I really wanted to love this place but definitely didn't. After seeing their Instagram which makes the food look amazing, I can attest this place is mediocre at best. Starting with the oyster appetizer we ordered where there was barely any oyster in each shell. Very embarrassing for a place that specializes in seafood. The waitress who was very sweet overall suggested these family serving sizes (can't remember name off menu) to get the best value but when I told her i had a dairy allergy and would need one of their dairy free bases while my husband wanted one that wasn't, and asked if they could split it, she didn't even ask the kitchen she said said oh no they won't do that. So we ordered basically what was in the $120 family style one but separately so we could have the different sauces making the cost $60 more for the same portion. I was just turned off that she didn't even attempt to ask the kitchen she just dismissed it. The king crab legs were decent at best, again not overly meaty. I ordered the twin lobster rolls ... and she told me they were out of lobster... the reason I went here was because of the lobster rolls ... it's a seafood restaurant... without one the most popular seafood items available ... from here it just snowballed ... the drinks we received from the bar were absolutely disgusting ... and she came out to tell me that all of a sudden the had the lobster rolls after I ordered something else.. my husband got the Poboy fish on the hardest baguette ever!!! ... and his fish was so greasy and slimy... the fries were barely fried ... Well I know why it's called angry crab cause I left angry. This was my first time here last night. Food was bland and barely any seasoning on the food. Before I ordered, I asked the waiter how many clusters of snow crab do I get for a pound, and he stated 2-3 clusters. I go ahead and order 1 pound and I only get 1 cluster which is 4 legs, for $36. Such a rip off. We had to ask the waiter for extra seasons on the side, lots of lemons and salt since the food had no flavor. I will never come back. Everything was awesome!!! It is super casual and laid back. We ordered the boiled snow crab, shrimp and clams. All were awesome! They come in a bag and u eat out of the bag w gloves, but if u want a plate and silverware, just ask. Our server was Luis and he was awesome!! The manager, Brian, visits every table and he is great! I've never complained about a restaurant before. I can excuse almost anything, because I understand how stressful it can be. But today was the WORST experience I've ever had. Our wait time ended up being a few minutes less than quoted, awesome. When the server came over to take out order she had a good menu knowledge. Unfortunately that's as far as my compliments go. Our ticket was lost so it took us an hour to get our food, when the food came out it wasn't even what we had ordered. She eventually brought out our actually meal and didn't even apologize for the fact we had been there an hour and a half without our actual order. We had to ask for something to eat the potato salad with, and had to ask for gloves though everyone else seemed to get them with their meals? The food was mediocre. I wouldn't eat it again even if it was a good experience. Our bill was 95 dollars which is a pretty good deal for seafood, but when I called after to explain my frustration to the manager (I was too nervous when we were in the restaurant) he said "well did you eventually get what you wanted? When finally seated, we were given a greasy menu that was so greasy you could barely hold it. Great food and amazing customer service! We popped in yesterday and ordered 1lb of snow crab and 1lb of the easy peel shrimp. We chose the trifecta seasoning for the shrimp and went with lemon pepper & garlic for our crab legs.... *chefs kiss* Food was amazing, everything was fresh and delicious! We had Rick as our server and he was awesome! He was attentive and very kind. A great waiter to have! The gentleman who helped Rick bring out our food was also very nice. I ordered a drink from the bar and it was very yummy and strong (just how I wanted) the gentleman who brought my drink from the bar was very nice and even helped us with a question about the menu when Rick was getting our waters. We won't be back. None of us are very picky eaters, but my entire family was disappointed in the food here. I ordered the shrimp linguine with mild spice and I had mentioned to the waiter that I was sharing it with my daughter who is 1. It was VERY spicy. I enjoy spice but I could not eat it. My mom and sister both ordered the salmon linguine with no spice and they were both very differently made. My mom said hers desperately needed salt and had no flavor at all, but my sister's had way too much garlic and couldn't eat it. My husband ordered the fish cake sandwich and did not eat it because it was SO greasy. Not sure what was wrong with the gumbo but my stepfather didn't end up enjoying his food either. We where so excited to try this place after reading some good reviews on yelp and since it was my husbands birthday I booked us a reservation. We arrived on time and checking in was a breeze. We thought okay, let's see if this place redeems itself. My husband ordered the lobster broil with an add on of crab, potatoes and sausage. I ordered a salmon salad as my entree. The bring out my salad about 10 min before my husbands food so it sat there because I wasn't going to start eating before my husbands meal and finally when he brought my husbands it was just the lobster. No butter no sides of crab potatoes etc.it takes another five minutes for the waiter to come back and he tells us he pushed the wrong button for the sides so they're making them on the fly and when it finally comes, it had to be sent back because he didn't put any of the seasoning on it! When you're paying around $70 for his plate alone, you want to enjoy it all at one time, when it's hot and It took forever to even get the butter. Our Hotel was only 10 minutes from the restaurant and the fried wings tasted like they had been sitting around too long...not freshly fried to order. This is the second time I've gone to this location. Last time they didn't have any lobster for the "Neighborhood Block Party" so they made a substitution. This time I called before to confirm that they had everything for it this time. They don't take reservations but he told me they just got a shipment so everything will be available. When I got there, they told me they didn't have the crab and wouldn't be able to make any substitutions so they'd put it in manually and it should be "less expensive"...: the Neighborhood block party is $225... our bill was $414. I have a huge complaint with this restaurant. I brought my family of 6 here for dinner a couple months ago and had a horrible experience. Horrible customer service, food etc. After my daughter in law wrote a bad yelp review the "General Manager Dani" reached out to us from her personal cell phone wanting to know exactly what happened with our dinner and acted extremely apologetic towards the situation. Much to my surprise she offered my family and I a free meal on them if we choose to give it another try. After the call I was extremely satisified with how much I felt Dani cared and wanted to try and make it right. Fast forward to the present day, I have tried to reach out to Dani several times to try this restaurant again and she has yet to return my call or text. So, we went to Angry Crab Shack last week. I'm leaving a review because I can't stop thinking about the food. We had heard of so many seafood boils, but this was recommended to us by friend of the family. The reason they recommended it was because of the seasoning. Right? Sounds crazy, but, not all seafood boils are created equally. We spoke to our server, who was also the bartender, and he recommended we get a number 2 or below if we didn't eat spicy food. And if we did, he said to start with a 3 of the sauce. We stayed with a 2 and moved up to a three. My mom tried the 4 but the rest of us couldn't handle it. So far, I rank this as one of my top experiences since moving to Vegas. Every time my grandparents visit we take them somewhere new. This place we all agreed we'd be back, and we told our server Beto, we would be asking for him next time. He was one of the nicest servers I've ever experienced in Vegas. And we thanked him several times for the experience. I will also say that my granny loved the blueberry mojito. Make sure you get the family feast and add an extra pound of shrimp for the people who don't like sharing. All in all the music was good. The service was excellent. And the environment was lively. Okay I'm giving this 3 stars although food was worth 5 stars. My reasoning for the 3 stars is because the service was not good or great. The server came to the table when we were seated, wrote his name, asked about drinks, brought them out. We ordered one appetizer and it was delivered to the table. We placed our order, took 20 minutes to start receiving items, and it trickled out of the kitchen one item at a time with 5-10 minutes between each item. Our server hardly acknowledged us, we didn't even have a server it felt like. He never checked on us, and throughout the meal we only received a single refill per person. We get our check and asked if it could be split. Upon looking at the receipt we noticed we still were being charged for melted butter and dipping sauce that were never brought out. When asked about it to the server, he says it was added to the boil bag. We weren't explained that when you order sauces or melted butter that it doesn't come as an actual dipping side as we were leas to believe when ordering but it is instead added to the boil bag? I was just like okay... but that's not how I ordered it or intended to order it. Kinda annoyed me further about the service. Overall food was excellent, breading on the breaded shrimp was a bit heavy but still good. Drove up from California to try this amazing place I've seen on TikTok. It did not disappoint! There are many places like this where I live and none have been as good as this place. The seafood was cooked to perfection, the sauce was on point with the amount of garlic, butter and Cajun. I love love love that you can order almost anything in smaller portions. Variety is the spice of life and being able to try different things was perfect. I think I got 1/2 lb of green muscles, fresh crawfish, shrimp, snow crab, lobster tail and their trifecta sauce. It was perfect! We ate there on a Saturday night and I tried to convince my husband to stop by for lunch on Sunday on our way home, he didn't agree so we're going back in March!
