I dont know why this resturant has been rated blow 4 stars, I went to there last week and everything was perfect! sushi were fresh, springroll were crisp! they took your empty plates very quickly and food were tasty! I will visit again to grab my lunch there!

It's a decent enough buffet for the price. I was here for a quick lunch on a quiet weekday. Food was pretty decent about what you expected with American Chinese food. Some of the dishes are better than others, I particular enjoyed the cha siu pork, most of the veggie like bok choy and string beans. I thought the seafood like the fish and shrimp weren't that great, even after frying didn't cover up the lack of freshness. The sushi were decent but nothing exciting. It was nice that they still have fruits and desserts though. I tried the melons and dragonfruit and had no complaints on the quality. I mean for $12 lunch buffet its about what I expected. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Overall definitely a good choice for a quick buffet if you're in the mood for it.

For the low, LOW price of $14 for a sushi buffet, I am in love with this place. They even had salmon and tuna sashimi which had great texture. Quality on par with what I've had at other AYCE places (ie Yamato's). It goes fast though so you have to get it quickly before it runs out. I had lowered expectations for the sushi knowing it was a buffet but I am impressed. Almost all the rolls were great. Overall it's a fairly small place with not a huge selection of food, but all the food I had was appetizing and they had 6 flavors of ice cream which I appreciated.. LoL. You get what you pay for and I'd say it's definitely worth it. Also, some of the one-star reviews for this place are bonkers. If you're expecting five-star sushi and service with custom rolls catering to allergies, maybe don't choose a $14 buffet. Wish I lived closer, because I would be coming here all the time.

Honestly, for $14 + $2 for a seltzer this is hands down best lunch stop if you're staying at the 4 points airport hotel. Screw the hotel. Screw McDonalds. Screw UNO (which was closed for maintenance and the hours not updated). This place hit the spot, was quick for me to get to my meeting, service was nice, food was good, and options. Underrated and people need to know!

This is my family's go to sushi place because truly for the price, the sushi can't be beat. Their sashimi and rice are always so fresh and the servers are very sweet. Sometimes they are overworked so it may take a little time for food to arrive if it's packed but overall they try their best to accommodate. There's plenty of seating is inside, nothing fancy, but it works :)

    The buffet.

I don't know who these people are that are complaining about a 'small' buffet. It kind of feels like they are either shills or have an axe to grind. I included a picture of the buffet so you can judge for yourself; as I have seen truly small buffets with only 4-5 dishes. Maybe these people think every buffet is supposed to be Golden Corral. In any case, the food is of good quality. I wouldn't call it great, but for the price it IS a great value. I would recommend this place to any hungry person on a budget, or not.

I was disappointed that they were not operating the buffet for lunch, But I saw the Makimono special on the menu, three rolls for $10.99. So I stayed instead of getting something to go. I was very pleasantly surprised at how generous the rolls were. A little rice and a lot of filling, and not the other way around. Pictured here, left to right is the Crazy Maki, tuna and avocado, and spicy tuna. The Crazy Maki is tempura shrimp and avocado with a spicy sauce. They were all delicious and again the amount of filling was very satisfying. So it was a great price for what I got, and I will definitely be back!

Spicy tuna maki, fried chicken wings, and Singapore mei fun.

I am so glad Yutaka reopened! They no longer have the buffet, but they are open for takeout and dine-in from their takeout menu. The food was plentiful and decently priced. I hope one day they can reopen their buffet but until then I will be ordering takeout from them in an effort to support Yutaka!

    Buffet Food

went during dinner service( 6pm) food was definitely fresh and hot but didn't really taste as good. The workers will stare at you when your eating , kinda made me uncomfortable. Cheap food.

**NOTE: Review is for a weekend night dinner! ** This place I find is a rare gem of a buffet. I've been to many in the Boston area and this place wins in regards to value. While it's your typical Chinese buffet, I find the selection quite wide and varied compared to most Chinese buffets. In addition to this, the food is frequently replenished and quite tasty! The sushi selection is also decent (and includes hand rolls too!) which is something I find unexpected for a Chinese buffet. However, the best part is without a doubt the price. For a weekend dinner, the cost is a mere $14.99 per person. To me that's incredible especially since they had crawfish and seafood options when I was here tonight! 5/5 would recommend!

Ask the Community - Yutaka Buffet

Today is 9/16/24. Are there still crab legs and crawfish as an option at the buffet? And if so is there butter? I'm trying to find a good buffet w crawfish and snow crab legs. Haven't tried either but I'm DYING to try them. Thanks!

I have never seen crab legs there in the 5 or 10 years that I've been frequenting this location however they do have crawfish constantly.

I always worry that…read moretraditional flavors will be toned down to appeal to a broader audience, so I walked into Yume Ga Arukara with a little hesitation. Those concerns disappeared almost immediately. Looking around the dining room, I noticed many of the customers were of Asian descent, which gave me confidence that I was in the right place. I grabbed a seat at the counter, and it ended up being the best seat in the house. Watching the cooks prepare each bowl from scratch was fascinating. They hand-cut the udon noodles, cooked every component to order, and assembled each bowl with incredible care. It felt like dinner and a show all in one. On a rainy Boston afternoon, the Spicy Hot Niku Udon with an onsen egg was exactly what I needed. The broth was deeply flavorful, with rich dried fish and beef notes that tasted comforting without being overwhelming. The thinly sliced beef was tender and perfectly cooked, while the freshly made udon noodles were the star of the bowl. They were silky, smooth, and wonderfully chewy. The tempura flakes added a satisfying salty crunch that contrasted nicely with the soft noodles. The star of the dish, onsen egg, stole the show. The white part had an almost custard-like texture and the yolk was rich and creamy, blending effortlessly into the broth to make every bite even more luxurious. My only suggestion would be to offer sliced jalapeños as an optional side garnish. As a Korean who grew up enjoying spicy foods, I found myself wanting just a little more heat. I understand that Japanese cuisine typically isn't as fiery, but having the option to add fresh jalapeños would have taken an already excellent bowl to the next level for my personal taste.

The nori was a bit soggy when I got my hand rolls (not inedible but not the best), the fish was fine, everything was fine but a bit salty and not particularly exciting or innovative. I've been to better hand roll places (Mr. Tuna in Portland for example) where the rolls are served immediately which results in a better texture, and the flavors are more innovative and the seafood is more varied. The cocktails had no alcohol that I could detect and were all about $20. Flavors were fine but again not exciting. The wasabi margarita just seemed like a regular margarita to me, but with less tequila than a margarita usually has. I should note that when I visited they were out 50% of the fish options on the menu and 90% of the entrees were also unavailable so I wasn't able to taste as much as I would have liked.

I am always surprised at how full I am when I leave! I'm stuffed every time. There is complementary miso soup with all of the bowls I've tried, outlined below. I really loved all of the bowls I've tried but my favorites are probably the Sake Aisuru Don and Kuromon Don. I just prefer more salmon to more tuna though, and they're all very good! Food: - Sake Aisuru Don: their classic all-salmon bowl! I loved the larger cuts of salmon, and I was pleasantly surprised that even the more pulverized salmon was flavorful! - Kuromon Don: loved the yellowtail in this! Each fish comes with two pieces (except the mackerel for which there are four), and I liked the sampler style for the salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and izumidai. - Maguro Toro Don: so much tuna! And all such high quality. The otoro was so fatty that it practically melted in my mouth without chewing. - Sake Maguro Hamachi Don: a mix of salmon, blue fin tuna, and yellowtail. I liked the yellowtail in this a lot and found that it stood out the most from the other two fish in this particular bowl!
