Really poor service. Every time something was fixed at my car, that I purchased at Autosource a new issue came up. I know this is not the fault of the cardealership but I left messages on a daily basis without anyone calling me back. I was getting really frustrated since nobody was willing to help me. It took me to drive over there and finally talk to someone who could help just to turn me away again. At least I finally got an appointment. I really had a horrible experience with their customer service. Will never buy a car from them again. Guys don't buy the extended warranty since they are not willing to help you. read more

Went shopping for an SUV over the last couple of weeks and although most of the places I went to were very helpful and tried to work with me, no deal really struck me as a sure thing. On a whim, I swung by Autosource to take a look and although it was slightly after hours on a Sunday, they still let me browse. Next day, I went back and the owner Rima himself sat me with me to try and work out an amicable deal, which we did after only about an hour. Although initially skeptical of small indie operations like this, I was very impressed with the helpful staff and the total willingness to make the customer totally happy. This included adjusting the final price when a discrepancy was found to detailing the vehicle until I was satisfied (they also gave me a loaner as well). They also seem selective when taking cars in on trade or for purchase (in a good way), which in itself delivers a better product to the consumer (my trade in was a pretty immaculate, super low mileage car). I am very happy with my new vehicle and I would go back to buy another one when the time comes around again for a refresh. read more

So it has been over 4 months since we drove into Autosource to get a quote to potentially sale a car. We had two vehicles and are moving off island and only wanted to ship one. The honesty and transparency we received from the entire team at Autosource was overwhelming. To make a long story short, we decided to trade our two cars in to upgrade to 1 car. The salesman, Giraurd was knowledgeable and very relaxing to deal with. The finance expert, Kimberly, was spot on with the funding and contract. But the real star of the show is Rima, the owner of the dealership. Even though the dealership was full of customers, he took the time to make us feel like we were the only ones there. He understood all the details of our cars as well as the one we purchased. He listened to our concerns and our needs and helped us get into a car we felt would be the best for our situation. Before we made any decisions, I looked up Autosource on Yelp and read some reviews. I saw a small number of negative (1 star ratings) and considered them outliers (with a strong emphasis on "liar". I don't know the people that wrote those reviews, but I know the experience we had in the dealership in no way could have been perpetrated by the people they claim to have dealt with. I don't think I have ever felt so welcomed and respected as I did in Autosource. Full transparency, the night we got home, we had a mechanical issue with the car. We immediately had buyer's remorse and felt like we might have made a bad decision. We contacted Giraurd after hours, who assured me that everything would be taken care of the next day. Early the next morning, Rima the owner, contacted me directly and laid out the plan. They sent a service technician, Narayan, and a tow truck. They gave us an awesome loaner, while they resolved the issue with the car. During that week, another car came in that was more in line with our dream car. After a great conversation with Rima, we were able to sell the first car and purchase our dream car. We cannot be happier how everything happened so painlessly. When I first attempted to go to auto source I made an appointment with car sales department. When my wife and I arrived we found out the person we had an appointment with wasn't working. Then someone else just decided to take their place and try to sell us the vehicle. After taking a look at a few different vehicles I noticed a lot of rust in the bottom of a particular one I was interested in. I commented on the rest and they told me not to worry about it because they could just clean it off and it will be fine. The car seem pretty rundown and not in great shape honestly. While trying to have a moment with my wife to discuss vehicle options, a male customer came from the service department and walked over to me. He whispered to me and told me not to purchase a car from here, that his car was in the service department for the last two weeks approximately 10 of those days. He said that the car was constantly breaking down and it was a really bad deal. Not long after someone who identified as a manager brought a different sales person from who we were talking with before. There was no reason given for changing sales persons however he said that the new sales person would take care of us and make sure that we got a good deal. The manager kept playing with a large wad of cash which was kind of awkward. The whole place just really had kind of a shady vibe. The sales person attempted to give us a quote on a vehicle. The price that was on the window has gone up to two "dealership fees" and they were trying to "almost $1000 a month for the vehicle that wasn't even in that great of shape. We decided to leave and check out some other options and the sales person texted me later in the afternoon saying that they could get it to around $500 a month. How we cut the monthly bill in half I have no idea. It again appeared really shady like they were going to see if I would just except the larger monthly payment. We ended up buying a vehicle from another dealership and had an absolutely amazing experience. Since then I've recommended three other people to that dealership who have all had great experiences. I've also talked to one or two more people who have purchased cars from AutoSource and all have stated that there have been issues with registration fees, expired safety inspections, and service issues for days. I rarely write reviews on yelp and in this case it just needed to happen. I hate that there's places like this still, if you wanna buy a car from here that's anybody's option don't just take my review without looking into it yourself but I'm basically saying take the time to really look at your deal and look at the vehicle itself before you make a decision to buy from here. Don't just take it at surface value or by its cover. Make sure to look into it and really know what you're getting into before you're screwed. read more

Do not go here. Rima is a sketchy business man that should not be trusted. Since November of 2023 I have visited 4 dealerships on Oahu. As the son of a mechanic, anytime I look for a car I bring a little code reader to check if the dealership clears codes on their vehicles. Autosource cleared the codes on 2 of the 4 cars that I test drove. Indicating to me that if he has a car that has a check engine light, he clears codes so that no check engine light is on and is able to complete the deal without the customer ordering for those parts to be replaced. Incredibly shady operation. Do not buy or sell your car here -- they will swindle you out of your money. My experience: The owner, Rima Braden, seemed very friendly and like a straight shooter as we were discussing selling my truck. I was offered a vehicle (which they claim was valued at $13000) and $12,500. Great deal, I thought. That is, until within one month I had to take the car back 3 times for major repairs. The first time the check engine light came on was within 24 hours of getting the vehicle. They repair and say "they'll cover it." That sounds all well and good until 1 week later the check engine light comes on again. They then require me to pay the repair (amounting to over $1400). They do not care about the quality of the vehicles they are selling you. The owner is a true con man (I actually have come to believe he has Anti-Social Personality Disorder). I discovered that they listed my truck for over $39,000 without doing a thing to it. That's over $9000 more than I paid brand new. Months later, I'm still kept up at night by how swindled I was. This is a predatory company. I sincerely hope that they run out of business. My mechanic said his wife worked there but left because of how shady their operation is. read more

BUYERS BEWARE. Avoid this place at all costs. Even though this place may look like they sell quality cars, they don't. I bought my car back in October and been having issues with my car ever since. They promised that their vehicles have been thoroughly checked, but that's BS. Within the first couple weeks, I noticed my entire car was repainted and it was poorly done. Then I noticed the air filter was made out of foam but it was corroded. Imagine how much foam particles that got sucked into the engine! Then I noticed my car was missing a speaker! How do you sell a car that has a missing speaker?! About a month ago, my transmission started giving me problems, it's been difficult to get the car into gear! I understood that the car was AS IS but to sell a car with so many problems and telling me the car was perfectly fine is what makes me really upset. If you want to be a reputable company, make sure you actually service these cars and that it won't give issues before you put it out for sale. I would like to also point out that the car salesman was cool but seemed new to selling cars. I believe his name was Mingo. He was just rushing me the whole time. I should've known to walk away when I would question some of the things on the car. One question I asked was " how come the the stereo is so soft?" and he would reply "Don't worry, we'll take care of it before you take the car home." What a liar. If you would like to buy a vehicle with no guarantees of the quality of vehicle you're buying and be treated like you're crazy for expecting to purchase a vehicle with no issues from "the largest dealership in Hawaii", then AUTOSOURCE is the place for you! This dealership is a nightmare. The post-sale customer service is absolutely abysmal and unacceptable. I purchased a vehicle from them and identified an oil leak. It took their service department two visits to identify the cause of the issue and they tried to charge me an additional $2500 to have the repairs completed. Dennis in the service department and Rima, the owner, are unresponsive and little to no help. Tae-ho, in sales, is probably the only one at the dealership worth their salt. After fighting with them for TWO MONTHS, the dealership finally just took the car back and is issuing a refund, minus $800 in taxes/fees. I'll be picking up my check and never coming back. #2 UPDATE: Last year I had my Airmatic suspension Replaced by Autosource and guess what? The passengers backside is now leaking, so it's sagging. It hasn't even been 1 year yet (suspension repacked 10/2018). Should be under warranty, but honestly who the heck would want to go back there only to have their vehicle more of a mess. Smh!! The owner of this dealership (you know who you are) will make promises and give you his "word." Don't believe any of it!! It's been about 2 1/2 years now and we've taken my car back to them for so many repairs. Some were minor and some were major. For example: before you purchase a car, you may see a scratch and they'll tell you that they will fix it for you.. by fixing they mean using the little nail polish type paint you can buy in somewhere like Autozone. I could've done a better job myself. Onto the major problem.. I started hearing loud ringing sounds, (before taking it to Autosource, I took it to Lex Brodie's to confirm it was my suspension) called autosource up and they had me bring it down. What upsets me is the fact that the OWNER doesn't realize I have a background in automotive ;) So naturally because I'm a woman he tries to talk down to me (I enjoy acting like I don't know) as though I don't know what I'm talking about and pretty much blows off what I say. The owner greeted me when I brought my car in and made a smirk and told me the mechanic was going to ride with me to see "if there really is any sound." (Even after I told him that Lex Brodie's confirmed it's my air suspension) Guess what? The mechanic heard it and told me it was my air suspension. Lol! Thankfully it was fixed, fixed correctly- maybe not! I'll get to that in a bit. The beginning of this year we started having gear selector malfunctions. I couldn't shift it into drive or reverse. I took pictures and videos of the error message on my dash (which they claim they couldn't find from diagnostics?) Error codes usually get stored.. this is still an ongoing problem that they have not solved after 3 attempts. I even did research and asked them to check the intelligence box that stores the codes, maybe that's broken if it's not storing the error codes- he just blew what I said off. Just last Saturday I went down to pick my car up and the owner comes out and says they can't duplicate the problem blah blah making it sound like I made the whole thing up when I have pictures and videos to prove it (which I'll post). Mind you, I was told that they were going to do an alignment that I had requested.. once I started driving the car I could feel it pulling hard to the left and my steering seemed loose. Called them to find out if the alignment was done or not (I already knew it wasn't just by driving it, but wanted to hear what they were going to say) the owner told me the alignment wasn't done because they were probably booked and they usually do it off site. Nobody called to tell me that earlier?! Then the owner says sarcastically "what makes you think you need an alignment?" "I personally drove your car and it's running fine, there's nothing wrong with it." Well, I took into Lex Brodie's today and the district manager there approached me and told me that it was off by 3 degrees, that I shouldn't even be driving it in unsafe conditions like that. Come to find out Lex Brodie's did there best to get it to safe driving conditions, but told me take it to Mercedes and not back to Autosource because what ever Autosource did or fixed they can't undo it and it's affecting the alignment. I told the manager that was interesting because Autosource claimed to have done an alignment back in March. The manager was taken back- he said that there is no way they could've done an alignment, it's beyond repair and needs to go to Mercedes. Hold up.. the OWNER told me "he personally drove my car and it was fine." In fact he told me to drive it hard because it needs to be. We bought 3 luxury cars from Autosource, so you can say he knows us.. This is what turned my stomach- My husband jokingly told the owner why he sold us a junk and this is the response my husband got "well, if I had known you guys like I know you now, I would've never sold it to you." Wow! If you're reading this.. How do you sleep at night putting innocent families in broken cars and lying to their faces telling them that "you personally drove it and it's safe." When they finally agreed to fix only one issue of many the lender car they gave me was infested with bugs and they refused to help me in any way and said I would be charged if k didn't bring it right back when they should have came to get it! They'll charge you for making a car dirty but hey it's ok for you drive one with bugs right?! They only one issue my car had over 140 codes come up. Then I got it back refused to give me any paper work with what they fixed. I'll preface this by saying that I usually keep my cars for 10+ years and am careful about maintaining and servicing them. The last 2 cars I owned were used Lexus GS models because they're reliable luxury sport sedans and I was looking to replace my current one with another later model GS. While searching online I found 2 possible cars at AutoSource, both had very low mileage around 28K, so they met my criteria. I called to make an appointment to test drive both cars and decided to buy the later 2016 model and trade in my 2006. Here's where it gets good. The owner, Rima, asked me what price, including trade-in, would it take for me to drive it off the lot. I gave them my price and Rima thinks it over for a few seconds and says, "deal!". Now, I've been a small business owner for over 35 years so I understand it's not all about "taking" there's general excise tax that has to be paid on the list price and registration fees, etc. I gave what I thought would be a fair "out the door price" and it was accepted. I also told them I would pay by check, not credit card, so that may have also helped in negotiating the price (no CC fee). One of the tires had a small chip off the rubber that my sales person, Rob, had pointed out, so they said they would replace the tire at no charge. As the owner, Rima, is about to leave he turns around and tells me he'll replace all 4 tires! I thought, "Wow, cool!". Fast forward a week and I get the 4 new quiet Toyo tires installed. They didn't have or couldn't find the spare key fob so Rob had a duplicate made at no charge. I know from experience that having a spare fob made would run around $400, so I appreciated that. Another thing missing was the micro SD card for navigation. AutoSource made good on replacing that too, at no charge. Lastly, I was also told they would detail the car. It took a couple weeks to get that scheduled but it was completed yesterday and the car looks awesome, almost like a brand new vehicle. Initially, AutoSource struck me as being a rather unconventional car dealership, but everything they told me they would do, they did as promised. That's about all I can ask of a dealership. I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for a good used luxury-type vehicle and have done your homework. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE IF YOU VALUE THE MONEY IN YOUR POCKET!!!!!! They are robbing people left and right. They buy a car from auction, lift it and sell it for 75% over the fair value. For instance. I looked at a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 big horn edition 75,000 miles. It had a 6 inch lift (pro comp $2,000) and wheels and tires worth about $4,000. The fair purchase value for this truck was from 18,000-22,000 depending on condition. I would say the condition was good. Their asking price for it was $35,000. I asked them what the justification was for that price and they told me the lift, wheels and tires. After I told them what the actual value of all that stuff was plus the labor they then told me "well people buy it". That's ridiculous. Then the owner proceeded to ask if I was interested in selling my truck (2003 Ford F-250 60,000 miles, lifted with wheels and tires) I said sure. Price is 13,000. After he did his own research he told me "oh your truck isn't worth that much". Sucks when that shit is thrown back at you. Don't let these people rip you off. Do your research, find the fair purchase value and tack on a couple extra thousand if they did some lift work too it. But don't let them rob you because they will. They sold this poor guy a 2012 tundra for 80% markup while I was sitting there and then proceeded to act like he was an idiot for buying it when I was talking to them about it. They're rotten people. The salesmen has no knowledge of the cars that they were selling. They showed me 2 2WD trucks after I specifically said I wanted 4x4. Then acted surprised when I told them it was 2WD. I was being bounced around from sales guy to sales guy, then to manager. They lost their vehicles incorrectly on FB and then blame FB for messing up the listing. The 1 truck I test drive clearly had tons of problems (steering was off, alignment was off, loud knock in front end when turning, and screeching from brakes while just cruising down the road) and this was one of the trucks they had marked up 75%. Attached is the asking price from them on one of their trucks. Along with the after market parts they put on and their values. Lastly is the fair value of the truck. They told me that they pay $1,000 shipping for their lifts and wheels and tires. That's not the buyers fault that you pay so much for 2 day air shipping because you want to turn the truck around quick and get it back out on the lot. You gotta eat that cost yourself. If you want a lifted truck, do yourself a favor. Buy a stock truck (not from them). Buy the parts from 4wheel parts (in store pickup so shipping is about 75% less) take your truck in and pay to have them put it on. Or put it in yourself. You will save THOUSANDS of dollars. read more

I believe all I needed was changing out my brake fluid, and it seemed that AutoSource went that extra mile and ended up servicing everything. They also renewed my safety check, even though it was good till June. After dropping my vehicle the owner Rima contacted me and just wanted to clarify what type of service needed for my car. Buyer beware! Bait and switch tactics! I'm a healthcare worker and worked through the whole pandemic. Wanted to upgrade my car and reached out to them. Love the Jeep that I bought but the whole process has been frustrating. Told them I only had $1500 to put down well after signing I was told I needed another $3600 because of some loan issues. I paid it but then was told they never got it. I had to send them my bank records to show proof!! THEN was told I needed to pay an additional $950 WTF?!?! Like I need this added frustration on top of trying to help save lives! read more

I'm glad I didn't go on yelp before I went to a AUTOSOURCE. I have no idea why their rating is so low. I recently increased my Turo fleet and bought five cars from them and my experience has been amazing from the time I stepped foot onto their property. I saw one car I liked on car gurus and texted about it and the guy that got my text referred me to Kyle, who is the one that helped me with all my cars. He has been beyond amazing, helping me with everything I've needed or any questions I've had. He even helped me with a vehicle I didn't buy from them! Unless I want to buy a new car in the future, I plan on buying all my cars from Kyle at autosource! read more

**do not make the same mistake i did** if i could give them no stars then i would! bought a car from this company in april 2022 through the carousel leasing program. experienced problems with the first car i leased (tesla model 3). car was unable to charge in public charging stations. i addressed the situation with maureen (leasing manager), she seemed very uneducated on the tesla features and always busy to answer any of my questions. decided i didn't wanna deal with the car so a couple thousand dollars later i traded it to a model x. after 1 month of driving the new vehicle i get overcharged $200 more a month on what i was expected to pay. they made an error on my mothly payments but seems like no one was educated enough to give me an answer right away. they later reimbursed after many back and forth conversations. then i experienced, air suspension compressor disabled which causes the car to not lift to normal driving height. i addressed maureen once again, she passed me along to carlos who wasn't educated well enough in this department and told me i could only bring in my car to service on sundays which doesn't make sense at all. its an inconvenience to me that we invest in all this money to drive nice cars, for it to be running like trash! i tried to see what my options were but maureen doesn't know how to provide quality service to her clients. she doesn't respond back to any text/calls in a timely manner, but yet shes the only one that can handle scenario's like this. today i went in, in hopes we could work something out because it was an inconvenience to me. finally got a chance to speak with maureen today in person and she was not helpful in anyway and even told me to just end the lease. like seriously? i gave them so much business and this is how they treat their clients? so, since she stated that to me, the situation escalates and now im talking with rima (owner). at this point, im not interested in even continuing doing business with them! ive known rima for years and he didn't even get my name right! he basically sat there making excuses and blaming everything on his associates. like he needs take accountability and obviously educate his employees better!! this place is only concerned about $$$ when they should be more focused on building better relationships with their clients!! take this as a lesson learned and don't make the same mistake i did! if you want to be valued, then take your business elsewhere!! read more
