afterwards and we were finished eating at this time. Eric was our server for the evening. He was funny and helpful, but again seemed overwhelmed. Not on the server, but rather the restaurant for not supplying more staff on busy event nights. Food took about 25 minutes from time of order, and drinks took about 15-20 from time of order. - Giant Bavarian pretzel 4.5/5 - Ahi nachos 5/5 - Guava ace 5/5 - Pineapple Express 5/5 - Watermelon margarita 4/5 - Nashville hot chicken sandwich and onion rings 3.5/5 (bad presentation, and had a strange almost bbq-like sweetness to the sauce) - Firecracker shrimp 4.4/5 - Pepper Jack burger 4.25/5 (bad presentation, good taste though!) $372.52 for a party of 8, $46.56 a person avg. before tip. Very challenging review to make as there were so many factors to consider. I feel that we should return on a non event night to see how the food, drink, and service varies from this first trip. We were seated right away upon entrance. Normally when I come here, I'm seated by the windows. This time we were seated by the brewery area which was a nice change from the norm. The music was crystal clear and the atmosphere was just right. Our server Esperanza was extremely friendly and courteous also knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the Crunchy Ahi Salad, Shiitake Garlic Noodles, Calamari, Lemon Pepper Rub Bone-In Chicken Wings and the Vampire Tacos. The food was served heat hot and tasty. Yard House is one of my favorite places for birthday dinners, or random night out, and tonight, we decided to bring the kids so they can experience restaurants around DOCO/Old Sac area. The food menu is impressively diverse -- from shareable appetizers like tower rings (my FAVORITE) and chip and dip. Their servers are always so nice and professional. Today's celebration was for Mothers Day for me. And they are super packed but even so, we only had to wait 20-30 minutes which is not bad for Mothers Day weekend. The chef came out to apologize to us for the wait for the food delivery which I thought was so sweet of him even though we didnt feel like it took long. read more

I love yard house! My favorite thing to do is to come alone and sit at the bar! The whiskey glazed salmon is my favorite! Not your typical bar food.. it's actually good for you and delish! The chicken here is pretty good. The burger was also good, the truffle fries (i think thats what they called) werent that good, kinda hard and not too much flavor. The calamari was pretty good. We came as a group to eat before the 50 Cent concert. Place was packed with people! very clean and tidy, but a bit chaotic. Our waitress took forever to get to our table so we started ordering on the table kiosk... Great deals for Monday Happy Hour. Food was delicious and such a wide variety for happy hour. The only complaint is the Parmesan truffle fries were a bit on the salty side. But all of the other dishes were on point. Drinks were yummy. The coco passion was tasty & reminds me of a pina colada. The smoked pink dragon has a great presentation. Would definitely recommend & return! read more

Worst experience i've encountered out of all of the Yard House locations I've been to throughout California. Service was slow and non attentive for how slow the restaurant was on a Tuesday lunch. My wife's beer glass had old residue from old drinks. No plates were brought out for sharing we had to ask. And when the plates came out they were all stained. Seems like the dishwasher does a horrible job and washing dishes. All the servers and bartenders look miserable. The food was good read more
Yard House is a good place to go to for good drinks and food. I went on a Friday night. It was pretty busy but then there were several events going on in the downtown area. My friend and I waited to about 10 minutes to be seated. Our food came out in a reasonable time. We ordered my favorite the spinach cheese dip ($17.49), the carnivore pizza ($18.99), classic sliders ($15.99), parm truffle fries ($8.49), and a cocktail drink pink dragon (15.79). They have a large selection draft beer. I do wish our server had checked on us more frequently. It's a good place to watch sports, they multiple televisions. They also validate parking! read more

Pretty good. The ambiance was nice, we had fast service, and were seated fast, as well. The waitstaff and hostess were pleasant. The ahi poke nachos were good, slightly salty, but I was happy with it. I ordered the picante margarita and it was a little spicy and the tequila was kicking! The cheesesteak was very good and the Pineapple Express is delicious. Definitely ordering that again. Overall, good experience and great parking location. read more
Went in on a Monday dinner service and it was pretty packed. Plenty of TVs to watch your game and have a nice beer to enjoy. It is pretty loud but it's not too bad. Fortunately, for a party of 2, we didn't have to wait at all. Our waiters were nice and insightful throughout the entire dinner service. We ordered the poke nachos, Korean bbq cheesesteak, and the onion ring tower. I really liked the poke nachos the most because of how fresh the tuna tasted, how the soy garlic/sriracha mayo complimented the overall bite, and also how there was plenty to share. The chips were a bit stale this time around. I was expecting more from the Korean bbq cheesesteak. The bbq didn't have much of a wow factor but it was okay. Nothing special here. The fries were only slightly crispy but still tasted good. The ranch dip felt light in flavor so it didn't help as much. The onion ring tower looked a bit disappointing as they were pretty tiny. Some felt undercooked and overall it lacked flavor. My standards are the Habit's onion rings and so I was a bit let down on these ones. Overall, I'd come back especially for happy hour to get half off appetizers. There's a bunch more I'd like to try! read more
I was seated right away at Yard House where it wasn't too busy. The ambiance is nice and its super spacious restaurant. The servers were nice and good came out quick! Onion Rings: 6/10 some of them were undercooked. The ranch was bland but the other sauce was good. Poke Nachos: 9/10. It was great. Only reason it was docked a point was the chips were stale but the flavor was still amazing and it's half off during happy hour. What a bargain! Korean Cheesesteak Sandwich 6/10. It wasn't bad but wouldn't order it again. You can definitely taste the cheese wiz and the flavor profile was lackluster. The brookie would've tasted good if it was warm but it was very dense and thick. Overall I would definitely come back during happy hour because of the appetizers read more

First timer at a yard house and was quite disappointed. Let's start off with the Shiitake Garlic Noodles was dry and lack more sauce. The noodles were stuck together. The chicken nachos were really good but need a bit more chicken. Enjoyed the red and green sauces.. Carnivore Pizza was good but was not a fan of their bacon-they were really small and tasted like imitation bacon bits. The salmon however was on point. It was not dry at all. Juicy and crispy!!! This dish I would recommend. As far as the cocktails, we enjoyed the salted watermelon but I substituted the salt for Tajin. And their pink dragon was OK. The ambiance was nice and welcoming. But the price tag of $100 for what's pictured in here and that includes a couple happy hour prices--not worth it for me. Also, their water was nasty. It tasted off. We came here for lunch on Mother's Day and it was surprisingly not super busy. I have been to other chain locations and felt this one was considerably louder somehow. I felt like it was difficult to hear one another talk and there was a lot of ambient dishes clinking and muffled chatter. As far as the food goes, we ordered everything from apps to desserts to alcohol and here is my personal rundown: -The onion ring tower - Worth it -Alcoholic drinks - Hit & miss -Fries - the fries were bland and unappealing, even the truffle and garlic fries so if you love fries like I do, I recommend substituting them for a different side dish. -Fontina Vodka Penne - It's a no, even if you love pasta. The vodka gives a strange, almost sweet taste and the chicken serving was ridiculously small. -The steak bowl was fine but the serving is a lot smaller than you would imagine...It would be good if they made it larger and added more rice to the ratio -Sliders - So basic and bland...but some people like that sort of thing. Good for kids maybe. - Korean BBQ Cheesesteak - delicious, flavorful and filling. - Bread Pudding - Sweet and creamy with real vanilla. I think everyone felt their could have been improvement with what was on their plate and especially with the value of what they were served. Our waitress was lovely and everyone we encountered had good customer service. The booth seating was cozy and the bathroom was clean. Ordered a specific drink solely for the smoke effect (forgot what it's called) and it being cute. Went to the restroom quickly so I could come back to see the show. My bf said the bartender puts the drink on the table, smokes it, and then walks off without saying anything to him. The whole reason for the drink is the smoke effect and I told them that I wanted to take a picture. The waiter just smirked and said oops. I don't think he cared too much since he was covering while our waitress was on her lunch break. The burger was good though! read more

We stopped in to Yard House at DOCO for happy hour one Friday and it's just good comfort food and really good drinks! January 2024 Happy Hour is M-F 3-6pm and has a separate menu. We got our drinks and ordered some appetizers. We had a great server and we had a great break in our day. They always have really good beer and I had a really good paloma drink while we were there. We'll come back when we have a bigger appetite for more food! read more
A gem in Sacramento! A restaurant that offers great value, delicious food and drinks, a lively atmosphere, and friendly staff, definitely a place worth visiting often. Consistency in providing enjoyable experiences is key, and this spot ticks all the boxes for me. I stopped by on a Sunday for lunch and surprisingly it wasn't that busy. I was seated at a booth and the waitress was friendly and helpful. I ordered an onion ring tower and a Korean BBQ Cheesesteak with garlic fries. The onion ring tower was really good. the onion rings were crispy and just the right size, not too big like other restaurants. The Korean BBQ cheesesteak was really delicious. It was full of flavors and and a sweet and spicy kick to it. The garlic fries were really good. I would probably come back again when I'm in the area. read more

I like it that they validate garage parking. Crowded but good service. Steak: 3.5/5. The steak itself was tasty. Broccoli was too salty and mashed potato was just ok. Spicy Jambalaya: 3.5/5. Good portion with choice of linguine, brown rice or white rice. All the meat was very salty. read more

Drinks were fabulous I got the passion fruit spritzer ! So good I think it will be my go to drink for now on ! I was in the mood for pizza and as a pizza lover I give it a 7/10! Thin crust easy to fold in half thin like I like it ! Was busy because there was an event at golden one but service was not too busy and in a timely manner ! So I'm coming here for a monster truck show and I'm looking for a place to eat when right out of the parking lot this place catches my eye. Get set down and order a drink and spend like maybe five-ten minutes looking over the menu deciding between some sliders and wings or just a straight up burger. I choose the burger, a two pepper jack. After a while it's brought to my table and it's nice and juicy medium rare as I like, the peppers bring a nice smoke and heat, the jack cheese is good and the fries are brought to the plate in this little mini fryer basket which is honestly adorable. So if I'm ever near Golden One Center again I'm definitely coming back to this place for a bite. Maybe next time I'll get a pizza or something read more

It is standard chain/pub fair. I've enjoyed most of the meals I've had and I really LOVE the poke nachos. The portion size is decent. I'd say give it a try once and even ask the servers what they think of certain meals. If they're luke-warm on…

Hey, Alfrieda! We do not offer our brunch anymore, but we do open at 11am and have brunch items on our regular menu, such as Nashville Hot Chicken, Avocado Toast, mimosas and bloody marys.
Do we need a reservation for happy hour? Coworkers and I want to come, about 8 people.
Although we didn't go during happy hour and did make reservations for our party of 8, the place is huge! You may not need a reservation but I played it safe because I didn't want to get turned away.

What is the parking like in the area?
Park at the multi level parking garage right next to Macy's on 3rd between J and L. It's $4 per hour but Yard House validates for 2 hours. (This garage is different from the small lot underneath Macy's off of L.)
Do you guys validate parking if I park in parking garage?
They give a QR voucher that's good for a few hrs

I don't know for certain but I would guess yes. There is plenty of room and everyone was super nice!
