I looked out my hotel window and saw the word lobster (plus my first name, Angie) on a nearby window and knew it was going to be good. We didn't know we were gambling. A tale of 2 Visits: Our first visit was initiated by a neighbor who had just comeback from their first visit raving about the food. We thought that it sounds to good to be true and since we are lobster lovers so we headed right over. Ordering was easy and the person taking our order was pleasant, informative and friendly. Our food came lightning fast. To our surprise and pleasure it was awesome. The portion were generous and the fried lobster was hot and crispy and the warm lobster roll was moist tender, full of buttery lobster chunks and both were delicious,. The fries were equally delicious and crispy hot. We couldn't stop talking about it. And really looked forward to our next visit. We were so excited we planned on ordering double our original order. What the heck happened! Our next visit later in the week to the exact same location was not nearly the same. The person taking the order was robotic. We pulled up to the window and we're ignored. We waited and waited watching what seemed to be a couple of people not working together very well and in no rush to complete our order and we were the only customers. Eventually were handed our food. We were surprised but we're happy to go and gobble it down. We were so excited we pulled over down the street into a empty parking lot and found the order to be so disappointing. The fried lobster was just ok. But instead of crispy and hot it was just warm and crispy, it was not. The warm lobster roll was a complete disappointment it was mostly tepid with some room temperature pieces. Generous chunks before we're now only a few and the rest was smaller stringy and chewy pieces. Even the butter tasted off, more like oily than buttery. Both orders of fries were like they sat on a counter way to long no heat, no crisp, just blah. We hoped we were on a new version of Candid camera and someone would pull up and tell us it was all joke but of course it was no joke. Just really, really, bad. read more

Such a hidden gem for breakfast. Super affordable and great quality. You can not find a better fast food meal at this price point. The fries are amazing! Not sure if they are already going down hill or if this was a one-off. I ordered a number 4 today and there was no one ahead of me. Often when I order this, I am asked to wait for fresh tails. Today I just waited a moment and they handed out my food. When I got home I found there was one regular sized tail and three less than half sized pieces but they smelled bad. The coating was very dark to the point of being almost burnt in several areas and burnt on some ends. The tails were mostly tough and chewy. Did they just reheat old tails? This was very disappointing I have noticed in the past that sometimes, when you order the fried half-tails, they are a bit over done, but most of the time they are well cooked, smell, normal, and are tender and juicy. I come here embarrassingly frequently, so I'm hoping this isn't a pattern and was just a mistake. It was very disappointing though. If it happens again, that may be my last time. read more

Very impressed with the setup of this establishment. They have It's streamlined down to perfection. They take care of business. They offer breakfast items. Besides that, it is just lobster rolls and fried lobster tail fries, tea and lemonade. You literally order in the drive-thru pay and by the time you get up there in 1 minute your order is ready. Very impressive, convenient, delicious, and half the cost of any other lobster place in AZ. Definitely worth coming to and checking out. Wish there was one closer to Scottsdale. Please open one here. Gotta say, really liking this place. I haven't done breakfast yet, but their lobster rolls are quite tasty, as are the fries. One complaint, though, is the lemonade. Omigosh yum. We have had a lot of lobster rolls, the best by the water in Rhode Island. But these lobster rolls at Angie's were surprisingly delicious! This location is drive through only so there is no place to sit and eat. Might want to eat them in the parking lot because I'm sure they're so much better if you eat them sooner than later. These are a bit on the smaller side, but there's a good amount of lobster and not unexpected for the price. We got the meals for 9.99 and they come with a good amount of fries and yummy sweet tea, lemonade, or cold brew. We tried the cold and warm rolls, I like the warm ones better and the toasted bun is delicious, not too buttery like I have had before. The rolls come with plain butter or lemon butter (soo good and Angie's sauce, which is like an aoli sauce. Honestly, you could just do the butter and it's delicious. Not a fan of Angie sauce for shrimp. We brought our own catsup as we heard Angie does not supply. Found a park nearby to eat. Handy to have a table as this doesn't make great car food.
