I went to Banh Mi Crunch on August 3rd, 2026. It was for a family outing at Golden Gate Park, and I called ahead to order 8 sandwiches (a variety of lemon grass beef, pork, and chicken). They had the sandwiches ready on time (all bagged) - the proprietor/cashier (I believe he was the same gentleman I spoke with on the phone when I made my order) was very friendly and helpful. And the sandwiches were all very delicious (beef, pork and chicken) - I tried each type. Plenty of meat, and vegetables (and Cilantro). The bread was fresh and of good texture and taste. Also, appreciated by gringos like myself - and something I hadn't experienced at other Banh Mi restaurants - they added mayonaise to the sandwiches. Most of my family liked the Lemon Grass Beef, but I'm partial to the chicken and pork (the Beef was good, but we all have our different preferences). As a post-script comment. Later that same day, I noticed my day calendar was missing. I was hoping it would turn up later, but thought I most likely had lost it at Golden Gate Park (where we had our picnic). I had pretty much given up on finding it, but thought it wouldn't hurt to call Banh Mi Crunch, to see if I had dropped it there. Sure enough, the gentleman I spoke with said they had found it, and were holding it for me (August 12th, over a week later).
