This location deserves 10/10 overall rating!!!! I drove here on a raining night trying to support more local biz here in the Los Angeles/North Hollywood area because the other day, I went to a different Yoshinoya location in Los Angeles, CA to fetch me some lunch and that customer service was topnotch there in providing me with reasonable prorations of all beef and extra juice on the side!!!! It's been a long time since I had anything 'Yoshinoya,' but I don't understand why most of these restaurants' ratings are so low on Yelp at 2 stars?! The ones I went to have been at least 3 stars or more, and I've enjoyed my take out experiences. Restroom was kept extremely clean, but you need to be a customer to utilize the restroom: after purchasing a meal, you can ask the clerk for restroom code to get in. That makes sense, or else they would be cleaning after the restroom all day long!!!!! W2G, 'Yoshinoya,' of NoHo, CA., you had me at hello and I'll be back!!!!

Most Yoshinoya's are the same where ever you go, but the difference between them are the service, cleanliness and the amount of food that you get. This place is as average as it gets, Cashier was fairly nice a helpful. Dining area was clean. The only negative thing about this place is the parking, the lot is small and is shared by three other businesses. Street parking is your only other option and that fills up pretty quickly as well. Pretty decent meal for lunch or dinner.....if you can find parking. 3 stars for an A-ok restaurant.

This is THE MOST DISGUSTING THING I've ever experienced omg. I order 2 large bowl meals one with all beef and one with chicken and beef, my bowl of beef had a long nasty black her tangled in the beef, the worst part is that I didn't find out until I pulled out of my mouth. My mothers was the chicken beef bowl and when she started eating the beef she found ANOTHER TANGLED HAIR IN THE BEEF!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable! 2 plates 2 hairs in the beef, clearly they're not wearing the proper uniform, this is not a COVID ready place at all be careful everyone! And to top it all off I paid almost $60 dollars for 2 meals at Yoshinoya? Nope not worth it!

Hair found in food. Manager refused to address issue with staff unless I drove all the way back to store. ‍

PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! 4.8…read more Hatch is located on the ground level of The Bloc, an open-air shopping center in downtown Los Angeles. The restaurant offers outdoor seating overlooking the lovely green turf and provides tall heaters for cooler evenings. My husband made lunch reservations here and told me it was just a quick 10-15 minute walk from our hotel, The Ritz-Carlton. We crossed a few intersections to get there, and it was well worth the walk. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming host. The ambiance is light and airy, featuring high ceilings, light-colored walls, and light wood furnishings. The overall aesthetic is clean, modern, and very inviting. We stopped in for a late lunch and ordered the "Eggcellent Lunch" prix fixe, which included the following: *Tuna Tataki Handroll ~ seared wild caught tuna, tomato & shallot salsa, rayu chili oil, ponzu, micro cilantro *Seaweed Salad ~ w/minced garlic. Served alongside the Tuna Tataki Handroll *Squid Ink Karaage ~ 2-day brined fried chicken thighs, squid ink, house pickles, grilled lime, black garlic ranch *Chicken Breast Skewer ~ char siu marinade, black sesame *Bacon Shishito Skewer ~ applewood smoked bacon *Chicken Meatball Skewer ~ sous vide egg yolk & tare dip Bottom line, everything had visual appeal and was packed with flavor! If we lived locally, we would definitely return for dinner. I have no doubt the rest of the menu would be just as tasty, and I can only imagine the restaurant coming alive in the evening with a lively crowd, happy diners, and a well-stocked bar.

Freshly made udon. Nothing goes better than this…read more My second time here. And this time we tried the duck udon and sea urchins udon. Both are excellent. The sea urchins one is creamy and VERY RICH. The cream sauce bend in really well with the sea urchins. But definitely not something you would order if you are on a weaker stomach. The duck udon is flavorful with plenty of meat. The soup pair perfectly with the udon as well. There was a line outside before it opened. But not too bad. Udon noodles were good, but it was not excellent. It did have light chewy texture. BUT in comparison to Meiji Seimen, it fell short, really short! I was disappointed. BEEF BOWL It was delicious! Beef was tender and moist and loved the caramelized onion too. Rice was delicious too, not dry nor mushy. Served with pickled red ginger. A very satisfying bowl. Sat at the bar, so watched them make udon from scratch, which was nice. WAIT LIST There was a line when I got there, just as it opened. It wasn't long, but everyone wrote their name down on a wait list. There's a sheet of paper placed on the table outside. Please write your name down ASAP, as that will help in making sure that you will grab a seat. Also, the lines are disorganized too, so it's best to write down your name, so no one cuts in front of you. It is a small restaurant. Limited seats. CUSTOMER SERVICE It was okay. Everyone got in the restaurant in the order they came in. Service was quick and there were no delays in taking orders. The server came by quickly and dropped off the check as she saw that I was nearly finished with my meal. PARKING Parked at Joe's Autoparks. It was $15! I did not know until after I paid the ticket. Very difficult to find parking in this area, so not many options unless you want to walk really far, back to your car in 90 degree heat. There was another parking garage next to Joe's, but the price was the same! Would I come back again? Not sure. Given that the udon wasn't what I expected, it may be my last time here. Also, parking sucks.

It was one of those meals that makes you stare out the car window afterward and quietly reevaluate your decision-making process. The portions were so small that I briefly wondered if the rest of my order was still being prepared somewhere. The food itself was impressively bland, achieving the culinary equivalent of white noise. The eel, beef, and tempura all somehow united under a single flavor profile: "present." Service wasn't bad enough to be memorable and wasn't good enough to be noteworthy. It simply existed, much like the atmosphere, which felt less like a restaurant and more like a waiting room where food occasionally appears. The entire experience left me with a very specific kind of regret. Not normal buyer's remorse--more like the feeling of realizing ten years later that you chose the wrong career path, moved to the wrong city, and spent three years dating someone whose personality was "sent from my iPhone." I've made mistakes in life. I've ignored warning signs. I've taken wrong turns. Spending almost $40 on this meal felt like all of those moments condensed into a single bento box. On the bright side, the meal was over quickly. Mostly because there wasn't much of it. 2 out of 5 stars. A valuable reminder that not every journey is about the destination. Sometimes it's about learning which Japanese restaurants to avoid next time.

We did consider ordering something like dessert (but weren't too keen on the menu) in the short time we were there as a courtesy but it felt very forced and in hindsight would have taken too much time. It just didn't feel warm or friendly at all. Same vibes from hotel staff too (it's inside the Garden Suite Hotel which makes parking slightly easier compared to the rest of the area). We may still return to book an event but to be completely honest I'm not personally inclined to visit again after this experience.

I can't believe it's been 12 years--and I'm so happy to say it was every bit as incredible as I remembered. My friend and I came for lunch. I ordered the vegetable pho, and she had the curry rice. Both dishes were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, comforting, and beautifully prepared. Honestly, I wish we had more time because we had another appointment downtown. I would have loved to try more dishes and definitely dessert! Our server was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional. He checked on us at just the right moments without ever feeling intrusive. The service was as impressive as the food. The restaurant has such a warm, relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the beautiful ceramic water cups with bird designs--they were so unique and charming. Even the water tasted wonderful! I'm thrilled that Au Lac is still thriving after all these years. If anything, the food tasted even better than I remembered. I certainly won't wait another 12 years before coming back. In fact, I was so impressed that I convinced my husband to come with me next Saturday for dinner! I've tried many vegan restaurants over the years, and Au Lac remains my absolute favorite. My favorite on the Westside is Variable Café, but if you're willing to drive a little farther, Au Lac is on another level. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Whether you're vegan or not, this place is truly outstanding. Five stars without hesitation!

The Asian gentleman with a crew cut/short hair was the rudest waiter I've ever experienced. My friend and I got there at 12:30PM before a show at the Walt Disney Concert Hall on Sunday at 2 PM- it took 20 minutes for them to take our order. We let them know that we had a show to go to and to just bring the food as it was ready. It took 45 minutes for our first dish to arrive. INSANE, WHEN THE RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY AND DEAD. Then we heard the Asian waiter telling off the other table next to us who was also going to the same show at Walt Disney Concert Hall. They came earlier than us, ordered first and still didn't even get their dishes before us. They told him to take it off the bill if the food didn't come in time since they didn't have time to eat it. I was shocked to hear the rude waiter telling that table "You should have told us that you were going to a show and that you were in a hurry".. WTF, like in this economy- we're paying to go to a sit-down restaurant to get treated like garbage??? My friend and I barely had time to eat and we took our leftovers. This was the first time I tipped 15% in YEARS and I wish I tipped nothing. We asked for bags since they just gave us boxes and then as we left He had the AUDACITY TO SAY "JUST SO YOU KNOW, WE'RE NOT A FAST PACED CASUAL RESTAURANT" IT'S INSANE THAT YOU GUYS CANT EVEN DO LUNCH ON AN EMPTY SUNDAY WITHIN 2 HOURS. Go here, if you have nothing to do and want to get treated like garbage. I will never go here ever again. Maybe they just get business since this is the only vegan option in the area. Thank you for ruining a lovely Sunday afternoon because we couldn't even enjoy the show, all I could remember was how rude and smug that Asian waiter was. Please close this business. I'm shocked that Gordon Ramsay didn't show up to say that he was shooting this place for Kitchen Nightmares.
