From start to finish, this experience was amazing! I loved how they showed before and after ultrasound videos of my scalp. I also loved how they provided heated slippers and heated weighted pillow for my stomach when I laid down for my treatment. I was so relaxed throughout the massage, facial, and scalp treatment. I had high expectations for this spa after hearing so much about it and seeing it all over social media. Unfortunately, my experience was just okay--not bad, but it didn't live up to the hype. I went in not really knowing what to expect and assumed it would be similar to a massage or facial appointment. I was hoping for a more educational experience, where I'd learn about my hair condition and causes and what to expect during the treatment. Instead, the whole process felt rushed, with random bits of information thrown at me. It seemed like the staff weren't very knowledgeable about the reasons behind issues like buildup, dryness, or oily hair--they were more focused on performing the treatment itself. So, if you're expecting a deeper understanding of your hair health, you might be disappointed, as you'll likely receive generic answers before being moved on to the spa room. From what I saw online, I wasn't sure if the treatments would be in private rooms or shared spaces. It turns out that everyone is in the same small room, separated only by sheer curtains. I brought my boyfriend along, and there was another couple there as well, all during the same appointment time. So, if you're expecting a private room, just be aware that you'll be sharing the space with others who are booked for the same time slot. The majority of the experience focused on the scalp, with the added bonus of a mini facial and a shoulder/neck massage. However, one thing I wish they had done differently was the way they handled the last 10-15 minutes of the session. After applying the facial, we were left alone while the workers cleaned up and prepared to end the session. Instead of just resting during that time, I think it would have been a great opportunity for them to offer more massages. It felt like a missed chance to enhance the experience and really tie everything together. Overall, I'd give the experience a 7/10. If you're a fan of the head rubs and hair washing you get at a salon before a haircut, this is like an extended version of that. The workers are very kind, and if you're curious about the experience and don't mind spending the money, I think it's worth trying at least once. However, if you decide to skip it, you're not missing out on anything extraordinary. That said, you will definitely leave with silky soft hair. read more

My first time at a scalp spa. Wonderfully relaxing experience - loved the scalp massage, facial, neck/shoulder massage, and warm pack/warm slippers. My scalp felt so clean afterward. My hair tech was very thorough and attentive. Can't wait to come back. The only notes I have are: 1. I'm used to having product placed around my eyes during a facial, but not directly over my closed eyelids. I wouldn't mind but I felt like a bit of product was starting to get in my eye. I think they use gentle products - it didn't sting or anything. Would prefer if they made a circle around the eye instead. 2. There was one step of the facial where an amazingly comfy warm towel was placed on my face, but it was left on for only a few seconds and I would have loved to enjoy it longer. Would have liked more steam during the facial as well. 3. I have curly/wavy hair so just blow-drying it without styling resulted in frizzy hair.
