Went for lunch located in Santana row. Got seated right away by a very friendly hostess. Never been during the day so weird to see it almost empty. Not a beer drinker but love the atmosphere seeing all the pipes overhead pumping the brew. Food was good and large portions. Able to share my plate . Great spot to grab lunch or dinner or even happy hour .
I have been going here since I was a teenager and the consistency has been more or less the same. The food might've been much higher quality back then but overall the interior and service has always been at a good standard. I like the staff's responsiveness to seating especially during busy times. I usually go here for happy hour and get some apps and brews in my system. There is a lot of comfort food options although not the best for you health-wise still hits the spot.
Yard house happy hour has to be one of my favorite places for happy hour. They have a good variety for cheap. Not only is the food good but it's a great place for any sporting event as they have TVs from every angle that there isn't one bad seat in the restaurant. For the happy hour I got the poke nachos and the mushroom pizza. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the pizza. The crust was super light and each bite was packed with flavor. The poke nachos were also a huge hit but I did notices some inconsistencies as some peoples poke nachos seemed to be alot more loaded than ours. However the wonton chips alone on the poke nachos were supper delicious and not too hard where it cuts up your mouth
Such a fun happy hour experience! Half off apps were totally worth it. If there's one thing you HAVE to get it's the chicken nachos. This was MASSIVE and so delicious. I personally also really enjoyed the fried calamari with spicy peppers. the poke nachos, and the lettuce chicken wraps. I would honestly skip on the pepperoni pizza though. They had $2 off beers which made for a great time! Our server was not exactly the most enthusiastic but pretty helpful and let us try lots of beer samples. Ambiance is just like any American restaurant/bar chain you'd stumble across.
Service was 5/5, even on a super busy night with a huge waitlist! Everything came out fresh and fast and our server was knowledgeable and super friendly! The margarita pizza didn't look like the one on their menu - way too cheesy for my liking and lacking tomatoes. The crust was also so puffy in places that it just crusted away so half the pizza was inedible. The beef bowl was surprisingly super tasty - just too salty and lacked rice. It was mostly vegetables, which were still great, but it definitely needs more starch. The chips and guac were fantastic! Warm chips and spicy guac - can't go wrong. Overall just mediocre. Would go again for happy hour.
We ate here on Friday evening. It was crowded and lively, as expected. We were a large party so we had to wait very long, even though we had a reservation. We ordered lobster garlic noodles, which is my absolute favorite meal. There's a perfect amount of garlic so that the noodles don't feel creamy and oily. We also ordered a truffle cheese burger and sweet potato fries. The burger has a typical flavor and the fries portion was small. My group tried the cheese curds and calamari. The calamari was alright. We'd probably skip the cheese curds. Overall, Yard House is a great restaurant. I would come back here if I'm eating with a small group.
We came around 7:30 on a weekday and there was a 10 minute wait, but it was worth it! We enjoyed most of our dishes and the good came out quickly. Taste: We tried a variety of ahi tuna dishes, nachos, chicken wings, brussels sprouts, calamari, and chicken dishes. My personal favorite was anything with tuna. Parking: There's a few parking gathers nearby and the first 2 hours is free. Service: Good
We came here to watch the England vs Mexico game with a group of 9 people. The restaurant was packed and we loved the energy in the restaurant. Service was excellent despite it being such a busy evening. My favorite was the lemon pepper fried wings, the Margherita pizza, and the poke nachos. The fish and chips was also delicious because of the breading on the fish and the fish itself was perfect cooked. We also tried some of their grapefruit beer which I enjoyed immensely and also some of their cocktails with coconut. Overall they exceeded my expectations for both the food, service, and drinks. Excited to return and try their happy hour.
Great ambiance, typically nice and fast service. Unfortunatley, this place is only good for happy hour. If you go on regular hours, the food is over priced especially if you measure the quality to price ratio. Happu hour is a whole diffefent story, you will get the most bang for the buck. They do have a great beer selection, so its a big plus. Also drinking a half yard gives you a better experiemce.
We visited for happy hour on a weekday. Service was fine. We sat at the bar. Ordered two drinks and some food too. Beer, Dragonfruit lemonade, Four cheese dip and Classic sliders. Everything was ok. Menu has lots of choices. It hit the cravings. But inside was a bit unclean. Private lot in mall.
I often go during happy hour which is 3-6pm so most appetizers are half off. Poke nachos are FIRE I eat 2 plates alone :). Don't recommend anything chicken as they tend to be burnt. Service is typically nice and you can order on the tablet so you don't have to flag your waiter down. It can get pretty hectic sometimes but honestly not bad for a quick cheap eat. The place is pretty big and loud.
I usually come here for happy hour since they have amazing deals, but came here around 1pm on a Tuesday for lunch this time and it wasn't busy at all, which made for a nice, relaxed experience. The restaurant has a dimly lit ambiance with a variety of seating options: booths, high-top tables, and bar seating. I was seated in a lower-level booth next to the bar, which felt cozy. I ordered my go-to jambalaya with spicy rice (not spicy for me) and it did not disappoint. It was very flavorful with a generous portion, loaded with shrimp, crawfish, sausage, and chicken. Definitely hit the spot. My friend got the sliders with onion rings and said they were really delicious as well. Service was great. The server was friendly and attentive, checking in on us throughout the meal without being overbearing. Overall, a solid lunch spot and I'd come back again.
I was in town over the past weekend for a race. I came with my partner and a friend. We showed up around 4:30 on a Saturday. Thought we might have a wait, since it looked busy. We were sat down right away. This was my first time here, but the others in my group have been before. The menu is extensive with both food and drinks. If you want options this place has them. The two in my group ordered the pink dragon cocktail, I don't usually drink, but this was so good. I ordered the stacked turkey club, it was ok. I probably wouldn't order it again, but I had a craving and this filled it. We shared the pretzel with cheese and mustard, that was pretty good though. I'd get it again! The service was great, very attentive and she always made sure we had everything we needed. This is a good place to bring people to catch up over some good food. read more

We always receive excellent service when we're at Yard House. I would especially like to shout Avery out for being so awesome!!! He recommended his favorite beers to us and we had to come back the next day for more! Service is outstanding, knocked a star off for the food. Went here at 3pm on a Thursday for their happy hour with my girlfriend. Not busy at all which is great, we got sat down and got drinks. Their menu is very extensive, your server can take your order or you send it through the little tablet at your table. They have a huge alcohol selection, especially beers. I will give a general breakdown, everything was good, they have happy hour deals 3pm - 6pm. Also late at night too! We got one appetizer, a salad (doesn't get offered at happy hour), and dessert (also doesn't get offered at happy hour). The place is very nice for a date, to chill, or watch a sports game. Definitely recommend for their happy hour deals. Could come here with a few friends and have a few drinks. read more
I don't know why people only give Yard House a 4 star but my experiences there (3+ times) doing happy hour is just awesome. They have dozens of different beer on tap for selection. They have many TV screens if you like watching sports. They have big tables if you are partying with friends. They have private corners if you want to chitchat with your BF/GF. Service is decently fast too. When we were there, they brought it the multiple beers and dishes out relatively fast. They have 2 hr free parking in the garage nearby. And $2 for each additional hour. read more

Came here for lunch and luckily it wasn't too packed. This is definitely a nice place to sit around and relax and unwind with friends, family, and etc. The atmosphere is nice, but the service was a bit slow. Parking is also very difficult since it is located in Santana Row. This was my first time at Yardhouse and the food was a bit underwhelming with only a few hits and a few mediocre dishes. For food, my table ordered the Poke Nachos, Lobster Garlic Noodles, Onion Ring Tower, BBQ Chicken Pizza, and the Ahi Crunchy Tuna Salad. We also ordered margaritas and mock tails, which, I got the Pina Spritz. Hits: * The Poke Nachos were good. The sauce was sweet and savory. I think the flavors go very well with each other and the fish tasted fresh as well. * Pina Spritz Mocktail is really good. It's very refreshing from the pineapple juice. Definitely try if you like fruity drinks. * Lobster Garlic Noodles were decent. I liked the noodles as it was soft. The lobster and shrimp it came with was good but I found it to be a bit bland. Average: * Onion Ring Tower was okay. I feel like you can never go wrong with them if you're looking for a fried appetizer. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it as much as it seemed a bit over cooked so the outer fried batter was very hard. * BBQ Chicken Pizza was okay. I didn't enjoy it as much. I found the sauce and the pizza to be very bland. * Ahi Crunchy Tuna Salad was okay. The Ahi tuna pieces were okay, but the salad wasn't very enjoyable. It came with a sort of soy vinaigrette but I still found it to be bland and could have used a better sauce. Final Verdict: Solid 3/5. I think it is a nice place to stop by occasionally, but I found a few of the food dishes to be very mediocre. A lot of the dishes were very bland. read more
After walking through Westfield Valley, an appetite was worked up. We crossed the street and decided to stop in here. The hostess staff greeted us upon entering and welcomed us in. We were able to be seated immediately. Our sever continued the pleasantries at the table. Having never been to the restaurant before, he took time to explain some of the popular selections on the menu and ask if there were any questions. Our expectations for service was as much as you'd expect, which was pretty good considering you just flag someone down that was walking around the bar to serve you. The beer selection was simply too much. Covering the full gamut of what kinds of beer or drink you could ask for. The happy hour food menu, also fairly robust. Went in on a Sunday afternoon. The place was packed because there was a football game. The place was very loud. The wait for walk ins was 40min. Good thing we joined the waitlist from home we only had to wait about 20min. The service was fast despite it being sooo busy and full. The food was great very good quality. I enjoyed my food very much. My favorite plate was the hummus. Highly recommend getting it. read more

Yard House isn't much different than any American restaurant franchise but I still enjoyed my experience. The servers are always welcoming and do their best to serve you as soon as possible. it's always packed in the evenings but I had no problem with finding a seat at the bar except having to wait a few minutes until a sports game was over. The food is satisfying and comes in portions that fill you up. I shared the sliders with my friend and it made us a bit too full to finish our main courses, but I enjoyed the rest of the meal the next day reheated. read more

I have been coming here for so many years, it's crazy to see how much this restaurant has evolved. Yard house has become a staple on my rotating list for late night drinks and snacks. The service here can be a hit or miss, but it also depends on how busy they are. Most of the time, the staff here are amazing and so attentive. The restaurant itself is quite large in space and though it can be noisy at times, the vibes are pretty fun and high energy. OKAY THE FOOD & DRINKS: (okay they're mainly appetizers but hear me out) * Buffalo wings- yes, I know, classic and a bit cliche but I genuinely enjoy how crispy their wings come out. Definitely my top 3 appetizers. * Calamari- a staple if you're coming for drinks/ happy hour. The calamari just pairs well and is so yummy * Sliders - again, a little basic, but just PAIRS SO WELL WITH DRINKS * Strawberry mojito- i absolutely LOVE and destroy these. They're super refreshing and gives you a fun little buzz * Malibu Peach - super YUM. I love this drink, if you only want one drink that's sweet and refreshing, this is probably your best bet. read more

The menu is diverse, with elevated bar food and other entrees, and their beer selection is vast. My only experience here is sitting at the bar, but the bartenders have always been super friendly and helpful. read more

Nice spot to watch games. It was packed because of warriors playoffs but we were still seated right away. Food was pretty good. Had the firecracker shrimp. It has a crispy rice cake under the shrimp. It was loud because of the game. There was a little scuffle with some people at a table nearby. Someone had a little too much but friends took him outside and there were no more issues. read more

Great food and place to watch sports. Just like BJ or Lazydog or Chilis. Similar types of food. Great place to hang out with friends and family to enjoy a meal. Service is friendly though the food does take a while to come out just like BJs. Took about 30 mins for food to come out to the table. And the restaurant was just 1/3 full. The margarita pizza was pretty tasty. The crust was more on the doughy side for being a thin crust pizza. The burger was consider a dry burger with no lettuce or tomato which was definitely a little odd. I can see no onions or pickles. But really no lettuce or tomato. And you have to request for it on the side. That was interesting. Overall the place was large with lots of tables but the wait times can get long during major sports events or dinner read more

Yardhouse is always consistent with their food and drinks! Service is great, unless it's very busy which is very often especially with the prime location of Santana Row. Their portion size is very big and usually plates can be shared between two people. Love the ambiance as everyone around is always chatting and the lighting makes the conversations more intimate. read more

We go here to watch sports games. We're not big beer drinkers, but they can make a solid ranch water. This time was interesting because I ordered the blackened Ahi sashimi appetizer. Had a decent good flavor because the sauce. It was a little thick and salty with a liquid wasabi design. The tuna was somewhat thick pieces and big. Nearly 2"X 1"size. I had to cut them in half. Overall however it was super low-grade tuna. Each piece had a tough strand that was not edible. I had to pull it off in order to eat the rest of the piece. I'd say skip this unless I just ended up with the bad batch. Not enough ginger and accompanied by cherry tomatoes sliced in half and radish and some cilantro. It just seemed like a left over thrown together. read more

This review is for the happy hour experience. My party of 2 was seated promptly and had a booth to ourselves. We ordered the poke nachos, chicken nachos, and 2 cocktails. Both nacho dishes were flavorful and a lot of food. The tuna on the poke nachos tasted fresh, and there was enough of it to go around. The chicken nachos were especially large, we could have ordered just that. The nachos have a red salsa poured over the chips along with the cheese, and I appreciated the extra flavor. It also comes with guacamole. I had the grapefruit Paloma, which was refreshing and a little bitter, not too sweet. This place has an elevated sports bar feeling to it, it is cozy but can be a little loud. This didn't bother me but something to note depending on the type of experience you want. I would recommend coming here for happy hour, the food is tasty with generous portions at a great price. However, the happy hour drink prices will add up so would not recommend if you are looking more for affordable drinks. read more

Yard house is the best spot for happy hour!! The prices are unbeatable and the food is delicious every single time. Walked right in yesterday around 4PM and there was no wait which was great. The hosts are always so friendly and quick to get us seated. The ambiance here is dim but lively. Happy hour is from 3PM to 6PM and consists of so many options from their menu. Some of my favorites include the poke nachos, sliders, and the shiitake garlic noodles which aren't included in happy hour but was still only around $12. It came out be around $29 for all three delicious meals. The portion sizes were just right and were perfect for the three of us. The crème brulee cheesecake is also to die for. The caramel on top mixes perfectly with the cheesecake. Overall, the service we had was okay. We had to wait for a while to get any refills. But nothing that would stop me from dining in again! Went here for the happy hour and wow~ Cannot beat the price here! A friend and I came during happy hour and it was packed so we had to wait about 45 minutes for a seat but it was worth it. We ordered cheese bites, nachos, a pizza, chicken bites, sliders, a beer, and lemonade for a total of 68 dollars including tip.... Food was good, and the service was acceptable for it being so busy. read more

Can't go wrong with poké whether it's the nachos or the salad. Spicy and sweet. Although I do wish the wonton chips weren't cooked too much. Borderline being burned. But still, it is Always a go to when I go here. Mango mojito is good. Service is ok. It can get pretty loud here but it makes it fun when watching a sports game. read more
Tried the Korean Cheesesteak and [Mac + Cheese]2 for the first time. We also had the Truffle Cheeseburger. Truffle Cheeseburger is still so good and still one of the best burgers I've had. The Korean Cheesesteak meat was just like Bulgogi meat, on the sweeter side. It also had kimchi which really helped cut through the sweetness of the meat with the slightly spiciness and sour flavor. All these topped with cheese and sandwiched in a crumb crusted toasty bread roll. Good but just ok for me. The Mac + Cheese was pretty good. The truffle and bacon really made it special. The truffle, bacon and cheese just complemented each other. Yum! Good fried calamari. Love how they serve it with both tartart sauce and cocktail sauce. Bread pudding for dessert was also good with lots of vanilla flavor. Lots of bechamel and a scoop of vanilla ice cream but somehow not so sweet. Food came out quickly, nice staff, good service overall. read more

I came here on Valentine's. It was worth the wait the food was so good the steak was so juicy and flavorful as well as the potatoes, they were very well made and creamy inside, which was nice had a lot of seating as well as a bar also staff was very kind and service over all was great with host and waiters. read more

It was very packed when my friends and I went in for dinner on a Saturday evening. Luckily, despite us being a group of ten, we were seated in less than ten minutes. The servers were nice and polite, checking up on us once in a while to see how we were doing and asking if we needed anything. Since we ordered so much food and drinks, I'll just review some of the items I've tried, including my own entree and drink: - ahi tuna crunchy salad (5/5): the salad was savory, crunchy, and almost juicy. The raw tuna itself was okay, but I guess it's an acquired taste. - dragon fruit cosmo (5/5): right amount of fruitiness and bitterness. Definitely would recommend this. Some of what my friends ordered: - espresso martini (5/5): This was my first time trying coffee with vodka. Honestly, I love it, even if it's very strong in terms of bitterness (and alcohol content? My friend, who ordered it, immediately became tipsy after drinking half of the martini). - lobster garlic noodles (4.5/5): I really like it. It's savory and filling. - Brussels sprouts (4.5/5): This dish gave me hope that vegetables can taste delicious, even without the side sauces. - onion ring tower (3/5): It's just onion rings. Nothing special about the taste or quality. There's boba shops and fast food restaurants that can serve better onion rings (sorry...) - truffled mushroom pizza (5/5): Omg, it was so delicious. There was so much cheese to the point where it stretched every time I took a bite. There was also sauce on top that helped amplify the taste. Next time, I'll order this myself and try to gobble the entire pizza up. read more
