#4 Eggwich with Bacon and cheese
    Cody W.

Decided to give this location a shot since I work next door and enjoy the Walnut Creek location. Was a little hesitant given the other reviews but a breakfast bagel sandwich sounded good. To my surprise, the breakfast sandwich was great as was the latte. Will be coming back when I'm in the office.

Egg, Cheese, and Meat Eggwich on a plain bagel

I got this Eggwich on a plain bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. When I took it home and heated it up, it looked disgusting. The bacon wasn't cooked and it looked like mystery meat! I took the Eggwich back to Bagel Street Cafe, and the lady gave me a flimsy excuse why my Eggwich looked like something I've never seen before. She gave me my money back, but she had an attitude and she didn't apologize for my inconvenience driving back to the cafe to get my money back because my sandwich was jacked up. I did get a refund, but I will not return to Bagel Street Cafe any time in the near future.

Service was good, I ordered the chicken club sandwich and it was amazing. So crispy and the crunch on it was just perfect. The store itself was a regular clean cafe with an expresso machine :)

This place is horrible....the food is extremely low quality. I got a bacon egg and cheese and a jalapeño cheddar bagel..hard to mess up, but they did it. The eggs were completely dried out, the bacon was not good at all, bagel was flat/tough, and the cheese wasn't even melted. Will not be returning here. We only went because sunrise bagel was closed on vacation. They need to re evaluate where they source their ingredients and how they prepare them because this was a bordeline inedible sandwich

This is a chain bagel place near Whole Foods San Ramon. They have been around a while and serve their customers nicely. They cafe is nicely maintained. The bagels and sandwiches are always consistently good. We typically get the turkey sandwich add avocado. The bagels are freshly sliced and toasted before adding the ingredients. They have a full service espresso machine for those of us that like our lattes. They serve fresh bagels. If you come late in the day you won't have many choices which is a good thing. Whereas this isn't a typical Jewish bagel in Manhattan but is definitely better than supermarket bagels.

Perfect quick snack post run. Staff was nice and efficient. Bagel was delicious. Nice sitting area.

    1/2 a tuna melt and 1/2 a BLT

Oldie but goodie. Haven't been here in years. Was driving my mom around on errands and ended up at Target just before the lunch rush around 11-ish. Hadn't eaten breakfast so decided to grab a bite while waiting for mom. Huge bagels and they don't stint on fillings. Loved the shatteringly crisp bacon on my BLT. Mom was more interested in shopping but I got her a tuna melt ToGo. The tuna needed a dash of salt but the open faced sandwich was so big she only ate half of a half. Prices have gone up but then everything has so can't complain. Staff was patient as I reviewed the menu. It helped that there was no line behind me.

The shop is located in a plaza with several eateries, and it sits right by a courtyard with tables and chairs. There are a few tables inside as well. They are very efficient with their morning rush. I was ordering for several people, so I thought it would be more efficient to place my order online, even though it does state that their prices are 14% higher when ordering online (via Doordash). However, when I came to pick up my order, I was shocked that the online prices are WAY more than 14% higher. For example, their most popular item, the Eggwich with cheese and meat, is $8.45 online and only $6.39 in store. That's 32%. Ouch! PRO TIP: order in store if you're gonna go in to pick up anyway. So, how was the food? Actually quite good. What we got: + Eggwich with ham and cheese - bagel was soft and there was a decent amount of ham and eggs. + Eggwich with sausage and cheese on Jalapeno cheese bagel - the Jalapeno bagel was spicier than I expected. I had to pluck off a few Jalapenos, but I enjoyed the sandwich. + Pastrami sandwich on a roll - this was served on dutch crunch. Sandwich was tasty with a generous amount of pastrami and a good combination of veggies. Overall, a good bagel/sandwich shop in a great location. Their sandwiches are quite large for the low (in store) prices. Oh, they also have boba tea drinks and Vietnamese coffee. But we didn't try any of the drinks.

My go-to is always an original glazed as it's not covered up with frills and distractions from truly tasting the dough. At first look, it wasn't overly opague aka covered in sugar glaze. I love a good raspberry jelly donut. Again, nice chew and not too sweet. Filling didn't have that artificially taste and spread evenly with each bite. I enjoyed it. DD loved the chocolate cake with cereal top. She didn't share bc it was that good to her. Hubs ate the chocolate glaze and maple bar by himself so I couldn't taste either. I guess the fam enjoyed it. Wish they had some French Cruellers as that's another favorite of mine. Before we had the sweets, we did share a croissant bacon egg cheese sandwich. Ngl, I was pleasantly surprised. Look at the disappointing avocado schmear in the picture. You have to search for it. I think it was actually guac too. We did think that it might have been guac since the menu doesnt have avocado, just guac. Which is why we specifically asked if they could do avocado-- and we saw another review mention that they got avocado. They said yes, but if it was going to be guac, I wish they corrected us. The bagel with cream cheese was good but they were VERY stingy with the cream cheese. It was such a thin layer I could barely taste it. The bagel and the bagel sandwich were both room temperature/cold, not warmed even a little. The sandwich was packed full of red onion and red bell pepper with several tomato slices. The cheese was sparse. The sandwich was very flavorful. The jalapeño cheddar bagel is good because there is jalapeño all throughout, not just on top. That's good because the bagel they gave me 2 of the 3 jalapeños on top were missing; I could see where they had been but they weren't on my bagel. I'd go back but I wouldn't frequent. It's not bad, and I think if I had paid $2 instead of $6 for my bagel with cream cheese and $5 instead of $10 for the sandwich I would be much more enthusiastic. It's just with those prices, I expect it to be fantastic. One other note is they were out of sprouts and to indicate this they put a sticky note on the computer that just said "no sprouts". They were not informing anybody of the lack of sprouts when the orders were placed, but rather shouted across the shop at a woman who ordered a sandwich to tell her by the way, there are no sprouts. The sign should have said "we are out of sprouts" or the customer should have been informed upon ordering.

It's in a corner of a very cute gourmet food hall and had a good selection of goods left in mid-afternoon on a weekday. Service is also friendly and prompt. I had to get the kouign amann because I always get one wherever I can, and also picked up a plain croissant, currant scone, and panna cotta. The KA was decent; I would call this one a diet KA because they only put the sugar on one side so it was more like a brulee'd croissant. I also have to admit that, while this shaping is very attractive, the direction of the lamination makes eating this feel like shards in my mouth. However, flavor was excellent. The plain croissant is very plain. It's decent but I've had better. The scone and panna cotta, however, were delightful. Both had lovely soft textures and wonderful creamy flavors. The scone held up for two days and wasn't even a bit stale when I finally had it for breakfast. Highly recommend this tucked-away bakery in the Castro Valley!

Seven Hills Baking Co was my first stop as I haven't had sourdough since childhood. I got their classic sourdough loaf. Even though it wasn't warm anymore it was still amazing. It was quite hard to cut into with a serrated bread knife, which I'm not sure whether that's normal or abnormal for gluten sourdough. However, the inside was lovely and soft. Nice strong sour flavor, spongy dough that was almost moist (not at all dry). I want to note on the gluten free front that seven hills baking co offers a few items which they advertise to be gluten free. Though the ingredients may be gluten free, the items are baked in the same kitchen, the same oven, and then put side by side with the gluten in the display case. Furthermore I don't believe their ingredients are all certified gluten free. Therefore I do not recommend seven hills baking co for anybody with celiac disease. Do not buy your friend with a gluten allergy or celiac these items. There is most certainly cross contact.
