Huge portions!! I've seen this place for years but never thought to give it a try and boy was I missing out! I grabbed lunch there one day and already ordered from them again. Love their chicken plate, which is chicken katsu and bbq chicken. Super huge portions, I like the cabbage and mac salad as well! And you can self serve extra sauce on the side too!! Place is really clean with tables if you want to dine in and the guy was really friendly when I was there. Easy parking and will definitely be getting food from here again!

I wanted to grab lunch for my family and me, and I remembered that this restaurant offers big portions for solid prices. Through their website, I got the BBQ chicken and katsu plate ($16.71), chicken katsu plate ($17.71), and spam musubi (two pieces) ($5.21). Because I ordered online, there was a 4% card surcharge. The menu on the restaurant's TV screens reflects only cash prices. For transparency, it'd be nice if the restaurant stated that the surcharge was 4%. The ordering website reflects only card prices. The convenience was good. I remembered that it usually takes a while for them to prepare the food. In about 25 minutes, the food was ready for pickup. The BBQ chicken and katsu plate was solid, but it came with a rather small scoop of macaroni salad. The chicken katsu plate had a big scoop of macaroni salad, however. The two plates lasted us three days in leftovers. While I wanted mostly chicken katsu, I think the Hawaiian BBQ mix is the best choice because of the diversity. It was also my first time trying their spam musubi, which I liked.

Decided to stop by to see what this place was about since I was getting my tires done down the street. It Ended up being a little pricey for me, but you do get a lot of food for the amount I paid. The chicken was very tasty and flavorful. You get two scoops of rice, one scoop of macaroni salad, and tons of chicken. For the amount of food that you get and a small drink I ended up paying $20 out the door. The service was super quick as well. I had it less than five minutes and there were only about two other people in the restaurant with me. The restaurant was super clean and appeared organized. The Customer service was great, quick and efficient. I would definitely go back and perhaps try other items as well. The guy next to me got the Loco moco plate and it definitely looked good. I would give this place a try.

This is our usual got to spot for Hawaiian BBQ Family meal. Grilled chicken, chicken katsu, and Mahi fish (bbq ribs are good but can be a little too fatty at times). Wish there were more side options like noodles or veggies (not just cabbage) but maybe those aren't Hawaiian items.

Holy smokes, just happened to be in the strip mall I was planning to head to my favorite chicken bowl restaurants in Cypress, but decided to give this spot a try, hidden gem.. their mini bowl was a little more expensive than other mini meals but when you look at the portions, well worth it and if you factor in the flavors, it was outstanding. I added a chicken skewer to the meal and he warned me that it would be spicy, I love spice, but was not expecting the kick. It was outstanding. Can't wait to try other meals.

I like how light the katsu sauce is here. They make the katsu chicken here fresh to order so I highly recommend ordering ahead of time if you don't want to wait. The cashier was friendly and pleasant. I ordered the beef ribs combo. They gave me a free fountain drink which was nice. The portion was huge! 4 ribs and plenty of rice. They needed a rubber band to keep the container closed. Problem is the beef was very tough and more bones than meat. One of them was still kinda raw inside. I really tried to like this but I ended up throwing most it away. Giving a star for staff friendliness and another for the quantity of food. Deducting 3 for the food itself.

Very disappointed with the quality of the ramen. I've had my share of top ramen in my life and I'm not sure if they used top ramen but it tasted and looked like it. The katsu was in the same box as the ramen so if I didn't pull it out right away it would have been a soggy mess. The prices on the board are cash prices. Card prices are "slightly higher" but they don't show exactly how much. Their loco moco was ok. Portions were large for that one. Wow! By far, the freshest and most generous portions of Hawaiian bbq genre food in the OC! Even though the entree prices are a little bit pricey, you get generous, HUGE portions of food for what you pay for. A single meal is definitely shareable for 2-3 people, nearly impossible for 1 person to finish it in a single serving. Both the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken and the Chicken Katsu dishes were delicious, made fresh to order, and flavorful. The side sauces are a little light or watery, though. The macaroni salad was very fresh and even had small bits of fish and shredded carrots in it instead of just the usual bits of veggies that other Hawaiian bbq places put in it. Grilled chicken skewers were a bit too spicy and tasted kinda like the skewers you get from a food vendor at a festival. Customer service was very friendly, short wait times, and the parking was available in the adjacent lot on a weekend afternoon. Definitely will be trying Aloha Hawaiian BBQ again in the future, but with the "mini meals" portions instead. read more

The staff were friendly and offered us a small drink with our order. When we got home and ate the food we got sick. This is my second time getting sick from this spot. We ordered the chicken combo and beef plate. Within 20 min the food upset our stomachs. My son had his left overs the next day and the same thing happened. Hawaiian BBQ is one of my favorite places to eat because everything they make tastes fresh and full of flavor. RIP OFF!!!! I came to what i thought was my favorite Hawaiian joint only to find out that it was new ownership. So i asked for a BBQ Mix plate and they surely overloaded me with 4 pieces of tasteless chicken that was so far from tasting like any "Aloha" bbq, some kind of beef (a lb of it) that is NOT your typical bbq beef which was also tasteless, dry and very chewy, and then just the ONE short rib AGAIN not tasting like any Hawaiian bbq -- VERY BLAND!!! However, the short-rib was the only thing that tasted decent. I miss the previous owners. Their food was sooooo tasty. Anyway, I spoke with the owner and he tried to tell me that every Hawaiian joint bbq mix plate only comes with one short rib. Yeah! Like I haven't eaten at any Hawaiian joints in throughout LA County. So, if anyone comes at me saying that Aloha BBQ's food tastes really good....well, then that just shows the quality of food that they like to eat -- CRAP!!!! NEVER going back!!!! read more

The place had several tables available. It was a little dim, but didn't expect anything spectacular with the ambiance. Much like most fast food take out joints. I know they've been there for a second, but I would consider them still new to the neighborhood. I attempted to go once before but they were not open. Today I rolled in there, got a beef and chicken combo. Really good food, great portions and really reasonable price prices. He explained their new opening promo and overall had a very pleasant time interacting with him. Definitely made my day!
