Good little sandwich spot near Ocean Beach. Originally wanted to hit up Devil's Tooth but the line was just too long. Ain't nobody got time for that. Ended up trying this place across the street. Parking wise. It is right next to ocean beach. There is plenty of parking if you go out. There are around 3 tables inside and chairs by the bar. Foremost, this is a more of order to go kind of place. I had the Murphy which was a bagel with sausage, ham, bacon and eggs. I was overwhelmed, but in a good way. This breakfast sandwich was huge! This tied me over well into the afternoon. We've been going to this cafe for years and it's always been great. I'm not sure if there was an ownership change or what, but things have gone down hill. I've always loved the sandwiches here but there's been a decline. The service is terrible, I went in yesterday and there were two people working. Neither one acknowledged the growing line of people for a good 10-15 minutes. A simple, "Someone will be right with you..." would have been appreciated. One guy was slicing meat and prepping food, and one guy was in the back making what turned out to be a Dubai cup, it took him almost 15 minutes to make it and come to take the next order. While I waited I looked around and noticed how dirty the place is, the tables had food underneath and on top of them. There was a dirty apron on the floor and things stacked up. Customer service was awful, no apology for waiting so long. To top it off their payment system was down. Sad to see this once solid cafe go down hill. It seems they are more focused on the expensive Acai and Dubai cups now. read more

I love this place! It's absolutely hip groovy, folks are dope, and the food is stellar! Average cost is like $10 and restroom is all the way in the back. There are 2, 4 tops up front and 1, 2 top. The hall has a bar like seating and fits about 4 people. I've tried the beast mode, the bbq chicken and am about to have the tuna melt! I live this spot and I artistic feel to it! They also have cbd chocolate and great drinks in there fridge! Definitely a great go to spot if you're in the area! Sorry to say it will be my last time stopping by because of the rude unprofessional staff that is there when the owner is not present. I ordered a tuna melt and the price says ,$9.99 and I was charged $10.99. I was not only overcharged but the cashier and person preparing the sandwich were rude. The sandwich was a disappointment. They put all condiments on a plain tuna melt which is gross. Sadly the sandwich was soggy and with mustard yuk. I really do not recommend this place. Sadly, the owner is great but a new staff is needed. 0 stars for the staff. Even though I don't live in the Sunset District, I spent a considerable amount of time here as several family members lived here and being a Mustang alumni, I've left my imprints here. Since moving out of the city, it's been a while since I've hung out in the Sunset and I feel neutral to see that it's also evolving and changing....just like every other neighborhood in the City. Whether it's good or bad depending on which side of the fence you stand from. I still long for the gold ole days, but at the same time if you don't change or adapt, you get left behind. Several weekends ago, Wifey decided to get some beignets at Devil's Teeth Bakery on Noriega Street and that line was long, even on a lazy Sunday morning. While waiting in line, I couldn't help but notice this place from across the street so I decided to mosey on over and see what they had to offer. Curiosity got the best of me and I said eff it and got in line while checking the menu. I was texting the Wifey and telling her I was getting a sammich and I asked her if she wanted something from here. Of course she initially said no, until it was time for me to place my order when she texted me back as she changed her mind as her timing is always impeccable. I got the Yonkers signature sammich (pastrami, gouda and avocado) while Wifey chose the Murphy's Breakfast sammich (2 sausages, egg, ham, bacon, cheese, tomato, mayo and lettuce) both on Dutch Crunch. The guy at the counter was friendly and professional as I told him it was my first time and to take it easy on me. He granted my wish as I waited on their expert hands to create something wonderful from fresh and tasty ingredients. Long story short, we drove to Lands End to enjoy the view and began unwrapping these massive, toasty, warm and aromatic torpedo-shaped Goliaths. As we uncovered these babies, there were a lot of glances and stares from people passing by with a look in their eyes filled with envy. Some asked where we got them from and I happily obliged and directed them to the proper direction so they could travel on their vessels so they too can obtain what they lust for. They must've been convinced as every bite had me feeling like Mark Wiens' foodgasm reaction from his Youtube channel. I stopped by Yonkers for the first time while my friend waited in the line at Noriega Market and I was so happily surprised. During the crisis only two people are allowed inside at a time but the two staff members working were being fast and efficient. There were about 5 people in front of me but I only waited a few mins to order. I got one of the sonny's special sandwiches on sourdough bread and it was AMAZING. It was supposed to have prosciutto but they were out so they added bacon instead and I was NOT mad at all. The flavors were amazing and everything else was perfectly balanced.
