On top of that, the pricing structure felt confusing and, at times, like there were hidden fees. The cost of services seemed to vary depending on the day of the week or the therapist, which was frustrating. I prefer straightforward, transparent pricing so I know exactly what I'm paying upfront, and that wasn't my experience here. I also wasn't impressed with the quality of the massages. The therapists were inconsistent, and after my last massage, I actually left in pain. That experience was the final reason I decided to cancel my membership. The cancellation process is where the customer service issues really became apparent. When I cancelled, I was told via text that I had one remaining massage credit to use. I signed the cancellation agreement, but admittedly (my bad) I overlooked the section stating that unused credits expire after 60 days. Three months later, I contacted the business to schedule my final massage and was informed that my credit had expired. While I acknowledge that I should have read the agreement more carefully, I was disappointed that no one mentioned the 60-day expiration when they told me I had a remaining credit. Since I had already paid for that service, I asked if they would consider honoring the credit as a courtesy. They said they would discuss it with the owner and get back to me. More than a week later, I still have not received a response. At this point, it's less about the massage credit and more about the lack of customer service. The combination of aggressive upselling, underwhelming massage quality, and poor follow-through left me feeling like the business was more focused on generating revenue than taking care of its clients. There are many massage options available, and I've personally had much better experiences elsewhere with better pricing, better service, and better results.

I was trying to give a therapist I had never seen before a fair opportunity to adjust after I gave her feedback, not watching the clock to make sure I exited before an arbitrary cutoff. I repeatedly communicated that the pressure was painful and asked her to adjust. My original complaint was not simply that I wanted a refund after finishing a massage I disliked. It was about a very poor experience despite my attempts to communicate, followed by a dismissive response when I brought it to the front desk. Their public response is considerably more apologetic than the response I actually received in person, but unfortunately the emphasis on what I should have done within the first 15 minutes only reinforces my disappointment with how this was handled. Apparently, my attempt to be patient and give the therapist a chance is now being used to suggest that I chose to accept the experience. Beware.

What was most concerning was how tangled my hair was at the end. I have never seen my hair in such a knotted mess. Yes she was able to detangle, by pulling it apart and ripping the hair. The tangles were caused by poor products and shampoo technique. A good conditioner and proper rinsing would never leave my hair like that, the 90minite service was also supposed to include blowdry, I was told to pay $10 more. I will not be returning. I wish them luck and hope they can use this as a reference to make the experience better. There are MANY head spas in the area that take better care of the client for the same price.

She was able to assess and work through many of the knots and tension in my mother's neck and shoulders with incredible expertise and care. My mother told me it was the first time she had met someone who was both graceful and gentle, yet incredibly strong at the same time. Haruna truly has a gift.
