My go to spot for a refreshing and healthy Acai bowl. This is a great alternative for breakfast, especially on a warm morning. They also have delicious savory pastries like the Coxinha, or the one with added cream cheese. Both have shredded chicken inside and are like a bite-size empanada. They do also have empanadas, along with cheese bread, and banana bread. My usual order is the Tahiti Bowl, which has all the fruits you should be having every day, over a frozen Acai sorbet base, and honey drizzled on top. But the best day to go is on National Acai Bowl Day every April 6th. If you're one of the first few who make it in dancing through the front door, you get a free one! Don't forget to mark your calendars, and sign up for their occasion deals and updates.

Overall I recommend this place, especially for açai bowls and since that's what they're marketing themselves as I'm sticking with 4 stars. The baked food is probably 3.5 stars. In total we got a Cali Bowl, coxinha with cream cheese, cheese bread, beef empanadas, and a slice of banana bread. Ordering is simple on two kiosk screens and the food came out fast with good customer service. The açai bowl in the regular size was shareable. Very tasty and refreshing. We went halfsies on it and then tried some of the pastries. 5/5 The beef empanadas are 4/5 good, seasoned nicely and served hot but not burn-your-mouth temperature. The dough was crispy without crumbling everywhere. Adding hot sauce makes them better. The coxinha with cream cheese was 4/5. Good portion and I liked the outer crumb texture and the creaminess inside. The dough was kinda gooey on one side though, and not in the way that made it seem on purpose. The cheese rolls were 3/5 so not our favorite, but maybe we weren't ready for the tapioca flour. They still *tasted* good, but the texture wasn't our thing. Banana bread wasn't super sweet and is served room temp. The slices are thick but I wish ours had been more moist. It's a dense bread! 3/5

Amazing place, highly recommend! They have different bowls, cheese bread, coxinha, great staff and presentation

Sao Paulo (Most Popular) bowl. With mango instead of banana. As authentic as it gets!

They have the best açaí base but not the freshest fruit toppings. Can't really review service because they require you to order off a screen rather than a live person. There's much opportunity for improvement.

I like they have the mini bowl option! It's small but was still filling for a lunch! The acai itself is yummy, not as liquidy as I normally like my acai normally. I like that the mango was an option for fruits. Easy to build your own bowl with kiosk. I think the acai here is more expensive than other local acai spots. It was $16 for my mini bowl after addition of some extra toppings like goji berries, flax seeds, agave, and peanut butter. Many other acai places give unlimited toppings. Fruit tasted fresh though and service was good!

I should have taken the pic before we started digging in, but its that good!!

Service is always an A+ and Chicago has a very inviting personality. Leo making the best Acai bowl.... everything on the menu is delicious. Super easy self ordering menu. I'd give 10+ 's if I could. Thank YOU for being the Best at what you do.

I've never had such bad drinks. It's the first time my juices tasted bad, and I didn't come back to complain because I was in a hurry. My son's juice was a smoothie instead of juice, and mine is too unpleasant. It doesn't taste like other times. It seems like the fruit was old, and it tastes bad.

At first, I wasn't sure whether I would like it because I can be a little nervous about trying new places, especially if I've never heard of them before. But my husband reassured me that the food looked good, so I decided to give it a try. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt fancy without being over the top. The staff seated us right away and explained how everything worked. I chose the salad bar option, while my husband went with the full meat option. As soon as I tasted the food, I was immediately sold. The rice, beans, and mushrooms were all cooked perfectly. Everything had great flavor and the right amount of salt. Their salads were so good, and they had an endless supply of delicious cheeses and olive oil. They also served one of my favorite coffee brands, Lavazza, which made me very happy. On top of that, they brought out some amazing appetizers, including fries, cheesy bread, and plantains. The only downside is that the restaurant does not allow you to take food to go. I was honestly bummed because this is one of those places where the food is so good that you want to take some home and enjoy it later. Still, I absolutely fell in love with this place and always try to visit whenever possible.

In fact our original server introduced himself and then disappeared, there was no hand off. About 30 minutes in, a server from another table noticed and helped. Most of the workers looked like young adults with little to no service experience. There was a tremendous lack of meats rotating as well and even some that were not heated properly. We were even offered well done steak at one point and as you can imagine, it was awful. For the amount of money paid, you'd at least expect basic service, but the lack of food quality made the experience quite terrible. I recommend better training for the staff, quality checking the food, and better monitoring of the meat rotations so that there is a steady supply of different meats for each table. Several of the servers did not speak audibly and mumbled, so it was hard to understand them. Attention to all customers is a must!

When we arrived, we were helped by a very kind server named Vivi. She was attentive and even changed the channel so we could watch the baseball game we came for. When her shift ended, we closed our tab with her and waited to open a new one with Katie, who was starting her shift. Unfortunately, once Katie began her shift, the music and the television channels were changed, even though we were clearly there to watch the baseball game. In hindsight, that may have been a sign that the experience would not go well. It took approximately 23 minutes for her to come and take our order I asked for a michelada and a ginger ale. This was extremely disappointing service. I would understand a delay if the place had been busy, but as you can see, the establishment was fairly empty at the time. Because of this, there was no clear reason for such a long wait. Overall, this was the worst service we have experienced here, which was surprising given our previous positive visits. That said, I would also like to highlight one of the servers who consistently provides excellent service. If possible, I would recommend visiting Thursday through Sunday when Naidelyn is working. She is always attentive to customers, provides great service, and greets everyone with a smile.

There's an outdoor seating area and a good size restaurant inside. We were greeted as we walked in. Btw, the HUGE glass door entrance, I love. There Were a few open tables and we were welcome to sit where we wanted to. Two classes of water were brought to the table and a waiter came with the menu. My mom is vegetarian and I am not. I asked the waiter for his vegetarian dishes and he provided me a pasta dish. That was exactly what my Mom was wanting. Linguine with a light pink sauce with mushrooms and you can add zucchini, bell pepper and broccoli. I ordered a sangria. That was just amazing itself. And a linguine dish with shrimp. Warm, sliced French bread and a small dish of butter was brought out first that was so good. Usually the bread and butter that is brought at small restaurants like these could be just mediocre or not good at all. This was warm and just tasty. We also ordered a Caprese. The plate came out with big chunks of mozzarella tomatoes, and both were sitting on a marinated pesto covered set of basil leaves. That was so good. The combination of the vinaigrette, mozzarella basil tomato pesto was exactly what we were looking for so refreshing. Our entrées were huge for $20 a plate. We had to take 3/4 of it home. That was so not expected. Pasta and the pasta sauce were amazing. Very freshly made. Dishes were made to order only and not sitting around. The parking is easy in a small shopping center,, we didn't even need to use Pym particles to shrink the car to fit into a spot. There is indoor and outdoor seating, so we chose outdoor seating, so we could dine in alfresco and the service was excellent. Both the main server and her assistant consistently checked in on us and made sure our drinks were filled. Service is very friendly and they basically had Spidey-sense for exactly when we needed refills. We ordered their chef special steak, which is an Argentinian grilled ribeye, but with an Italian sauce. We also ordered the shrimp, which is also a fusion of Argentinian and Italian. The flavor team-up was so good it felt like Tony Stark and Bruce Banner working together in the lab. For an appetizer, we got an empanada. This is one of the best empanadas we've had, as the crust was very airy and crispy, but not heavy and overly dense. Excellent texture and flavor,, honestly mighty enough to lift Thor's hammer tbh. Also, ordered Argentinian sausages. Excellent texture and bold flavor. It may not have a spicy kick as an Italian sausage, but quality meat and insides. Dr Strange would happily take us on a tour inside and out of this sausage with his yellow portal openers. Oh wait, we are the sausages, so guess he can't. Interestingly, enough, we didn't think that bread could be so excellent! We are big fans of French and Vietnamese style baguettes that are slightly crispy on the outside, but very light on the inside. The bread here was crispy on the outside, but also light and a little chewy on the inside, but in the best way possible. So it has its own flare and flavor. We asked, and they indeed bake this in-house, and you could definitely tell! They mentioned that they make their sandwiches with this baguette bread that is baked on premise and in-house, so we will definitely have to come back and try it again. That bread is basically the reality Infinity Stone of the menu. Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent ambience! Kinda as relaxing as chilling at the Avengers compound after a long mission.

The market is easy to spot with a big street sign out front. There are only two parking spots in front, one is a handicapped space. There's plenty of parking around the back though. When you walk in, you will see the main market with lots of items and brands I've never seen before. Slightly to the right is their deli counter with lots of meats, cheeses, and other miscellaneous items. To the right of the entrance is a dining area, and another counter where you can order sandwiches, empanadas, pizza, French fries, and drinks. I was laser focused on getting the chimichurri and leaving since I was short on time. It is in plastic bottles in plain view on on top of the deli counter. I purchased the regular variety, but they also have a spicy version. I could already tell this was going to be way better than the other two sauces I tried. I've had it on a steak, and on my breakfast scrambled eggs, and it's in a whole different league from the grocery versions I tried. It looks just like a restaurant chimichurri, oil based with lots of herbs and spices. I just had a nice filet mignon with chimichurri at a good Argentinan restaurant last week, and this chimichurri is about 90% as good. I moved it from the plastic bottle it comes in to a glass jar which will hopefully help preserve it longer, and store it in the refrigerator. I now have no reason to look elsewhere for chimichurri. My friend visits here periodically and says the sandwiches are excellent. I'll have to return again to try one, get more chimichurri, and explore the market and deli to see what other goodies they have.
