    Buckwheat noodle

If you want to have the best tasting soondae, you've got to go to Abbaee Wang Soondae. It's a small restaurant but the food is authentic and delicious. My party loved the buckwheat noodle, spicy jokbal, gamjatang, and bossam! They were so good too but the chapsal soondae was our favorite. If you order online through DoorDash, even for pick up, the price is almost 2x the price. Call the restaurant directly to order a pickup for the menu price.

The restaurant is located in a small retail shopping center, but the accessibility isn't ideal due to its position at a busy intersection. The atmosphere could definitely use some improvement--a few food photos were simply propped up against the wall near the entrance, and the reception area felt a bit chaotic. Overall, the space didn't feel particularly warm or inviting for customers. We ordered takeout, and while the 순대국 (blood sausage soup) was excellent and tasted authentic, the 모듬순대 (assorted blood sausages) with three different types was a bit disappointing. The 왕순대 (large sausage) had a slightly chewy skin, and the others felt too moist, lacking the right texture. It felt like it was just 2% short of being great.

Small Korean place that's kinda cozy but super casual. Lots of people coming in and out for pickup orders, which makes it hard to enjoy dining in tbh. Gets pretty busy at the counter! Been here twice for their soondae (Korean blood sausage). The assorted soondae plate is really good - nice chewy texture and they make it fresh. Love how they add veggies! Also tried their spicy pork Makchang but wasn't a fan. The sauce was too sweet and the pork smell was slightly off. Parking's easy since it's in a small strip mall. Will definitely order their Soondae again!

If you're on the hunt for authentic Korean cuisine, this unassuming Soondae spot is an absolute gem. Atmosphere: Nothing fancy, just a cozy spot with ample seating. Perfect for a chill meal with friends. Food: The Soondae is the real deal--packed with authentic flavors. Sides like kimchi and ggakdugi complement it well. One of the rare places to offer gogi soondae on top of your traditional chapssal soondae so it's truly an experience. They also gave us a free side of soup as well as service! Service: Friendly and efficient, the staff here knows their Soondae inside out. Similar service one would get at any immigrant-owned place. Value: Reasonable prices for the quality and quantity you receive. You won't break the bank here, which is a welcome surprise considering the authenticity and flavor-packed offerings.

The perfect mom and pop shop for soondae. I find it really hard to come across good authentic soondae shops, however, I will always be coming back here. I have been coming to this shop since childhood, and they have never failed to impress me with their amazing quality and great service. Such a great place to go especially during the colder months, as it is such a heartwarming dish. They have a large variety on their menu, and many side dishes that come with each dish. I highly recommend the chapssal soondae!!

Abbaee's was a decent grab of korean food. They specialize in soondae, but also serve up some other menu items like cold noodles (which was okay). I recommend buying the staple item of a restaurant that has the name of the menu on it (soondae). Parking is plentiful, seating is plentiful!

Jokbal - Large Size (already ate a few slices before taking the pic) loved every bite

This is a good place to go when you want to satisfy your craving for some jokbal. Any korean living in oc knows it's kind of hard to find a decent place that sells good jokbal. I'd say Abbaee Wang Soondae is an acception. Try it!

The jokbal was not as fresh as it used to be in old days. It was dried off and cold and I had to reheat it on my own.

They offer valet parking at the entrance, along with additional parking around the corner. Since this place gets very busy, I'd recommend arriving early to avoid a long wait. This is a great spot for large groups and celebrations. The menu is designed for family-style dining, so you can order several dishes to share with everyone at the table, or you can order an individual entrée if that's more your style. Despite the packed dining room, the service was quick and attentive. Our food came out surprisingly fast, and the staff kept everything running smoothly throughout our meal. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Combined with the lively atmosphere and efficient service, it's easy to see why this restaurant has become such a popular destination. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. The kimchi, kkakdugi (radish kimchi), and gat kimchi are absolutely delicious. I heard that the owner makes everything in-house, and you can really tell how much care and skill go into the food. The staff are also incredibly kind and welcoming every time I visit. Galbitang (Beef Short Rib Soup) - This is honestly the best galbitang I've had in both OC and LA. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef is always fresh and tender. Whenever I'm craving galbitang in the OC/LA area, this is the only place I go. Yukgaejang (Spicy Beef Soup) - The amount of ingredients they give you is amazing. I've had it both dining in and as takeout, and it's consistently delicious every single time. It's perfectly seasoned, and has just the right level of spice. As much as I love the galbitang, I think I actually enjoy the yukgaejang even more. Pork Cutlet (Donkatsu) - This place is known for its galbitang and seolleongtang, so I wasn't expecting much from the donkatsu... but why is it this good? The cabbage salad dressing that comes on the side is seriously addictive. The portion size is huge, there's no way I could finish it by myself. It has the crispy texture of Japanese katsu, while still having a great pork flavor of its own. I honestly think this could be considered one of their signature dishes. If you're looking for authentic Korean comfort food with generous portions and warm service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely keep coming back!

I love that you order off their kiosk which is conveniently located at the table already. The staff was quick to bring out the banchan. To start, we shared their leek pancake and pork blood sausage. For my lunch I went with their cold noodles since it was a cold day. The people I came with had some pork spare ribs, which came with rice and bone knee soup. And a bibimbap. The leek pancake was the best thing there. The pork blood sausage was more of rice noodles rolled up with pork blood flavored. I can't imagine it being much portion. Eveything else was bland which we all agreed to. For my cold noodles I added plenty of vinegar and mustard but it was not it. Still lacked flavor. Also it only had half a boiled egg and two verythin slices of beef. The pork was over cooked, dry, and lacked flavor. The bibimbap was also bland even with their red sauce. We we were all disappointed. The pricing is affordable. The staff was nice and quick. They made sure to check up on us. Parking here is a tough even though it was a weekday. Their lot was full and you can park next door but by the dental office but that was also full. We waited a little and eventually found parking. The restaurant is very casual, clean and spacious. This was just really meh to me.

I love that they give you a choice of instant noodles or kalguksu for free with the combo!! I love that their intestines come already cooked, so you don't have to wait for them. It's not fatty at all, since all the fat has been cooked down. Normally not a fan of small intestines since they can be grainy, but they taste really good at King Chang. The abomasum can get a little chewy if you leave them on the stone plate for too long, so make sure to eat them first or take them off the heat later on.
