I don't usually review Yogurtlands too often because I go to too many. But, this location one is superior to most other Yogurtlands I've been to recently so it deserves a review. The inside is very spacious, there's a lot of room unlike some Yogurtlands where it's really cramped and when it's busy, it's hard to get samples, get yogurt and get toppings. Everything is super clean and organized. The toppings bar is PERFECT. NO crumbs anywhere. Every single fruit is perfectly cut and fresh. The cheesecake bits weren't clumped together like I see at some other Yogurtlands. Also, this Yogurtland had red bean and lychee jelly for toppings!!! As a huge fan of self-serve fro-yo, this chain was an easy way to my heart. Love the fact that they are located in my two homes - Manhattan, and southern California - and is coming to my third home, Berkeley, CA, shortly. The yogurt itself is of mediocre quality - it's a bit icy (rather than creamy), but the sheer number of flavors and toppings is enough for me to sacrifice a bit of the quality. There's an impressive number of tart yogurt flavors to appease my boyfriend. In fact, this chain offers more tart flavors than I've ever seen (like pineapple tart, mango tart...). Plus, they have non-tart and no sugar added options. Priced at 50 cents a pound, it's also decently affordable if you don't go crazy with heavier toppings. What can I say? I thought the location might work against it, but it seems to be doing fine. I sometimes dine at Tava a couple doors down and always grab some refreshing yogurt afterwards. I found it a little surprising that the bathroom doesn't have a mirror, but it's understandable since punk ass kids love to tag and scratch up any property not theirs. So I used to be a store manager for a yogurt shop in the late 80s. Yeah, that's when some of you who are reading this were born. So if by some remote chance, you are always craving for yogurt, like Yogurtland, perhaps I've sold some to yo mama. I have tried applying with their corporate office for a job but no dice. As for this location, this place is the one I often go to. I believe it is Korean owned. It is always clean, the flavors always change, and its always been consistent. Pretty good, Yogurtland! Couldn't decide amongst 5 of the flavors (original, blueberry, pineapple/guava, mango and red velvet), and just did the sensible thing and got all 5, with no toppings (you didn't have toffee, Yogurtland. No like.) which resulted in 4 dollars worth of just yogurt. But you make me happy. I wouldn't have even considered the red velvet (I'm partial to fruity sorbets and tarts) if it wasn't for the fact that it was a "fan favorite" but it was pretty good. Is it me or are most Yogurtland's placed in locations where the parking lot is horribly arranged? This one is no exception. Located in a mini plaza that only has a handful of other businesses it seems dead, but there's always somewhere to park even though plenty of cars don't know how to. Came because of the Sanrio and Yogurtland collab.They had limited edition Hello Kitty spoons. I'm such a sucker, I know. Try the caramel almond bar it seriously tastes like you are biting into candy. Yum! Tasted the Dragon Passion Tart and it was awesome! Their yogurts are always always good in my opinion especially the New York Cheesecake. The only downside to this place is that for a line that looped inside they only had one cashier. ONE. C'mon now... It's Friday night... you should know better. read more

The sign outside the store says they close at 8:30 and it says that online too but l went today at 8pm and the small Latino male basically laughed at me and locked the door. I went in earlier this month and was the only customer. The manager was speaking to one of the employees. I asked for bananas and she said that they don't have any, kind of rudely. I asked if I could check out then and she acted like I was inconveniencing her and interrupting her discussion with employee. When I checked out she did not ask if it was here or to go and walked away before my card could even finish the transaction. I had to ask for the receipt. She had to walk back and seemed inconvenienced by me asking for it. She did not ask me for here or to go. When I looked at the receipt I realized that she charge me automatically for dine in which included tax that I should have never been charged. Without the receipt I would have never known. I contacted corporate to let them know and they sent me coupons. I went in last night to use them and was met with more attitude and awful service. They again did not have bananas as the sign states but when I went to use the coupons, I was told they do not accept them but they would let me use it this time. I told him that the coupons say "Good at all locations" and that I got them from corporate. I told him I have 3 more and asked if it would be an issue using them going forward. He again argued with me that they do not accept the coupons so when I said I could contact corporate to let them know, he said "Fine! Go ahead!" and then mumbled something about the manager. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a Yogurtland and do not feel they as a franchise are deserving of representing the brand. This is a regular stop for desert on every trip to Artesia. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The toppings are great and the frozen yogurt is delicious. Parking can be a pain in the small lot during peak lunch/dinner hours due to the other restaurants in this strip mall. Love this place and will be back every time I am in Artesia. read more

This is probably my favorite yogurt place EVER. They have a lot of flavors to choose from and it tastes so good!! They have two sizes which is basically regular and large. They charge by the pound so the sizes do matter. You can mix and match yogurt flavors so you are able to get all your favorite flavors! They also have a variety of toppings to add onto your yogurt bowl. Their toppings are amazing! I totally recommend this place! It is only getting a 4 star because it was dirty. read more

"Did these kids forget that Guppy Teahouse is open until 1AM? It's barely 10PM, what the hell is going on here? Why is the parking lot so full? Why are there under-age kids dancing and tail-gating in the parking lot?" I've been to Yogurtland and prefer them over Pinkberry for their variety, the lack of loud, inappropriate electronic music (you walk in and PB tries way too hard to be trendy, i.e.: music, decor, etc), and the fact that you are in control of your own destiny...you control the amount of yogurt as well as the flavors in your cup, so if it's too big/small or you end up hating the peanut butter flavor, that's all your fault... However, I am NOT a fan of this Yogurtland...I went there last night (Wednesday night) with a lady friend and the parking lot was NUTS! We were able to spot the one available parking spot, the rest were all filled with lowered Hondas and AzN B-Boys battling...WTF, are we extras on Fast & Furious 5? What year is this? Did we end up at Guppy?, Where the hell am I? Walking in...the line was unreasonably long...there were literally 25+ people in line. We walked out and grabbed a coffee next door... I know there isn't much nightlife in the Cerritos area, but still, WTF? You need a bigger place, another location, a competitor in the area, something...it was such a horrible experience, we left and I doubt I'd ever go back to this location. The girl was on a mission.... a mission to pop my "Froyo-Cherry".. Yes, that is right.. I NEVER had Froyo up until Yogurtland (approximately 2 weeks ago). We made our way to Yogurtland.... I heard many great stories about this place, a lot better than Pinkberry supposedly. So we go in and bam, this place was PACKED. I didn't know how it worked, so confused.... I was told to just get anything and in the end they just weigh it and charge by the weight... cool. So I get the Chocolate and Peanut Butter froyo with a crap load of stuff on top... cheesecake bites, brownie bites, nuts, etc.... The result... Bomb. Mmmmm good stuff. I guess I've been missing out.. This is by far the nicest, most maintained Yogurtland - Frozen Yogurt - hell, culinary establishment that I've ever been to. Could it be because it was 10 in the fucking morning? I don't know. What I DO know, is that I was NOT afraid of germs here. The layout was really modern at this location and it was really spacious. The entrance is (oddly enough) at the end of the line where you would check out... weird. Whatever, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where to start with your yogurt endeavor. Tanner P. and I went on an epic search and failed 5 times before finally finding this gem. Yogurtland has always been my favourite frozen yogurt establishment out of all the other businesses I've experienced, so I was pleased that we ended up at one of my familiar yogurt hauses. The staff barely spoke English, but I don't even care. They were friendly and supportive of my yogurt needs. The toppings were all extremely fresh and organized. This location in particular had some fancy toppings that I had never seen or even HEARD of going on yogurt before: Cheesecake bites, Chocolate covered power berries (açai, blueberry, raspberry and pomegranate), LYCHEE!?! Wow, my pants are nearly off at this point. $16 ounces of yogurt and a cured hangover later, I am utterly impressed. read more

I love this location because there's plenty of parking, its super clean, and the service is top notch. And they are serving red velvet froyo here. This Yogurtland GETS *PACKED* at night. Apparently, Misha Barton has come to this location before and there is a stalker picture of her ordering from this location on the wall of the establishment. I don't even know if she knows they took a picture of her in this location because it looks like it's from a security camera or something. The funniest moment I had here was when this lady in front of me was trying to get Blueberry Tart. Except... they were out. But she had this strong-willed determination to get as much remaining from the empty tank by furiously jamming the handle up and down like there was no tomorrow, as with each ten jams of the handle like a millimeter of Blueberry Tart would come out. I guess I could have handed it to her due to her tenacity and luckily it was the last self serve machine or else she would have totally held up the line, but it was still annoying to watch. Fruit isn't very fresh here, but the yogurt is ok. It's clean enough. That's all I basically have to say. :P read more

i've been to 3 yogurtlands so far and this is by far my least favorite. the beginning of the self-serve line is obviously not in the right place because everyone enters through the parking lot in the back, not from the street... which means you have to trek through every table in the store before you can get to the beginning of the line. i don't know, maybe this location is trying out the "boomerang effect" for marketing... making you stare at everyone eating their delicious yogurt before you can actually get to the line. i noticed some seats were a bit dirty (see exhibit A, picture). nice seating area outside for those warm summer nights to talk over froyo. at the end of the line i noticed ghiradelli chocolate/caramel syrup pumps, definitely a plus for those who loves chocolate toppings. read more

This Yogurtland is fairly new with the only occupied building in the plaza. This location can be hard to find since there isn't a clear sign at the intersection. They have a variety of flavors such as chocolate, coffee, peach, blueberry, strawberry, apple, cheesecake, and your standard tart. A decent selection of flavors along with toppings (fruit, cereal, brownie, cookie dough, caramel, chocolate, and strawberry syrup), but not nearly as extensive as the Irvine location. I also noticed while dispensing the yogurt it sometimes tended to be watery right when it came out, which was not very cool at all. Overall I'm liking the fact that its practically spotless and not nearly as crowded as other locations. However, make sure to put on your protective glasses before entering the girls room because of the blinding pink walls that surround the toilet. =/ Yogurtland, I heart you! *MUAH* read more

The yogurt here is too creamy and the flavors too fake. I'm a firm believer in a select few, simple, and quality flavors. If you really want to get something like "Chocolate Twilight," do yourself a favor and go grab yourself a proper Haagen Dazs. The fruit toppings could be better, too... usually it's too underripe. The cleanest yogurtland ever! As soon as you walk in, they give you a plastic glove and cup.. it's not left out for you to grab on your own which is so awesome!
