To be honest, the customer service was excellent. The workers were in a good mood and friendly. However, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and the bacon was raw. Honestly, they let me down. This place has been a staple for years especially for locals. The other day I went to grab an omelette but requested a substitute for the hash browns. The girl said besides fries they didn't have anything. In the past they have had fruit, cottage cheese, side salad, etc. but the girl said only two options. I then pointed out on their menu said they had a side salad. The girl said "we have lettuce that we can put a tomato on top but that's it." I was in shock they called that a side salad. The potatoes are the type of potatoes I like. Thin and crispy basically typical breakfast potatoes but done right. The meat is seasoned well. The only criticism is that there wasn't enough cheese. I don't want oozing but I almost didn't get any cheese until my last bite The drive thru for this place is insane. If there's more than 5 cars ahead of you, I really suggest you just park and order inside. The drive through is ridiculous. I don't think it's their fault. I just think during breakfast and lunch it just gets so busy. It's about 2 cars moving per 10 minutes. Went there to get a breakfast burrito as I had heard they were good. Was mediocre at best. 2 hrs later, I was in the bathroom. I dont know if it was a case of bacteria or what, food being left out, or cross contamination, but I will NEVER go there again. Also, they didnt give me any salsa with my order. I called and spoke with the owner in regards to a very small problem that I had. I ordered the same thing which is the B&B burrito the very next day, and to my surprise, the owner left me that note, thanking me, he put in extra bacon, which I was very surprised, and as you can see, the burrito is very large, so I posted a picture of me finishing the first burrito and I still have the other burrito to finish later on this evening. I would recommend this please 1000% because the owner didn't have to do any of these nice things that he did for me as a retired veteran from the United States Army, I want to thank the new owner for his service to the community, and I will be dedicated to get my food here when I'm hungry. I as well as my family love coming to Alpha! If you see the line out on the street for the drive thru trust me it's sooo worth waiting!! They have such good food! From breakfast to lunch to dinner. My go too are the Cheeseburger (add bacon and avocado) combo, veggie omelet, steak sandwich combo, fish sandwich comb, zucchini, onion rings, Oreo shake o can go on. Everyone there is friendly and your food comes out great every time!!! When I'm Covina support these type of places def better then Taco Bell or Jacks. Each and every visit I've never been disappointed. The food is always fresh, flavorful, well portioned and price accordingly. It's truly one of Covina's best burger spots. The staff is friendly and welcoming and understands The importance of customer service. However, Although my food was good there is one thing I believe warrants mentioning. While In the dining area I saw an employee sweeping the floor and changing the dirty trash cans. This same employee then walked directly to the food counter and began delivering food to customers without first washing their hands. This is highly unsanitary and has the potential of getting customers sick. My suggestion to management is that it be mandatory for all employees after cleaning to wash their hands prior to handling any food. read more

My favorite dish is the Milanese sandwich! It's a chicken Parmesan sandwich and I dream of it. Make it a combo because the French fries are crispy and seasoned well. After coming here for atleast 30 years and speaking to the new owner....i have decided I will no longer support his business. He has a full restaurant (dirty restaurant without any ice on his beverage machine) and only has 2 waitresses who he admitted to only pay $16 an hr!!!!! Both waitresses were great and very patient considering they were doing cashier, to go orders, taking orders to the patio area, bringing out the food to dinning tables, closing the patio awning, had to ask for coffee because they had no time and I had to get up and get my own water. My party of 3 had to wait more than 20 minutes for order to be taken and another 20 minutes for food. Once I told this to owner he was dismissive and even got a little upset. I told him I couldn't leave a tip for the ladies because their credit card machine doesn't accept electronic tips and he said "next time bring cash"!!! Considering the cashless world we now live in, I gotta say this comment was very passive aggressive. Sorry...there won't be a next time. Your dismissiveness to treat your employees better, made me not want to support your biz anymore. Either hire more help or pay them higher wages. read more

Alpha Omega Used to be a staple in Covina. Sad to say since the new owners you can tell quality and ingredients have been forgotten. "Mexican" Burritos are salty enough to give me a stroke, there is only beans low quality meat (tastes like canned beef) and cheese that tastes like it came in a brick from the government in them. Breakfast burrito quality has been forgotten, and have gotten smaller, more messy, and cheaper ingredients while the price almost doubled. The breakfast burritos used to be the best in the valley before the new owners, everything in the burrito tastes like canned dog food now. I've tried to give this place more than a few chances since the new owners and I don't mind paying more for the original quality but sadly I won't be coming back after coming here for over 15 years. I'll start with saying that there is a different vibe with the new management, not necessarily bad just different. The breakfast burritos are the best I usually go for the bacon one and the bacon is cooked perfectly (not rubbery or to crispy). My hubby gets sausage & bacon loves it with their salsa. really dont like leaving negative reviews but I need to be honest. Might be one of the worst burgers I've had. The bun was dry and tasted old, the meat had an odd taste and whatever sauce they had on it (thousand island?) was tangy but not creamy. weird all around. just kinda unpleasant. also got onion rings and wasnt impressed by them. bread crumb coating and more chewy and crisp. the onion tasted a bit too strong as well, I think it was just undercooked maybe? either way, couldn't finish either item and had to throw them away. they've got a big menu here and I'd try the burritos or breakfast items but man I'm never getting a burger or onion rings here again. Our COVID era experience was great here! We were happily surprised after repeat bad experiences with takeout at some of our other area favs. On Sunday, we ordered a grilled chicken salad, cheeseburger dinner, and side of fried zucchini sticks. The order came to around $21 after tax and we're still eating on it 2 days later! Lol The salad is generous in portion size and with the chicken. The ingredients were all fresh. The dinner comes with a huge cheeseburger, lots of fries, and a side salad. My fiancé didn't come close to finishing the sides in the first sitting! We love the fried zucchini sticks here. They're better than other area diner-like places, like Tam's. The ones here have the perfect amount of breading that doesn't fall off every time you take a bite. Just started working around the downtown Covina area and decided to try Alpha Omega after a few locals recommended it. I had a medium sized order which consisted of: - 5 cheeseburgers (with jalapeños, grilled onions, the works yummm) - 1 burger - 1 BLT with turkey sandwich - 3 orders of fries Everything came out super hot and fresh for a 1/1:30 pm order! The fries were nice and crunchy. The cashier was thoughtful and thorough. He double checked our order to make sure everything's accurate which I deeply appreciate.
