There is absolutely nothing wrong with this place. For $10 you get a lobster roll, fries and a drink. I'm from Boston and I can say WITHOUT hesitation this is a legit lobster roll. The fried lobster was a bit over fried but tasted really good still. The Angie's sauce was a little overpowering for me and kind of tastes like thousand island dressing. We drove 30 minutes to try Angie's Lobster Rolls. It was worth the drive. Of course by the time we got home, we needed to microwave the butter (bad idea, it exploded!) and we heated the fried in the toaster oven. The fries are authentic and my wife loved them and the fact that they had potato skin on them. They are thin and very crunchy with no salt. One of the negatives of the meal was the Angie's sauce which looks like thousand island dressing. My wife tasted it before putting it on the roll and disliked it. The lobster itself is plentiful. However, the two rolls were inconsistent. Mine (pictured) had small claw pieces intact and my wife's had more shredded pieces. The lobster is tasty although it tastes like it was previously frozen. For the two of us, we felt we needed a third roll to split. We'll go back, just wish there was a closer location to N. Phoenix/Desert Ridge. The Pinnacle Peak location was fast and very friendly service. read more

Best lobster sandwich for the price! They also have crab and shrimp. Also try Angie's Grill. It is in their parking lot on 19th Ave and Pinnacle. They have salads, quinoa, and wraps with chicken or steak for $9.99. I took the steak quinoa home and ate it the next day. It was still fresh, tasty, and the steak meat was perfectly cooked. Absolutely delicious! I went for the whole experience. Lobster roll with lemon butter was really good. That is a lot of meat for the price! Bread was tasty and the fry's were even good. I would have preferred ketchup for my Fry's but the sauce provided wasn't the worst. What stole the show was the fried lobster tails. Amazing! Great seasoning and not heavily breaded. 4 stars because i had nowhere to eat so i had to take it home. It would have been pretty messy to eat in my car with the butter. First, let me say that I am generally a fan of Angie's. We've been coming to this location pretty much since it opened up. We've loved the generous portions of the lobster rolls, etc. We've raved about them to others. However, the past 2 or 3 times that we've come in the past few weeks, the lobster portions have decreased dramatically. I'd say it is probably 1/2 the amount of the lobster that we used to get. You throw in the new bread, that is more substantial than before, and now you have a lobster roll that is mostly bread. We though it was a fluke the 1st and 2nd time, but it appears that this is the new normal. If this is the case, we won't be getting the lobster roll anymore. They are just not the same anymore. And my only reason for going was to try the honey spicy fried lobster, we must not have ordered them I thought I did but we didn't get them. Either way the fried lobster tail we got was the most amazing thing I've ever had. Started with a fried ended with the lobster roll. Saw the hack about putting the lobster roll on the fries and definitely going to try that next time. Had the best Arnold Palmer I've ever had in life here. Whenever I go out somewhere if they don't have Dr Pepper, Arnold palmer is my go-to this was a really good Arnold Palmer. Saw their berries and cream drink too for $0.99 and meant to take a picture of it but that looked tasty. Ok, so Angie's lobster rolls pale in comparison to Nelson's Meat and Fish rolls, in terms of both the amount of lobster you receive and the roll itself. Nelson's roll is an actual sandwich roll, but Angie's is simply a slice of bread. Consequently, if you take advantage of the butter they serve up with it, you'll wind up with bread so soggy that it starts to fall apart and becomes very messy to eat. That said, the lobster itself at Angie's *is* very good, especially for the price which, compared to Nelson's, is a steal. And for fast food fries, those are pretty good, too. The drive-thru line can be long, but because both the menu and payment options are limited, it moves along pretty well. read more

At the time of this review I had 2 gift cards from this business that I had no intention of using. I continued to return and pay for my food. Anyone who isn't the ideal customer for this business will be excluded. This began with inconsistent portions and led to a scheduled visit with the "owner" Tony. The owner wasted my time and led me on. I was skeptical of his emails due to the lack of response. The responded from the customer service team seem robotic and not genuine. The staff at this location are hostile and will make sure to blame the customer before being accountable. I do not recommend this racist business. You will be discriminated against if you are not the kind of customer they want to attract. Shame on these people. I made a huge mistake in supporting a local restaurant that is not here to serve their community equally. Summary of my experiences over 3 months is they will shove gift cards in your face to keep you happy and ultimately block you to avoid dealing with any further issues. Tony and Sandy do not conduct business appropriately. I was given a thumbs up and blocked after I explained that my autistic wife is not comfortable ordering alone here. First of all, this place is a no frills place, it is only drive-through, but you get a lobster roll, french fries, and a drink for $9.99! And the lobster and the fresh fries are delicious!
