I am so flippin excited that they are finally here! I love Yoshinoya. I grew up on beef bowls when I lived in the valley. I have been here a few times since they have opened up now, and I can honestly say that this is the best Yoshinoya I have ever been to. The service is quick and efficient. The cashiers are all super nice as well. I can hardly finish filling my cup at the soda fountain before they call my number. The quality of food at this particular location is the best I have had out of any of the other locations, hands down. I usually order the large beef bowl with veggies and a side of teriyaki sauce. Every other location I have been to uses frozen veggies. This location uses fresh steamed vegetables. Its highly worth the price. The worse yoshinoya we've ever had. The portions were small compared to what we usually get plus it was messy and just over all nasty $30 waste of money we had three combo plates. Wow. The prices are ridiculous out here. $9.44 for a combo bowl. They charge you extra for original beef ($1.25) and for extra teriyaki ($0.77) on the side. It used to never be like that. The yoshinoya down below the combo bowls are $7.99 and they will not charge you for original beef or extra sauce on the side. I won't be supporting the yoshinoya in Palmdale or Lancaster any longer. Last time I ate here I was pregnant . I craved cabbage all the time and this was my go to place for it. Forward to 2 years I came in today to try the shrimp. I got the big portion to share with my child and it seems that they are a little stingy with their meats and shrimp. Overall the food was delicious the veggies are to die for. They really need to work on their portions. Her daddy got the chicken and he said the same thing that there wasn't enough chicken. Rice was cooked to perfection nice and fluffy. I was visiting family in Lancaster and saw a line outside of this Yoshinoya. I was wondering what was all the commotion about and found out that it was the store opening. Decided to check it out and had a great time. I've been to other Yoshinoyas before but this probably had the best meat and chicken I've ever had (I got the combo bowl). It was extremely busy and the line was out the door, but the employees did a great job keeping up with the orders, keeping the store clean, and serving great food. This Yoshinoya is ridiculous... came in to buy my family's meal all the employees said we don't take swipe cards... the cashier and the other employee said we can't take it because our card reader is broken for the swiping feature... I told her she could input the card manually, to which she responded no we can't the machine won't let us. I asked for the manager, she came out and basically repeated the same thing the other to employees said then said the owner said we aren't allowed so her employees lied to the customers.... so basically she tried to tell me that the owner of the restaurant was to cheap to replace the card reader from chase.... so don't waste your time going to this establishment rude employees and the machines don't work. read more

Where to start? This place is awful! First of all, for a Japanese restaurant, this place doesn't have hardly anything Japanese. The menu is painful (tilapia?, orange chicken?). Worse is that it is filthy dirty. The walls are marked with holes and filth. The young lady at the counter kept getting our order wrong and seemed very timid and mostly mumbled. When I reported to the manager that my order was wrong and asked her to correct it, she said it would just be easier to give me a refund as they were closing soon and didn't want to have to remake the order. I lived in Japan for 4 years and I had tried Yoshinoya there. I love rice bowls in general, so when I heard Yoshinoya was coming to Lancaster I was thrilled. My boyfriend insisted I try it, so we went for lunch one day. I got the chicken bowl. It was absolutely terrible. I have had better microwave lunches. The sauce was really sweet and the vegetables were not properly cooked. I expected the rice to be really well made, but I was even dispointed with that. The only thing I somewhat enjoyed was the gyoza, but they didn't even have gyoza sauce. I will not be going back here again. read more

I have always enjoyed Yoshinoya. It's comfort food. I always have a problem deciding between chicken teriyaki or beef. So I just order the combo plate which has both meats, steamed veggies, and rice.
