Good restaurant. I was part of the group that the previous reviewer did. The person never ordered a skirt steak or flank steak. They ordered a big steak that the waiter specifically stated comes with sides. It was a mess, we were left at the restaurant for about an hour later so the bills were properly splitted. Not acceptable. The food is good and I have been there about three times already and it's always good, quality food. I can't leave 5 stars yet, but that may improve with time, when I see that they can get it together with the Service. Food is 5 stars, service is 1. Hence, the 3 stars. Try their lunch specials, they are $19 plus tax, tip, drinks and coffee, which will make your bill to raise up to $26. Not bad for a good steakhouse, even though "La Rural", around the corner has the same special with the same quality for $13. read more

We gave eaten here twice and both times the food has been excellent. I had the Skirt Steak the first time and Ahi Tuna the next. I also had Smashed Butternut Squash as a side and a Quinoa Salad to start. Everything was very good. It's so nice to have a great restaurant in Weston. read more

Place is nice and food was good. Service was rushed and server barely gave you a second to speak... We requested to sit away from the entertainment but they sat us right in front of it making it loud to speak to the person next to you. Felt rushed and pushed out. This is a really beautiful, more upscale with a casual feels. For old time Westonites, this is the same location where Max's Grille used to be. Food and service are quite good. The portion is large so for a few extra bucks you pay here it actually is a good deal. They offer a variety of wine and also have a full bar, though I have not tried ordering any mixed drinks yet. I have been there for lunch 5 times since June and I've never disappointed. I really hope they get enough business to continue being here in Weston. read more

The worst experience I have had in my entire life. The food was great, but the service was absolutely horrible. My friend and I went out to dinner here with my son and not only did it take 15 mins to be greeted it took another 20 to order an appetizer and didn't even get to order our dinner until 30 mins after we finished the starters because the waitress never came to check on anything at all. She was the worst server ever! I've been serving tables for 10 years myself and I feel completely disgusted. There was absolutely no service at all. Even other servers had to come and remove plates from the table because they were sitting there so long. Then has the nerve to ask if we want dessert after waiting an additional 20 minutes for the check. I will never be back and I hope management gets involved in some way. read more

The service was good and environment was pleasant. The skirt steak for 2 however was the worst cut of steak i have ever had in a restaurant. Don't know how they can justify charging $62 for the 2 person steak that was 3/4 fat. Nothing to eat. Unimpressed however in all fairness we perhaps didn't order what they're known for. Crab cake was terrible and bronzino overcooked.

We tried this place for the first time a couple weeks ago and after great food amazing service and atmosphere decided to come back and it was even better the second go around. My husband is Argentinian and he is very particular about his steaks and authenticity. We used to go to the place across the street (will not say the name) for many years until they sold it to different owners and the quality went way down. We decided to try Baires because we heard many great things about it. We went last evening and our waiter was Julio. We were very impressed with the decor, ambiance, and great service. We started with the tablita which had sweetbreads, empanada, and sausage. It was served with a warm basket of bread accompanied by chimichurri and a guava infused butter. Everything was cooked perfectly and it was fantastic. We ordered the regular skirt steak for dinner with Russian salad. The Russian salad was not on the menu but we asked as this is a very popular Argentinian side dish. Julio stated that they did have it but it was not listed on the menu. When we got our entree, it was cooked perfectly and the Russian salad tasted divine. Everything was so flavorful and not bland at all. For dessert we ordered the pancakes with dulce de leche, this was prepared flambé style at our table by Julio with rum and served with vanilla ice cream. Our first experience at Baires was remarkable and the service was impeccable! We went back today for lunch to try the Milanese as my husband loves that for lunch. Again, everything was delicious and we will definitely be returning. We are so happy that we tried Baires! read more

This is our second time to this wonderful Argentinian Restaurant and we were treated like family! We went on a late Sunday afternoon and we sat at the Chef's Table, we pretty much had the place to ourselves, (they close early on Sundays). The staff is so welcoming and happy to recommend plates to try and help with wine selections.The food was as good the second time as the first. We love it here. Can't wait to return. Popped in for a late dinner to be pleasantly surprised! Warm toasty bread with butter to start. The Malbec was smooth and truly enjoyable for both my husband and I, who are not regular wine drinkers. We ordered the Skin Skirt Steak for Two as recommended by our server Diego (who was wonderful and explained every option) and as he sliced through the still sizzling steak we delighted in the taste of our side dishes: THE BEST mashed potatoes we've ever had... and the delicious mashed squash sweetly made dessert unnecessary. The steak was nothing short of a soft, juicy, flavorful bliss. And then, we dared to try it with their chimichurri (consider us chimichurri snobs) and found ourselves at at an even higher level of happiness! My husband preferred to take some of the skin layer off but it didn't bother me - Diego explained that this hard-to-get-to meat-behind-the-skin has the best flavor... and we surely agreed! I have dinner most every Friday's at Baires grill. Must say that Belen and Fernando always give us fantastic service, the food is always great. My only suggestion will be to add a few more items to the appetizers section,and call the provoleta cheese for what it really is (Mozarella) Other than that great service, great food.!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Let's start with the service which was OK, just ok. They have a very limited selections of beer, so if you stick to wine you are ok. We ordered there special skirt and it was loaded with fat, nothing worse than bitting into fat. As a side we ordered the truffle oil French fries with parmesIan, tasted exactly like the regular French fries my daughter ordered, only difference was a hand full of parmesIan thrown on top. Will never come back again. Our waiter took our drink order and then never came back. A nearby bartender saw how miserable we were and took our order for a 2nd time. The original waiter never returned until he brought the bill. He didn't even bother bringing any bread either. The best part is they gave me a table that was not balance and was rocking all over the place and my beer spilled a couple of times. read more

We went to the Weston location last night to celebrate my birthday. We decided we wanted to try something new, so we drove from Pembroke Pines and we were NOT disappointed!! From the service to the food to the ambiance were spot on! We each had a Skirt Steak and my mom had the Branzino. I enjoy my steaks rare and often have trouble getting them grilled properly. This steak was perfectly cooked. The service was also amazing. There wasn't a moment when we were searching for someone. My dad loves steak, so when I saw an ad for this place on Facebook, I tagged my mom. She made a reservation for our family. There were 13 of us in all. The restaurant is very clean and roomy. Our large party sat at a table in the back room. One of our chairs was right in the way of the wine fridge, but we put my grandson's baby stroller in that spot, so it worked out. The waiter was nice and sincere, but he did not remember who ordered what. We had to help him. (Not really an issue, though.) He did drop a fork down my back when he went to pick something up from the table. I looked at my clothes when I got home and there is a small stain. I am sure I can wash it out tomorrow. What got me was the prices. I understand spending a lot ($38) for a 16 oz. ribeye steak, and I must say my rib eye was tender and well marbled. But every side item was an additional charge and a can of soda was $3.50. I could buy an entire case on sale at Publix for that price. I amnot sure this place will be able to stay in business with those kinds of prices. Rents in Weston are high and I feel like this restaurant would be one that only gets business when someone has a special occasion. read more
