Reliable and good poke. It's nothing extravagant or ultra fancy, but Ahi Poke is a consistent and reliable poke restaurant I'll come back to when I have a craving for poke. It's never busy which is a plus. You can order any combo of ingredients that fits your desire or have them make one for you. My 3 protein salad bowl included salmon x3, light house spicy sauce, edamame x2, crab mix, seaweed, sesame, avocado ($), green onion, onion, and cucumbers.

This location had clean tables and the staff was helpful. However, the area where they food was being attacked by flies and there was a sharpie in the food see picture. Also, they are extremely short with toppings even the seasonings. It was just unfortunate experience overall wouldn't return to this location.

Pretty good for Arizona poke! I live out of state and whenever I visit family, I always swing by this place. Portions are nice and large, and there's a good amount of options. The fish quality isn't bad and the workers here are always fast and kind. I also like that there's more pre mixed fish options. I'll be back again!

3 scoop spam bowl with house spicy sauce and spicy creamy on top

Ordered this with doordash and I liked everything except the fact that it was way too salty. That might be my own fault though as I ordered spam + two sauces (one mixed in and one on top). It got to the point where it was hard to finish due to the salt. Next time I will try ordering only one sauce and hopefully that'll fix the problem. Update: Tried with just creamy sauce and it fixed it!

Nice location, clean and welcoming atmosphere. Right when you walk in you see the guiding menu, and the employees were so welcoming and helpful! I expressed I was not sure how it all worked because it was my first time trying this place out, she explained everything even letting me know what the customer favorites are! The presentation of the bowl was great, as was the great taste!! I would definitely recommend giving this place a try! Crab Salad Poke Bowl Blazing Salmon Spicy Tuna Avocado Sprouts Jalapeño

I love ahi poke. I haven't tried their GRILLED MENU yet. They have TERIYAKI CHICKEN BOWL For $8.95 and TERIYAKI SALMON BOWL For $11.35 and SPAM MUSUBI $2.75 or 2 for $4.95 and UNAGI BOWL $11.95 and UNAGI MUSUBI For $3.50 or 2 FOR $5.95 They also have MISO for $1.00 with any bowl. First I chose a base: -WHITE RICE -BROWN RICE -KELP NOODLES (haven't tried) -ORGANIC GREENS -HALF & HALF Then I chose my scoops: -AHI TUNA -SPICY TUNA -SALMON -SHRIMP -KIMCHI SHRIMP -OCTOPUS -YELLOWTAIL (add $1) -SCALLOPS -TUNA LUAU -BLAZING SALMON -TOFU -UNAGI (add $1) -SPAM The 2 SCOOPS is $11.35 while the 3 SCOOPS is $13.55 while the KIDS' BOWL is $7.95 for (12 and UNDER). An additional scoop is $2.20 My favorite is the spicy time and blazing salmon. I also go for the regular salmon and the yellow tail. After that I chose my sauce: -HOUSE SAUCE -HOUSE SPICY -SPICY CREAMY -KIMCHI SAUCE -SWEET CITRUS -WASABI CITRUS -GARLIC SOY MIRIN I haven't tried them all. I usually go for the house spicy or the house sauce or the spice creamy. Curious about the garlic soy mirin though. Then I chose my toppings: Ginger Masago (extra scoop .75) Edamame Wasabi Cucumber Crab salad (extra scoop .75) Daikon sprouts Green onion Red onion Seaweed salad (extra scoop .75) Pickled radish Avocado ($1.50) Sesame seed Crispy onion Chili flakes Furikake Seasonal topping I have never had the seasonal toppings. Maybe it is the pineapple, but I always thought it was canned. They are a little pricey. I more often go to a place with the prices a little less. However they are pretty tasty.

To go order: 2 Scoop Bowl. White rice, organic greens. Ahi & Spicy Tuna

First timer to this fast food fresh & healthy chain. A little history- The Ahipoki concept was born out of the desire of a restaurant group wanting to bring a much needed health conscious approach for their customers. It's an inspired seafood restaurant with a south pacific flare.. Consumers create their own customized poke bowl and have the option to sit down and relax in a laid-back atmosphere all while enjoying the fusion of Japanese and Hawaiian flavors coupled with a fresh fish experience normally found outside of a quick serve restaurant. You also have the option of calling ahead to place a order to go and enjoy poke on the run! Arrive about 2:00 PM just a few patrons dining in and a few tickets were being processed for "pick up" by grub hub which gave me a few minutes to look over the menu. Took notice of how clean the restaurant was and how organized the process was going to be as well. Ordered the two scoop with white rice and organic greens. At an additional fee of $1.50 got avocado as well. Honestly, wasn't a fan as it was more guacamole than sliced avocado. Fish- went with ahi tuna and spicy tuna. Both were delicious along with fresh cucumber slices, red onion, wasabi, ginger, seaweed salad and drizzled with eel sauce, spicy cream sauce & garlic soy mirin. With tax and tip about $16! Huge portion at a fair price and plenty to fill you up and or have a bit of leftovers for later. Employees extremely pleasant. Again "shout out" to the staff for how clean this location was. If you haven't tried this place, I encourage you to do so!

Please read our order and tell me what is actually right? The white rice.

Not too sure what happened here. I feel as if I got punk'd, where's Ashton Kutcher?! (please look at picture) No sauce, not the right fish, missing a TON of FISH, missing extras that were paid for, no flavor in/on anything, door dash app also didn't give options for toppings (maybe we missed the options I don't know) , so got ripped off there too. Like wth happened here? Manager?? Tried calling once our delivery got here, but you guys were already closed, took about 40 min to get our food. Tried finding an email, so I could privately message you guys, but couldn't find one. Ya'll definitely messed up the whole order. I would love our money back, thanks. $70+or so...

Don't be fooled by the dim lighting from the parking lot. They are open.

Compliments to the chef, except for failing to spot the platter crack at the pass. I figured a Sunday afternoon would be calm, so I decided to pop in for a solo lunch. What I Ordered: - Yuzu Mule: The drink was delicious and refreshing, so I ordered a second one. Definitely order if I return as well. - Hamachi Lime Roll: This roll had an odd texture to me, and ultimately, I grabbed the rest to go as it was a little off putting to me. The flavor was decent though I found myself wishing there was more crunch with tempura flakes or panko bread crumbs on top. - Crazy Roll: The winner between the two rolls in terms of flavor and preference. Though, I wish this roll had the spicy mayo the other one had. I'd definitely order again and ask for a side of spicy mayo that I could add to the roll. Love the soy paper option! As for ambiance? I thought country music was an incredibly odd choice for this establishment hence the 4 stars versus 5 star review. I'd prefer more traditional Japanese music, or heck, even some J-Rock over American country music. I'm guessing Sunday afternoon is a slower time, so it was employee choice. Overall, I'd visit again when in the area and recommend to friends/family.

Course 2: Spicy Scallop Futomaki/hokkaido scallop / benishoga / chili crisp/ takuan / wasabi mayo. This roll tastes great, scallop tastes fresh and I love the way it was seasoned. Course 3: Ocean Trout Mi-Cuit/ okinawa potato croquette / citrus cream/fried capers / crispy salmon skin. I love the cream and the capers in this dish. The fish is seared. Although not much flavor in the fish itself but because of the sauce, it complements the dish well. Course 4: Dessert - Yuzu Lychee Sorbet/vanilla whisky hojicha granita. Oh my gosh, this is my favorite dish! It was so good and refreshing! The yuzu sorbet was tart and creamy. And the hojicha ice underneath was delicious! Use to visit the Chandler location weekly 12-14 years ago.. even told our kiddos that tonight when we brought them here. Problems started as soon as we got our food. All the food came out besides our son's children's steak, was told they had to cook another one. As we were waiting for his steak, my husband noticed his steak wasn't a ribeye like he ordered. He suspected it was a NY Strip Steak. About 7 minutes goes by and manger brings our sons steak. My husband asked the manager if his steak looked like a NY strip to him and manager replied "yes, I think we have the best NY Strip" and my husband nicely replied, I didn't order a Strip, I ordered a Ribeye and told the manager it was fine, he would eat it still and still tasted good but didn't want to be changed for a Ribeye since he got the strip wrong. ($12 difference) I got the firebirds bacon chicken pasta with steak instead of chicken and no tomatoes and green onions. Well.. there was def tomatoes and onions and no bacon. And I was changed $30 for pasta and steak.. that wasn't even made the way I asked. Well my son's (late) steak was suppose to be medium and it was rare. By the time the server came back my son was eating some of my husbands steak and my pasta so we just asked the server to take his meal off the check because it was late and cooked wrong. She said it was absolutely cooked wrong and insisted to bring him a new steak as well as take it off the check. She even asked him to put his steak on a plate and "she'd throw it away and they'll make him a new children steak." Well manager comes back and tell my husband that his steak was in fact a ribeye (it was def not a ribeye.. no marbling whatsoever) and dropped off our sons steak.... It literally was the pieces we had cut up that they just threw back on the grill. Even pieces our son chewed and spit out when it was rare and too chewy for him. Like GROSS!!! They did take the children's steak off the check and gave us a free dessert( which we didn't even want, we would have rather paid the correct amount for my husbands steak...) The waitress was fine, none of this was her fault because she read us back what we ordered and had it all correct.. but she fell short as to getting us refills (never even offered a 2nd round of wine or beer) and when it was time for the check we gave 2 gift cards $50 each and our card to pay. She brought back our copy to sign and she only took off 1 $50 gift card. We had to call her over and she realized she didn't use both giftcards and had to void our card and redo it. The managers were busy the whole night talking to upset tables. This location really needs to get their stuff together. Again, nice to offer dessert but truly all we wanted was to get what we paid for and how we asked for it and tonight wasn't it. Literally felt like we were scammed outta $160. we will be taking our $$ elsewhere.

Disappointing Anniversary Dinner - Expected More for the Price…read more My wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here after getting recommendations from friends who spoke highly of the place. Since we're in the Gilbert area, we loved the idea of a great steakhouse without the drive to Scottsdale. We went in with high expectations -- we're no strangers to special occasion dining, so we knew what we were hoping for. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in almost every way. The ambience and service felt more like a polished chain restaurant than the upscale dining experience the prices suggest. For a $300-$400 dinner for two, you expect a certain level of attentiveness and flow -- and we just didn't get it. After our appetizers, we noticed we never received the pretzel bread everyone raves about. When I asked our waiter, he said they had just finished baking a fresh batch. When it arrived, it was cold -- so that clearly wasn't the case. We also had to flag our waiter down to take our entrée order, which shouldn't happen at this price point. My steak was fine -- just fine. My wife's fish was the same. Nothing memorable, nothing that made us feel like the bill was justified. By the end of the meal we were both ready to leave. Our waiter did offer a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, which was a nice gesture, but we were already checked out mentally and chose to go somewhere else to finish the evening on a better note. If you're in the East Valley looking for a truly special dinner, I'd honestly just make the drive to Mastro's Oceans Club or Steak 44.

A Hidden Gem You NEED to Try - Don't Let This Place Stay a Secret!…read moreI've been to Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery a few times now, and every visit leaves me wondering why this place isn't packed every single night. We stopped in on a Monday evening and had the whole vibe almost to ourselves--such a shame because this spot is seriously awesome and deserves a full house! The atmosphere is so vibey--warm, inviting, perfectly lit with that perfect mix of casual and upscale that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels special without being stuffy, great for date nights, family dinners, or just unwinding with friends over craft beers (their selection is impressive--40+ local options with plenty on tap). But the real star? The food. Everything is scratch-made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite. Deeply flavorful, innovative twists on classics, generous portions, and consistently excellent. Whether you go for the Nashville hot chicken and waffles, fish & chips, burgers, or whatever catches your eye, it's all done right. No frozen junk here--just real, delicious food that keeps you coming back. Queen Creek (and the East Valley) needs more places like this. Support local, support quality, and help keep this gem thriving so it doesn't disappear. We'll definitely be back--next time on a busier night so more people can discover it!
