This place serves some relatively less than average priced drinks, but the wait time for the orders and the quality of the drinks (specially, the milk tea) were disappointing. I ordered the four seasons milk tea and on first, second and third sips I thought it was wrong until I realized all of it tasted like milk, and no tea. I definitely would not recommend this to anyone. I only give two stars for its pearls and ability to customize sweetness. The inside is pretty open but no tables at all. Just a long bench to sit on while waiting but there is such limited space at the bench for the amount of people waiting. First thing I noticed was that this place is very affordable, compared to pretty much any boba places. And they also have unlimited toppings! I got the four seasons milk tea with boba and tea jelly, I love four seasons tea but never had it as a milk tea. It was much lighter compared to regular milk tea such that if someone who isn't familiar with four seasons tea would call it "watery". Overall I quite liked it, it felt very refreshing especially in the summer. But I wouldn't think this drink would be for everyone. It's definitely one of my favorite places to grab a drink. Many choices from iced teas, Mike teas, and some blended options to round out the choices. You can customize the sweetness, ice levels, and toppings (I think there are 8 options but a few are free). I think the prices are very affordable with how much drinks are these days. $4-7 for a tasty drink is a steal. My go to would be the four seasons milk tea, half sugar with coffee jelly. It's very floral and you can taste the tea in it. I've tried a lot of the drinks and they're all good except the mint milk tea. It's just my preference but it just tastes like they poured mouth wash in it. There's always several people working and they're constantly working to make drinks for the people in store or all the online orders. While there's not a lot of interaction because you can order off touch screens, they've always been friendly. Besides the cute mural on the wall, the inside is pretty bare. It's not very spacious and it's very clear they want you to get your drinks and leave. There's some seats while you wait for your drinks but no tables. My only real issue is the parking situation. There's a few spots on valley but people constantly double park and sometimes box me in. There's a lot right behind the place but it's designed weird. I saw this place on TikTok and had to try it since it was per se 'the cheapest boba'. They were not wrong! ALittle Tea's most expensive drinks do not go over $5-6 and their cheapest is $2-3! Considering their reasonable prices, the quality is very decent. I really enjoyed my milk tea and love how the toppings are included. They have both sizes of bobas as well as tea jelly. You can even get all 3 toppings for the same price since all are included, however, they do take up lots of space and you'll get less tea. My only complaint is that it took 10-20 mins for our drinks to be prepared since there were a ton of online orders. Although there weren't too many people in store, there was still a long wait to receive your drinks and I heard it's like that everyday. I got the Oolong MT with free topping of boba. I really enjoyed the boba as it was perfect chewiness. The Oolong MT was very flavorful and was not watery like others have described it. I think ALittle Tea has really stepped up its game since the grand opening. When they first opened, lines were crazy and people were willing to wait hours for drinks at a discounted price. They only had a single kiosk and people were just sitting, waiting for their large orders to be fulfilled. Now the workers seem to have gotten the hang of things, there's somebody to take orders along with the kiosk, and there's fewer customers so less of a wait time. We've visited ALittle Tea more than 3 times in the past 1-2 months, and I think the drinks have gotten better and better. The first visit, we had to wait over an hour because people were taking awhile to order at the kiosk. But now, the wait time is under 30 minutes or so. Not sure where I read this from, but I heard that ALittle Tea is from the same sister company as Wushiland. They have locations in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, and I believe this is the first US store that's opened. During the first visit, most drinks tasted quite watered down. I remember thinking the milk tea was quite watery, lacking in tea flavor; however, the pearls and boba were cooked nicely and had a good flavor. I did enjoy the green milk tea as well as the grapefruit green tea. Coming back, I've tried the milk tea again and I thought the flavor really improved - it was similar to Wushiland's where you get more milk flavor, but the quality wasn't as good. And on the recent visit - felt like all the drinks we tried were solid. My favorite is definitely the green milk tea (medium is $3.99 while the large is only fifty cents more). I love that the general toppings are free - I always get the pearls and tea jelly at no cost at all. While I definitely taste more milk vs tea, I think the quality has improved - I order this with less sugar and it's pretty good. I came to try the "cheapest boba in LA" ALittle Tea opened their first USA location at the spot that used to be Tea Station in San Gabriel. We got 2 drinks for $7! Select toppings are free. Okay I finally got the hype about this place. The first time I tried ALittle Tea was when I was in Shanghai. We were visiting their office and they happened to order delivery. I got their Black Tea Latte with ice cream, and but was that good. I had to give our location a try but waited for the hype to die down. Their waiting line was crazy long when they opened for the first week. It was pretty much out the door and more. Their boba drinks and teas are on the cheaper end. Affordable and yet very decent. The ambiance can get crowded, however, there are plenty of rooms to wait for your drinks. Solid 3 stars. Got here around 10:40am on a Sunday (they open at 11am) and was the first in line. When they opened, we were customer 1 and ordered at the kiosk. There were about 15 people in line at 11am so I recommend to go early and just wait. We ordered 3 drinks for a total of $11.47. Excellent value. Toppings were included. The black tea 50% sweet with ice cream was actually delicious. The tea had a strong flavor but I think it was previously brewed (was cold). I recommend this drink. I had to try the Pearl milk tea, 50% sweet less ice. The pearls were hard and not warm. They weren't fresh :( so it was a bit disappointing since I was the first customer of the day. The milk tea was ok, could have more tea flavor. Probably pass on it next time. It took 6 minutes for them to make 3 drinks which isn't bad but I can see the wait being kinda long during peak hours. Quality is a bit better than Quickly but not the same as other boba shops. However, price is excellent and at the end of the day, if you can get your drinks without a long wait time, then I think it's worth it! The inside of the store is huge, no chairs and just some benches for you to wait for your drink. This is a very famous chain in mainland China and this is their first US outlet. I think if you take it for what it is, which is a cheap and very affordable boba shop and you alter your expectations you'll be fine. No one is saying that it's better than your typical $7-$10 a cup elsewhere. I think the biggest issue is that they are very inefficient and they don't know how to move their lines. If you want to try them, you definitely should come before they open. But even as a first person in line, it took 20 minutes for me to get my order. The easiest way is just to go directly to a kiosk and do it yourself instead of waiting in the line for a staff member. I totally understand if people are upset because of the line because no one should wait an hour plus for this place. But if you don't see a line, I think it's worth trying at least once. After coming back to the USA from China over the summer, A Little Tea was one of the only places I could find to satisfy my enlightened milk tea taste buds. This shop tastes very similar to the ones in China, and for the price, makes it my go-to boba spot whenever I'm in the SGV. It's located across the street from the food hubs on Valley Blvd, so parking might be a bit tough if you aren't in the area for dinner. The minute I walked in, I feel like I was transported back to China, with all the Chinese people and characters everywhere. I ordered a Four Seasons Milk Tea and a Boba Milk Tea, and both tasted very, very good. I love how there's an actual tea taste in these drinks, unlike most American boba shops where it's literally flavored syrup (hence all the weird flavors). They respected the less ice request, and 70% sugar levels were perfect; however you could go down to 50% if needed. Boba pearls were sweet, chewy, bouncy, flavorful - you name it; they are simply delicious! Add to the fact that their prices are literally the cheapest in the area, and you've got a recipe for long term success. Service was friendly, and they call out your number in Chinese and English. For a relatable comparison, I feel like this would be the Starbucks of China: good, reliable, and affordable. Parking: You can either park in the back of the (small) lot and walk around the building or find street parking. The drinks took another 20 to come out but there was plentiful seating along the walls and the vibrate area made it a fun place to catch up with friends. Came here last night with my friend for some boba. We were originally thinking of going to a different boba shop but decided to come here just to check out the hype. As soon as we walked in, we saw a lot of customers waiting for their drinks. We went straight to the kiosk to order our drinks. It was so easy to navigate the kiosk. We were shocked to see the total price of all our drinks which was roughly around $12. FYI, we ordered a total of 3 drinks. Normally, buying two boba drinks at other boba shops would cost a little bit more than $12. That's why we were so surprised when we saw the total for three drinks. Perfect place to stock up on boba, the prices here are insane. It's under $5 a cup, so I couldn't help myself and bought a few to use for work and the drive home from SoCal.
