Being surprised at a $22 price for a cocktail in miami beach at a high end restaraunt? Come on. Music a bit loud at times as the night got later which was completely expected Service- 9/10 - very attentive waitress, a bit tough to give 10/10 service given how busy and loud it was but overall very solid Drinks - 10/10 - absolutely fantastic margarita (little bit of spice which is perfect) Food 11/10- when every bite of every course gives you a foodgasm, you know the restaurant is doing something special. Here is what we ordered, virtually every one of them a standout. - tuna and crispy rice - tuna watermelon with shaved black truffle add on (for only $15 extra this was totally worth it) - wagyu asaparagus roll with truffle sauce (not sure exact name, but it was a special). I had to leave a review after having dinner at Baoli. We arrived for my friends reservation on Wednesday as we heard this was the best night to go for the ladies night while my friends were in town. We arrived in a group of 8 and were greeted at the door by Manu who couldn't have been nicer, he was in the middle of dealing with some drunk aggressive people but made sure to take care of us. I don't know how he keeps his cool inside our server was Stefan and he was the sweetest, we loved his accent! Food was ok but I would say the service and ambiance is what stood out to us the most! The vibe of this place is like a big, socially distanced party with excellent service. Usually when a restaurant has such a club-like vibe you expect it to be lacking in the food/service department. I am so glad we are here tonight. It was fantastic from start to finish. We started with the Grilled Shishito Peppers. They were perfect. Then we had the Spicy Hamachi Tuna Tacos and the Salmon Tacos. I can't describe the levels of flavor, the crispy taco, the lingering soumptous taste in my mouth. I could eat them all day long. While en route to the restaurant my guests started calling me because upon check in the restaurant kept telling them there was no reservations for us in the system. Upon arrival I showed the host my signed contract for a group of 15 people (apparently someone forgot to put our reservation in the system). After a bit of back and forth we were finally seated. The food was good and came out really fast. The salmon and steak were good but nothing that was out of this world. I will say the drinks were excellent and probably the best part of the meal. For the area that we are in, it's pretty comparable to the surrounding area. Everything in this surrounding area is going to be the same price and it's all about Aesthetics. It looked nice coming in, like a place for pictures and photos but if you want something intimate where your going to hear the person your with, this isn't the place. It has a very energetic vibe. The sushi was average, I've had better tasting sushi at Publix. Different drinks, extra food, etc.... We tried not to make a big deal out of it and told her to please just fix it but she responded extremely rude.
