We ordered his meal for him prior to him arriving and this was still a major problem for the hostess. She basically threatened to move us back outside and told us we were "holding the table" even though we would have never done that. Instead of giving me the opportunity to explain to her we would have done takeout anyways had he not arrived(but he did because again, it was a 45 minute wait), she just continued to talk over me. It made all of us very uncomfortable and the first 10 minutes we felt very on edge and unwelcomed. She then did the same thing to our ninth person when they walked in the restaurant 5 minutes after. He had no idea what had already occurred and was also caught off guard. Most of us worked in this industry in the past, and we thought we were doing the right thing by letting her know. Thank you to everyone else who helped soften our experience. It was very appreciated. Every person who brought a dish to our table was extremely kind.
