We stayed at the Andaz in early october and had breakfast here in the morning. The restaurant was pretty empty so service was very fast and efficient. I liked the food here better than some of the breakfast places I had in Yountville so I'd recommend it if you're in the area. I wouldn't say it's one of those places you have to stop by specifically for though. It's good but not spectacularly unique. read more

I'm staying at the Andaz and was impressed with their breakfast. Normally breakfast food you order at a restaurant inside of a hotel or through room service is "okay" at best. However, at the Andaz Farmer's table, they put together some amazing dishes. I love how they added a little twist of nacho style tortillas for the chilaquiles and the Farmer's Breakfast was delicious. The eggs were actually cooked perfectly Sunny Side Up. We also requested our own omelette and they were more than accommodating. The service was impeccable. They always checked in on us to make sure we didn't need anything else. You should stop by and try the breakfast even if you're not staying at the hotel. read more

It was early one morning, and by early, I mean 10:30 am, when a group of friends touring the Napa/St. Helena area awoke to their comfortable beds and the debate began on where to dine? Well, we didn't have to look to far since the Farmer's Table was right downstairs and after reading the description, we thought: why not? After all, we wanted a hearty but healthy breakfast that would keep us on our feet as we drank copious amounts of wine! While the menu was fairly limited when it comes to breakfast, it offers the staples with an "international" take on it. The staples of eggs and potatoes or french toast are readily available, however other items like the "banh mi sandwich" or "rock shrimp panzanella benedict" certainly stands out and knows no geographic region. However, don't let that scare you...yet... The Banh Mi sandwich was certainly very tasty with a fried egg, pork sausage patty, and smoked mozarella cheese offering the traditional flavors of breakfast, however the pickled vegetables offered the bold flavor that set it apart from the rest. Who doesn't like a Vietnamese sandwich? Well...I'm sure there are some people out there, but I certainly wasn't disappointed as I cut into the sandwich and the runny yolk meshed with the sweet vinegar flavors and brought a smile to my face. Nor was the french toast nothing to sneer at as the soft baguette was topped with chocolate, whipped cream, and poached peaches which offered a very filling, but not overwhelmingly sweet palate. Service was a bit of a let down. Coffee was rather slow to arrive and let's just say...you want to get a non-morning person coffee within 10 minutes of acknowledging them. Food did take a bit of time to arrive and water glasses went empty. Considering there were only about 4 or 5 tables, I did expect a bit more attention. Ambiance was certainly comfortable and rustic with communal dining tables as well as smaller intimate tables. All in all, the food was good, service was decent, and the price/ambiance comfortable. Nothing truly wow-ing, however nothing extremely disappointing. They certainly offer a pretty good breakfast offering. read more

I ordered the quiche, and while the filling was tasty, the crust was overdone and borderline burnt so I didn't eat too much of it. So we had a few meals there this weekend because it was convenient and the food is good especially the $5.00 English Muffin. I know it sounds crazy but it's amazing!!!! The Lox plate is also fantastic with plenty of arugula. Pass on the quiche, nothing special there. The reason I gave them two stars is the service was extremely slow. If you book a wine tour or are on any sort of schedule, you won't make the timeline. It's not the servers fault, the kitchen is slow. When they made my first plate with potatoes, I laughed at the server and pointed out how over cooked they were. Take a look at the photos. We received a breakfast voucher after being inconvenienced with our room situation. Loved the rustic-industrial-barnyard look with views of their bamboo greenery wall outside. The crab benedict was a touch on the unconventional side with some savory sweet brioche bits on a bed of breaded crab patty and sausage bits. Different, but good. My friend got their lox & muffin-- generous small "fishbowl" of salmon, greens, and capers with toasted english muffins. I had a bite of her's and wished I'd ordered it myself. Located within the Andaz Hotel, Farm Table is a very nice restaurant that serves up some pretty good food. Like the hotel, the service is excellent and the space is modern. It's very much an extension of the perfect experience the Andaz hotel provides. The food itself was good. I had the farmers market breakfast, which comes with eggs, sausage, home fries and toast. Everything was very good. You also get a choice of another side, to which I got the Greek yogurt with granola, which was delicious. Overall a great place to grab breakfast. Not your usual subpar hotel restaurant by a long shot, as this place serves quality food in a nice setting. Great experience. read more

I loved having breakfast at the Andaz Farmers Table each morning that we stayed here. The ambiance was casual yet classy. Their breakfast were simple yet complex. We had the Wine Country Breakfast Sandwich and Shrimp Benedict the first day. OMG. To die for. Muffin used for the breakfast sandwich was from a local bakery, was like none I've ever had before. It was airy, yet did not fall apart when I was eating it. The pork belly, fried egg, and arugula combination was perfect with the muffin. Shrimp Benedict on a butter croissant was different and super tasty. I'm not usually a fan of hollandaise sauce, but it was topped with just the right amount. Service was great. My new favorite restaurant in Napa! Note that this is only the case on Friday nights, not so much for brunch. I stumbled across Andaz Farmer's Table looking for a reservation on OpenTable. I was desperate. It was a Friday night and I had totally forgotten to book a reservation for my anniversary. We'd eaten at just about every place in Napa and nothing with availability really seemed like anything stand-out. At the bottom of the list, with just a few modest reviews, was Andaz Farmer's Table. Located inside the Andaz hotel, I wasn't sure what they'd really have to offer in the way of a 'dining experience' so I decided to call to get a bit of information. Tonight would be the restaurant's first chef's table/wine maker/family-style dinner. The premise is to make the dinner a social event. What started as an eclecitc, allbeit semi-awkward, gathering of individuals around a long table soon felt like a big family dinner. Lots of wine poured gratis certainly helped. As each course began, Executive Chef Sarah Linkenheil came out to talk about the food and check in on us all. Virtually every course was knock-out. My favorite was the smoked Montreal Hanger steak with Andaz Garden root vegetables. The cherry on top-- or rather the chocolate on top, was a special plate with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate came out for dessert. Know that this appears to only be a Friday night sort of thing. We came back with a larger party for Brunch and everyone had their own tables and it was not at all the amazing experience we had for dinner. The dinner was easily one of the best dining experiences I've ever had, so it's really hard to compare. read more

The pace at this place makes me feel like I'm in an episode of the Twilight Zone. There were maybe 5 tables occupied, with only 2 tables awaiting food, yet everything was taking forever. We waited 45 minutes or so for some simple egg dishes. An egg is one of the fastest cooking proteins out there! My glass of water took 30 minutes. Every 20 minutes or so, the staff (who were all really nice, albeit slow) would stop by and apologize for the delay, saying the kitchen was "slammed" with all the orders. Room service orders, I know. I get it. But how much room service could there possibly be? Do they choose to serve all the people who ordered room service first and then those at the restaurant? Anyway, I wasn't angry, just puzzled by the slow service in an almost empty restaurant. The breakfast food was fine -- nothing to write home about, but tasty enough. Ate here 3 times now. We stay at the andaz every time we're in Napa and we look forward to breakfast at farmers table. Here's the low down: - baguette French toast: unique in that they use a harder baguette than the typical brioche- crispy on outside, nice and sweet on the inside, even without syrup. Portion is generous. Pear purée topping makes it fancy. Very good. - chorizo hash: all the boys loved this dish the best. Super hearty with quartered fried potatoes and short rib with a perfectly cooked egg over easy. Flavor is fantastic. - breakfast sandwich is a great choice too if you feel like using your hands. They use short rib, egg over easy and fresh arugula. Hearty and good. Potatoes on the side. - my favorite is the oatmeal. I know, o know (oatmeal???), but it is steel cooked oats with quinoa mixed with their amazing pear jam and maybe maple syrup or honey topped with nuts. Not sure if I'm missing any other components but I absolutely love their unique oatmeal- just the right amount of sweetness (natural, not like the fake sweet stuff) and crunch. Not to mention, this dish is a great source of fiber... Always need fiber when drinking wine! - yogurt is amazing as well- it's like the oatmeal but with a thick, creamy Greek yogurt topped with granola, nuts and fresh sliced peaches. Yum. - their bacon is thick cut if you're in the mood. Perfectly crisp. - shrimp Benedict- nice and hearty. Shrimp is meaty and hollandaise sauce is on point for a creamy texture over the poached eggs. Yeah, we pretty much had everything on the menu and can tell you that everything is good depending on what you feel like eating. Service is great. They are so nice and friendly. The only unfortunate thing about this place is that they take a long time to make breakfast. Other than that- great menu, great food, great service. Reviewing for breakfast only. Andaz farmers table is a great looking spot, very rustic, eclectic, and matched the theme of the farm to table style food. I had the breakfast sandwich with a fried egg, Brie cheese, bacon, onion jam and arugula, wow! Gotta try this, equal parts sweet and hearty. The potatoes were perfectly crispy too. Coffee was good and robust. Boyfriend had an omelette, which is a staple and hard to differentiate. Service was a little awkward, but everything we ordered we did receive at some point. Staying at the Andaz up early for breakfast and tastings, we enjoyed a very nice breakfast at this bustling eatery in the back lobby of the hotel. With only a few seated tables and the rest communal were you sit with others you don't know we took we could get on a Sunday A.M. Entire menu is a bit Eclectic for breakfast but you do have your regular menu items and they seem to aim to please and make whatever you wish. All organic products I believe. Coffee was served Hot, fresh and delicious. All items are pretty much ala carte so it can get pricey for breakfast but your at a top quality hotel so what do you expect. Personally had a wonderful omelette with sides of fresh fruit while other diners had a variety of entrees which I will not get into. I will say the Baked then fried skin on potatoes, yes I asked chef to come out and give me recipe were the best Potatoes I've ever eaten including steakhouses. A DON'T MISS. Nice place to relax and enjoy cocktails and bites. More so if this is your hotel, had several cocktails and no driving was necessary. Very inviting open airy bar and sitting. Feeling a little trapped since we are staying here. We received our breakfast after 35 minute wait. They are busy but it's appears this way everyday? Kitchen must be too small or way under organized. The food is ok but they pay no real attention to what you order. Hot milk instead of cream takes ten to fifteen minutes extra. The buttered toast request was a small patty smeared in the middle and the extra piece of bacon? Forget it! The table next to us got scrambled instead of over easy. Andaz Farmer's Table is the latest hipster spot. For a hotel restaurant, it's great. The restaurant has a "farm" feel to it with waiters in blue jeans,a display of fruits&vegetables, along with a chalkboard noting where they source their ingredients. They serve a kicky coffee. They make a unique brioche French toast, along with a crab Eggs Benedict that has a flavorful chipotle hollandaise. Unfortunately, the eggs were more like hard boiled ones than poached... so there wasn't any egg yolk to luxuriously bathe the brioche croutons&the spinach. * REVIEW IS FOR THE BREAKFAST BUFFET ONLY * we had complimentary breakfast as part of our hotel stay. opted for the breakfast buffet which was $23 per person. the breakfast buffet was sufficient. bagels, toast, cheeses, capers, smoked salmon, tomatoes, onions. i also had a piece of whole wheat toast slathered with nutella. there was yogurt, cut fruit, steel cut oatmeal (although it was really a blend, not true steel cut oatmeal that i make at home), sausage/bacon, scrambled eggs. i did enjoy the frittata that they made since the texture was soft like chawanmushi. cornflakes with milk made me happy. the pastries were not very good. i wouldn't recommend the extra calories. coffee, an italian roast, was strong and bold. a group of girls had mimosas but they weren't included in the buffet. service was okay. no one came to clear our plates even though it was a buffet. we placed them on the empty table next to us. they should have cleared it before the hostess walked over another couple to the table. i would only eat here if i had a complimentary breakfast. it is too expensive for what it was. our dinner the night before was amazing...yet, it only cost slightly more than breakfast. 3.5 stars read more

My husband and I stayed at the Andaz a couple of weeks ago and had the worst breakfast experience EVER. No one was at the host stand to seat us, and wasn't there all morning to seat anyone for that matter. We had to track down a waitress to get seated. Upon being seated she asks if we would like something to drink, my husband asked for coffee and orange juice. He opted to do the buffet, I order an eggs benedict off the menu but without the meat as I am vegetarian. 15 minutes go by, we had to ask for the coffee and orange juice again. Coffee comes without being asked caffeinated or decaf and is just dropped off at our table without cream or sugar or even asking if we wanted any. Another 10 minutes go by and finally I am telling them I have to get going and my food still isn't out, so they bring it out.. with meat. So I sent it back.. It came back out.. with HUGE chunks of shell in it. When I told them about it, their solution was to take the plate and comp the food (thanks for comping it) but they didn't seem to care that by round 1. having meat in my food, round 2. having egg in my food and then taking my food away, you are leaving me hungry and crazy late. That being said, the 2 bites that I got of the eggs benedict prior to getting egg shell in my mouth was actually really good. Horrible service, they have no idea what they are doing. Terrible service for breakfast. Host/manager sat us and said server would be right over. I had to flag the host 10 mins later and said can you take our order we're in a hurry. He then took it and then came back asking what we wanted again and put in the wrong thing that I ordered. Ended up waiting over 30 mins for 2 eggs. The food I've had from here is great! Chimichurri skirt steak was medium and tender, chicken wasn't dry at all, and even the potato salad was worth seconds. And I normally don't like restaurant potato salad. The rustic theme and the fireplace make it an intimate and welcoming setting.
