Great experience at the Century City Nordstrom Bar Verde! New Spacious rooftop patio with amazing views of Century City high rises buildings. I ordered the turkey avocado bacon sandwich with French Fries, which was amazing and filling and for an appetizer I had their Brussels sprouts recommended by our waitress. I must say everything tasted amazing! The service was fast and friendly and that's always a plus when your shopping or on your lunch break. I particular like the bar which offers so many delicious drinks as well as a killer dessert menu. The ambiance is great with succulents decor and great quality patio furniture. Will return soon and try out some new dishes and of course I will save room for dessert. read more

Best cocktails in the area I'd have to say. It's hard to find somewhere with good craft cocktails. Bar Verde is definitely one to check out and have happy hour here. They even have 'seasonal' cocktails here. Halloween had an blood orange cocktail with great flavors. The mushroom pasta was really tasty too. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The only thing that is annoying, thus I am giving it a 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is that they don't validate parking. Other restaurants in the mall validate so it would be nice for them to validate as well so that we don't have to pay $9 dollars (like I did) just to dine here. read more

Randomly dined here Friday night with another couple. Booked a reservation on OpenTable without any trouble. We had a lovely table on the patio. The ambiance was nice and they actually played some really great background music. Travis was our server and he was attentive and wonderful. We all had a round of drinks which we all enjoyed. Then shared some starters...calamari, brussels sprouts and the cilantro lime chicken tacos. You only get two small tacos per order. All delicious starters! And I highly recommend the tomato soup! For entrees we had the Neapolitan pizza, Shrimp salad (omg so good!), and the other couple had a Caesar salad and the spaghetti with meatballs. All of the portions were the perfect size and everything was so yummy! We will definitely be back! Great new addition to the CC mall. read more

Promising until my mom hurt her teeth with couple of small hard pieces (not edible, prolly bone pieces) in the spaghetti and meatballs! The most unsettling part of this experience is that the server and Karina the manager were far from empathetic and/or apologetic considering the situation. They acted like we were at fault and we were the inconvenience. The server even got really rude at us at the end of the dinner. Very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. Just ate there and also bought a hamburger to go. The hamburger had a bone in it and chipped my wife's front tooth. She had perfect teeth until now. The out of pocket expense for tooth repair was $1,870. That's one expensive hamburger. Secondly the Brussel sprouts are more link burnt sprouts...to the point they are flaky charcoal debris. Im extremely upset at this moment. I spend a lot of money at Nordstrom's and to think that they would even host this restaurant changes my plans to shop here anymore. let me start by saying that this is the worst Bar Verde i have ever been to. Don't know if they are new but whatever it is they are just terrible. I love bar verde but after this experience i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. So the plates that they serve you food in have this brown design in there and as i was having my food i noticed there is this old washed lettuce or whatever it was that was stuck to the plate. That is DISGUSTING! i was having food in someone else's left over dirty place. So i confronted the waiter that was there and he immediately switched my plate then our waitress comes asking how everything was and i asked her if she knew what happened and she said oh no i had no idea. No apology what so ever. I also took a picture of the receipt to remember the name of the waitress. Avoid this place there is so many other restaurants that value their customers. Let me start with the best part which is the food is excellent here. Louis (Luis) Is a great server. Here is the what drives us crazy when dining at a nice restaurant, The runners do not follow the positions on the table so they arrive and ask who gets what. We call that auctioning off food. After this happening numerous times we approached the manager and explained the situation. We were informed if this occurs again we would be treated to lunch. The next time we sat down, we explained to our server in advance this situation and she assured us it would not occur. Guess what? Happened again We got the manager Enrique, barely offered an apology and said they would not be buying us lunch, then asked us if we were still "working", another food industry no no. I explained to him, he is working and we most certainly are not. This left a terrible distaste about the whole experience and unless it is corrected we will not be returning. I reached out to Hiro General manager and he never bothered to return my call! Lack of care for their customers it's very evident. Best cocktails in century City. There's a lot of low quality places around and it's hard to always find the places that make a quality cocktail. Wish the billionaire cocktail was on the happy hour menu / at happy hour price. Love the patio, Wish they made it easier to be out there and enjoy it. Also wish they had a better dog policy...that will hopefully change soon across LA and the rest of the state. read more

Food here is good, of the quality you typically expect from Nordstrom restaurants. We got the calamari, Brussels sprouts, and seasonal salad. Everything was tasty, but I found the portions smaller than what I've received at other Nordstroms, and at a higher cost too. That would be my main complaint. Service is pretty good here, and I like the overall atmosphere. Solid food but nothing to write home about, and for the portion size I think I would probably skip it since there are so many other options at the mall. read more

This restaurant is underrated for the food and atmosphere it offers. I love the flatbreads and the salads, but the hamachi is my fav. The prices are totally reasonable, especially in this area. Cocktail menu has a variety of fun drinks without having to deal with crazy parking and/or annoying drunk people. I like it! read more

Lovely light & bright relaxing quiet spot to have a nice lunch or meeting where you can have a private conversation. Gorgeous patio if you want to sit outside. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We had the Caesar salad with wild salmon, kale salad, and roasted tomato basil soup. Unfortunately, service was not super professional. The waiter kind of forgot about us and he never came back with our credit cards, so we had to go up to the front ourselves. Overall, a great place to go in Century City when you want to relax & unwind from the work day and/or the hectic feeling of the mall. read more
