    almond butter banana bagel
    Sarah C.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]great cafe to work at or chat, pretty spacious and has clean tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] it's also gluten free/ celiac safe so great for everyone! I enjoyed my almond butter banana bagel with honey, it was a little steep ($12) but tasted good. the staff were a little hostile and seemed judgy though.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean, quiet, and simple place (both in aesthetic and healthy food options).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came here for late lunch on a weekend. You order at the counter and seat yourself. I was hoping to order the soup that was on the displayed menu but they did not have that on Saturdays FYI (soup is cooked all day Saturday to serve starting Sunday). Ordered the breakfast plate instead and it was standard. Sausages were great, but poached eggs were a little overcooked (yolk was hard). Overall a little pricey for the simplicity of the meal. $26 for matcha and brekkie plate.

Amazing Kale About Salad #glutenfree always

This is one of the very few gluten-free restaurants in San Francisco. That's a sad statement, but there's so many high and mighty bullshit restaurants that claim to be gluten-free and then cross contaminate. This is 100% gluten-free. Don't be fooled. It's actually great food just because it's gluten-free great salad, bacon and blue cheese all the goodies you can get them here. Try the muffins the app the banana muffins oh my God to die for and yeah hundred percent gluten-free run don't walk this place is great.

    Lox Bagel + Cream Cheese

Bagel with lox was SO GOOD! Bagel tasted homemade. Perfect texture and delish! Everything super fresh. My mom loved her Chinese chicken salad! I wish the bagel was bigger and there were more lox and cucumbers. Green juice was not good--too pulpy--not sweet--tasted like dirt lol! Oatmeal cookie was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute seating, super modern, clean and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fast service.

Delicious to-go Cobb salad! It was very filling loaded with avocado, super crispy thick bacon, and chicken. A little overpriced.

Holy smokes Batman!!! We stumbled upon this places while looking for a bite one morning & I knew I could get a waffle thanks to reviews... little did I know it's entirely GLUTEN FREE!! So not only can I eat the waffle, I can eat the avocado toast & I wanna go back for the breakfast burrito!! I got the Snowy Plover drink - espresso, fresh whipped cream & sparkling water - oh that was good, quite refreshing Thankfully my non g/f friend split dishes with me so we got the waffle with whip cream & the avocado toast with lox The waffle had a hint of cinnamon & came with fruit & syrup- we ordered the whipped cream on the side, no butter - we did ask for butter & they gave us some - the waffle was light & fluffy with a hint of crisp, but it was cold by the time it arrived - still awesome though The avocado toast was good - multigrain toast, smeared with a flavorful avocado topped with radishes & dill & lox- it was good!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great little place tucked into a cute neighborhood[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I ordered this salad for delivery. I will say it's pretty tasty and the ingredients are fresh. I don't know if the price matches what you get.

    Matcha latte with oatmilk

Matcha was beyond gross, very watered down, bland/ had no taste. Ordered a matcha latte with oatmilk* Gluten free bagel w cream cheese was bomb though I always come back for it, [[HIGHLIGHT]]love the vibe and atmosphere[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] but the matcha was not a hit for me or my friend. Coffee items in the other hand firee!!!

Coffee is bad. Like watered down instant. Iced is even worse. Better to just burn your money.

Some of the worst service I have ever experienced. Breakfast for 4 was delivered randomly over 30 minutes and I'm still waiting. Finally!

Expensive. BLT was strange. 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half and very little bacon. Pretty much like a salad on toast.

Banana muffin ? Delicious made from rice flour....

That banana muffin made with rice flour is gluten free. That's all I know.

    Que comida se vende?

Gluten free pastries, toasts, salads, and cafe style drinks. Like a cafe with an expanded menu. On weekends, they serve a brunch with more traditional breakfast items such as waffles and breakfast tacos, all with a gluten free, health food twist.

In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

Came here on a Saturday for brunch…read more I got the Holy Chili Bomb Basil Omelette. It had ground chicken and veggies inside, and the chicken and basil were the flavors that stood out. I wouldn't call it spicy at all. The omelette felt small for the price and there wasn't much filling inside. It came with a side of potatoes that were really good. They had a nice crisp on the outside and were soft on the inside. I also got a regular coffee, and they do unlimited refills. The place was busy for brunch, and I liked the bear theme. Some of the coffees came in bear-shaped glasses, and some of the lattes had a decorative bear made out of ice.

The bar is to the right of my table and I sit down and right away order from the menu in order to catch up with my friends. I chose their Spicy Pork Pozole a slow braised pork stew, white hominy, cabbage, and house chips. To wash it down I chose their Watermelon Ginger Agua Fresca it came with a rim dipped in a salt & spicy chili powder that reminded me of a margarita but it was a OTRAS BEBIDAS (non-alcoholic) and later I added their Horchata that was delicious with a sprinkling of nutmeg! My friends ordered their FRIJOLITOS CON CHIPS, DIRTY QUESO, & CHARRED CABBAGE which we shared...light and delicious dining. When I called to place a pickup order, I was asked for my full credit card number and expiration date before I'd even finished ordering. I went along with it, but when they then asked for my CVV code too, I got uncomfortable and stopped. No legitimate phone ordering system needs your CVV read aloud over the phone; that's the kind of information you only enter yourself on a secure, encrypted checkout page. Asking for it verbally is a red flag for how they're handling (or storing) customer payment data. On top of that, the location was too busy for me to just park and order in person instead. I really wanted to try the food, but I'm not comfortable giving out full card details over the phone to a stranger, and I don't think other customers should be asked to either.
