Clean, aesthetic, plenty of parking. The service was warm and friendly. Plenty of space inside and outside, many options, with a great variety. I ordered the cinnamon honey latte, nonfat, half sweet. It was perfect. I can't wait to come back and try the other offerings soon!

Have been waiting for a middle eastern coffee shop to open up in north OC & Baba's did not disappoint! Bright interior and plenty of seating for studying. Got a fig matcha & a knafe latte. Fig matcha was super creamy and no grainy matcha which is a must. Came with a cute little dried fig. Definitely get 100% or 75% sweet since i couldn't taste much fig at 50% sweet. Knafe came with kataifi on top of the cold foam which we loved. Also wish we opted for more sweetness for more knafe flavor.

I wish I can give this spot more than 5 stars, their customer service is top tier!! My group and I were greeted upon entering and the lady who helped us out being it was our first time took her time explaining the drinks to us in detail. We all ordered different drinks and in short can say we all enjoyed our drinks. I ordered the Knafeh latte and it was so flavorful but well balanced! They have plenty of seating, great decorations/aesthetic! Also, lots of parking since it is located in a shopping center. I have recommended this spot to so many people and can't wait to return and try other drinks!!

New palestinian coffee shop in OC, inspired by yala coffee! Cool interior with abundant seating & parking, so also a perfect study spot with low weekday traffic. If you had to choose only one drink, I'd highly recommend the fig matcha. An absolute favorite, so smooth & matcha forward!! Even with the ice melted, it still tasted strong. The vanilla cardamom matcha had a grainy aftertaste that took getting used to. Not sure if the matcha powder was the same as the base of the fig matcha...On the other hand, I fell in love with their cream top. Like a vanilla ice cream in my mouth! Their payment system was down that day, so they accidentally made my order twice and I got an extra free drink. Super sweet staff & good vibes! Definitely a hidden gem :-)

The first thing that stood out to me upon entering was the comfortable energy. Plenty of space to wait for your drink without feeling like you're awkwardly standing near other guests, or invading personal space. I feel most coffee shops struggle with this, but Babas has curated a perfect welcoming environment. Their coffee is good! They don't have unnecessary bells or whistles to dress up your drink. The flavor is pleasant and enjoyable. We definitely plan on returning to try more!

This is such a special coffee place, and you can feel it as soon as you walk in the door. Everything about Baba's felt homey, ancestral, and full of love. On top of that, the drinks are wonderful. I can't wait to go back. My best friend and I stopped by midday for a post-lunch treat, found easy parking in the large lot, and ordered three drinks between us: the peach blossom iced tea (so light and refreshing), the fig matcha (a customer favorite and I can totally see why, as it was creamy and unique), and the knafeh latte (the cheese foam with the knafeh crumbles were unlike any latte topping we've seen!). All three were distinct and delicious. Pricing was average; my two drinks were $15, which is what two specialty coffee shop beverages will run you nowadays, so it didn't seem exorbitant compared to, say, what two drinks would cost you at a Starbucks (booooo). The baristas were efficient and easygoing, even when the line got long. There was lots of seating in different spaces throughout, plus a large TV that had the World Cup game of the day on at the time. We'd been meaning to try this place since my bestie is Palestinian, and she called it a 10/10 experience. I concur! Five stars isn't enough.

I have been seeing Baba's Coffee Corner all over my social media and I knew I had to go check it out and support a Palestinian and women owned coffee shop. I went on a Thursday around 10am to do some work. I was able to find a seat and stayed there till 1ish working. Everything on the menu looked great but I went with their love island inspired drink - heart pancake latte! I also ordered an everything bagel with Za'atar cream cheese to try it out. One of the baristas was so nice and told me if I didn't like the za'atar (which is Palestinian spices they add to the bagel), she would make me another one. I liked it, not sure if I would get it again but I'm glad I tried it! My drink was good! It was the right amount of sweet and espresso. I want to come back to the rest of their drinks, especially the matcha. The France and Morocco game was playing later that morning and it got packed! There was great community and it was just so lively. I have to shout out the staff, they were so kind. I really loved coming to do work here and will definitely be back. Can't wait to take people here!

What a cute spot! From the outside it looks like your average coffee spot but when you walk in you are greeted with beautiful decor that helps create the atmosphere. The spot was packed with people, lively chatter, exactly the type of environment that makes you want to stay for a while. There's a good amount of seating and you can choose from tables, a bar top, or even a couch/lounge chairs. I ordered a matcha americano which was solid, it had a nice strong flavor which indicates a lot of matcha was used which is always appreciated in my book. I also tried their vanilla cardamom matcha which was really delicious! I am a huge cardamom fan and despite me getting less sweetener the cardamom flavor still came through nicely. The only thing I wish was for the cold foam to have more of a cardamom flavor, I was only able to taste vanilla in that but I was still happy with the drink as a whole. Each matcha will cost you about $8.50 which is a decent price given the size and that they don't overdo it on the ice. If you're in the area I would highly recommend!

Stopped in here midweek around 10am because my daughter was with me and she has been wanting to check this place out. The business is tucked in the back but fairly easy to find. Plenty of available parking. There are tables and chairs available outside. The inside was very spacious with tables and chairs of all sizes and I believe there were a few benches/couches too. They offer their standard menu but also have some fun seasonal drinks. There were a few people in line ahead of us but the line moved quickly. Our order was placed with ease and we didn't have to wait long to receive our drinks. I ordered the S'mores latte and my daughter got the cinnamon honey latte. Both were the perfect amount of coffee and sweetness with the flavor profiles accurately portrayed. I look forward to going back and trying different drinks. What was fun to observe at this coffee spot was all of the familiar faces that the baristas saw walking through the door. A true sense of community. My daughter was also telling me that they have hosted game nights too.

Came here on a weekday afternoon to catch up with a friend and really loved the vibe here! There's lots of parking, which made it super easy to visit. It's a Middle Eastern culture inspired cafe with such cute decor that makes the space feel cozy, warm, and homey. They also had really cute merch! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My friend and I both got the fig matcha with oat milk and it was sooo good! It was a little on the sweeter side at first, but once the ice melted a bit it tasted perfect :) Definitely coming back to try the Knafeh latte and the vanilla cardamom matcha!

I've been in the mood lately to support MENA (Middle East North African) coffee shops so when this opened up I had to check it out! Located in a strip mall, parking was easy. Baba's Coffee Corner is literally in the corner of the strip mall. As you walk in, you're automatically transported to Palestine. There's olive trees all over, kafeyas and old school newspaper clippings all over the wall. I absolutely loved it! Now let me tell you I wanted to try all of the drinks!. I got the cinnamon honey latte. It tasted so good! The espresso was there as well as the sweetness of the honey and cinnamon. They even topped it with a cold foam with cinnamon powder and pistachioes. They also had knafeh lattes as well as a vanilla cardamom latte. I love the vibe over here. They even have community events. I will be back for sure.

I'm sorry but I paid 9.16 for their knafeh latte, the size of the cup was so small for that insane price, the knafeh latte wasn't good at all, the quality of the coffee was so watery, I can't lie and say that I'll ever visit again. WOW! My brother and I walked in today around 1oclock we ordered our usual fig matcha with vanilla cold foam and their knafeh latte we sat down and waited while we were waiting we notice two people complaining about their fig matcha, honestly I love the way you guys do your drinks and the sweetness levels are good as is. I am so happy I stumbled upon this place not only is it such a beautiful shop, the workers are so extremely kind! Even before walking in they say Goodmorning and actually talk with you. Tried this local gem today! This place is tucked in a corner of a shopping center off Katella. Love the decor of the place when you first walk in. Service was nice! Warmly greeted and the cashier asked what my sister in law and I like - matcha or coffee. Really refreshing to have a cashier/barista ready to provide recommendations. We both responded matcha and she recommended the fig matcha which we both got! My sister in law got it with oat milk while I kept mine with whole milk. Both of us loved our matchas! I saw on my Instagram feed that this coffee shop was opening up and knew I had to stop by eventually. Safe to say I was not disappointed at all. Baba's Coffee Corner is such a cute coffee shop with such a meaningful backstory behind it, tying in the OC cafe culture with a Palestinian twist. Sophia, the owner, is a delight to talk to and is behind the bar making the drinks herself. My friend and I both got the Knafeh Latte, which was perfectly sweet and encapsulated the authentic knafeh flavor into a latte. Their merchandise is also adorable and I had to buy a "Bint Baba" (Daddy's Girl) hat with my drink. The space in this cafe is ample and they have outlets on the wall, perfect for studying. Overall, this cafe has quickly risen on my list of Orange County cafes that I enjoy, and I will most definitely be a repeat customer. read more

So happy to have more Palestinian businesses in OC. Overall the service was great! The baristas are kind and helpful. There is enough seating and fast internet. I ordered the knafeh latte since it's their most popular drink. To me, it was just too sweet and milky. I couldn't taste the coffee. My mom who is not a coffee lover and her favorite drink at St*rbucks is a frap, loved her drink here. With tax and before tip it came at about $10 per drink which not going to lie, felt expensive. If you are a coffee lover like me and looking for good speciality coffee, I am not sure I'd order coffee here, maybe a refreshment instead? I do hope they keep expanding their menu, I'd love to eat more Palestinian pastries and food items. read more

10/10 coffee shop! So worth a visit. The service was impeccable, the owner helped us and she's just the sweetest. Her warmth alone made us want to return! But the coffee?? Delicious. Both my husband and I finished our coffees within 10 minutes. The Knafeh latte is amazing, the crunchy topping is unique and tasty. My husband got Baba's Latte and it was a little stronger on the coffee end, but also a 10/10. Can't wait to go back and try more menu items. I came here a couple weekends ago and my first impression was it's an okay place. The barista gave me the wrong drink and most places will offer the messed up drink as well or a free pastry but no. I get mistakes happen but not even an apology. Idk if the vibe they were going for was at home in your living room but that was what I was getting. WOW !! I loved this new coffee shop. This was genuinely so fun to visit and felt like I was back in the Middle East! The beautiful decor and everything was so planned out when designing this shop! The owner Sophia is the sweetest and all of the staff were so welcoming. We ordered the fig matcha (we added vanilla cold foam), vanilla cardamon matcha, knafeh latte, everything bagel za'tar cream cheese, and a chocolate chip cookie. Baba's should be called Momma Sam's but this is the best coffee shop in Orange County. We tried the Kanafe Latte with sweet cream cheese cold foam, the iced vanilla cardamom and the honey cinnamon (tastes like baklava in coffee form). All of the drinks are delicious and the decor is really cool with so many interesting things to look at. read more

First time here. Very cute ambiance and clean cafe. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There was only two people working when I went, but they were polite and friendly. There were a couple drinks I had my eye on but I ended up ordering the fig matcha because I hadn't had it before and I hadn't seen it on other menus. I ordered mine with "less sweetness" and it ended up being really good! I do wish they offered different sizes, because I like my caffeine a lot. Will come back soon. read more

From the moment i walked in i could feel the love, thought, and intention put into this place. Babas is 10/10 no notes and i work in coffee. So grateful i found this place, it'll be my new daily go to. They're in soft opening right now so hours of operation are 10-2 but once fully launched they'll be open from 7:30-4. Incredible spot to be involved in. Music is a little loud but it's an awesome environment to get work done. There's lounge seating and multiple tables. Outside seating is offered as well if you want the fresh air. Friendly service and good wait time. Didn't try the food but saw they had cookies and bagels to start with. Months ago, one of my friends had made a visit and overheard an elderly woman making a negative comment about a Pride flag displayed by the register. Obviously other customers comments cant be or shouldn't be controlled by the company, but we were extremely disappointed to find out that since that comment was made, the Pride flag has been taken down. I had ran in to grab a drip before work one morning and noticed that some of the baristas also no longer had their Pride flag pins on. This clearly has details I am unaware of but it seems obvious that corporate had those images removed. This makes me and my friends feel very uncomfortable with how this situation was treated. I wouldn't recommend any of my friends to support this kind of activity. One very simple solution for you: Bring back the flag and you'll bring back our buisness! If you're worried about more complaints from individuals like the elderly woman, maybe fly an American flag as well I simply want people to feel safe and accepted.

Today we stopped by to grab an Italian sandwich, and I just cannot believe they served me bread that was so old and dry - it would have been perfect for croutons, but definitely nothing like what we had at the Taste of Orange. The bread was so dry I had to dress it up with some olive relish to eat it - I don't expect when I pay $31 for a sandwich and chai iced tea latte to get home and have to start working on my sandwich. I accept some responsibility for this, because honestly, who goes to a coffee shop for a sandwich.

Ordering with no ice shouldn't make the strawberry ingredient completely disappear. And both of them looked pretty unfriendly too. Also that matcha drink was too sweet and ended up throwing it away. Given that this cafe charges premium prices compared to others, I expect much better and more honest customer service.

These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

Baba's Coffee Corner was such a great find! The service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about creating a great experience. I tried the strawberry matcha and a knafeh latte, and both were delicious. The strawberry matcha was refreshing, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The knafeh latte was equally impressive and tasted fresh and well-crafted. I always appreciate supporting local businesses, especially when they combine great products with outstanding customer service. Baba's Coffee Corner definitely delivered on both. Baba's Coffee Corner has quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots! The owner, Sophia, is seriously the sweetest and creates such a welcoming atmosphere every time you walk in. My absolute favorite drink is the Knafeh Latte! it's so unique and honestly one of the best lattes I've ever had. You can tell they really care about quality and flavor of their drinks. Finally tried Baba's and it did not disappoint. I got the baba latte and the strawberry cream matcha and both were honestly so good -- the latte was smooth and perfectly balanced and the strawberry cream matcha was beautiful, the flavors just work together really well. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, not in a fake way either, and the place was really clean which I always appreciate. def coming back soon, highly recommend!! read more

This is the most welcoming and spacious coffee shop I've ever been to that offers an authentic experience and artisan quality beverages.
