Felt the quesadillas were a good portion, but too salty. The basement had another bar with a speakeasy vibe. There were more restroom stalls downstairs as the main floor had only three restrooms. It's exactly what you would expect walking into a sports bar. First thing that' hit walking in at 8pm on a Wednesday is the strong smell of beer, which honestly transported me back in time to when I used to frequent the OG Barney's Beanery in Hollywood back in the day. The glow of all the TV screens showing various sports were like the ads in rotation in Time Square, kind of in your face, but appropriate for the vibe. I met a friend for a light supper at the bar before headed up to the Road Dogs Comedy upstairs at 9. We both had fish and chips. Easily could have split one order, portions were very generous. We ascended the stairs to the pool tables room that had many players cued up. Looks like it hadn't been updated since it was Qs back in the 90s. The comedy was outside on the back patio, a cool intimate venue with a bar just inside the door for self service. We watched for an hour while young comics tried out their material. Located in Old Town Pasadena, this spot is convenient for when I want to go out and watch Football. I like that each booth has a t.v. so you can watch your favorite team. I recommend getting there early to secure a table or make a reservation. The menu is extensive. Breakfast is served all day in addition to burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, pizza, soups, salads, loaded fries, and their signature chili. Drinks are stiff and beers are ice cold. I used to come here for a night cap when it first opened. The décor is kitsch with license plates on the ceiling and sports rock 'n' roll memorabilia on the walls. Q's Billard is upstairs and opens at 6 pm. I think this location used to be Q's back in the day. Tiki B's is downstairs and is open on Friday & Saturday nights at 8 pm with Karaoke at 9:30 pm My friend & I stopped in for a quick drink. I had a vodka soda & he had a beer. This is my favorite Barney's. There is one closer to me on Burbank, but I prefer this one. We came on a Saturday afternoon. Place was pretty empty at the time. We found a table pretty quickly. Table was conveniently located in front of a big screen TV and the broncos were playing. My friend and I both ordered burgers and had a few rounds of n/a micheladas. The burgers were cooked to perfection and were very tasty. We also ordered some fried pickles and those were very crispy and fresh. Our server was very attentive, very nice and friendly. It seems like a popular sports bar that is heavily decorated, especially for the holidays and has TVs scattered about. Particularly nice that each booth had their own tv. It is a typical sports bar, a loud fun environment with pub-type food and drinks. What I didn't know was that they're famous for their chili, hence the name I guess. I didn't end up getting that but instead a bacon burger which was pretty tasty but felt it was a little pricey. I also got an espresso martini which was probably not a good choice and should've stuck to a beer or something. My friends like to come whenever we're in the area and I can definitely see the appeal. It's a nice bar that is spacious enough to watch games, chill on the balcony area or play pool. I tried the Strawberry Hibiscus and Pineapple Tequila. The drinks are nice and strong (of all the times I've been) and definitely worth it in my opinion. This place is perfect for a night out with friends to drink and catch up or watch a game! There was a football game going on when we were there and it was exciting when the crowd would erupt with cheers. Parking is convenient since there are surrounding parking garages and street parking. There is a food menu and although I did not order anything, a member of my party did and they really enjoyed their dish. A very concerning incident happened last night, but what was most concerning was the lack of attention, consideration or even manners the Asian female working last night had. We witnessed a girl who was completely incoherent, couldn't even lift up her head, and when my boyfriend and I offered assistance she turned to us, put her hand in my face and yelled "YOURE DOING TOO MUCH." So we stepped aside and watched the worker do nothing but try to make herself seem useful when all she was doing was getting mad and being irate toward EVERYONE around her, including the friends of the girl, bystanders, and her fellow colleagues/security. The friends getting her into the uber begged my boyfriend and I to help, but the Asian female worker kept interfering and screaming at us for wanting to help when we were asked to help. We weren't even on property anymore so not sure why she was still getting in our faces. My boyfriend and I were so concerned of the girl's well being we just wanted to ensure she got home safely and ALIVE. Once we instructed the friends to put and keep her on her side, we ensured they went with her in the uber. Once they left, I asked for the worker's name and she refused saying "ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS." Helping someone in need may not be "my business" but her misconduct at her own workplace is her business, and she should wear a name-tag at the very least and not run to every security guard yelling "DONT GIVE HER MY NAME." I used to come here often. But not anymore. On July 10th I came in after the Spain victory against Belgium. Less than an hour after I left is when I realized I left my sunglasses at the table. I called right away and sure enough they said they couldn't find them. I was told that maybe the manager put them in the safe. I called back the next day and spoke with the same girl. And the soup sucked at that, it was so salty I think it was made with ocean water. The cocktails were good, the pastrami fries were good, the fried pickles were okay, but the 'spicy' spaghetti, the Juicy Lucie, the tater tots (how do you fuck up tater tots???), and French Onion Soup sucked. If you're coming here for the beer and atmosphere, it's a great spot. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. We ordered the hot wings, fries, and nachos, and none of it tasted good. We didn't even finish our meal--we ended up giving it away because we couldn't eat it. I'm also a big fan of micheladas, but this was honestly the worst michelada mix I've ever had. I don't know what they put in it, but I didn't like the taste at all, and it actually made me feel sick. Had a lot of fun coming here for the first time with some friends!! I loved the vibe of the place so much and I told my gf that I wanted to come back again and bring her here one day!!! As a group, we enjoyed chatting with each other and decided to also order some food and drinks. We booked a table and all played some pool. The management has since changed, and is kind, wonderful and nice. A total 180 from the 2024-25 football watching season. I spent most of this season on a stool at Barneys. This is the go-to spot for Weekend sports and beer. The onion rings and Philly Cheese steaks aren't too shabby either. I would get these again. After the mozz stix things got weird but Ilyana, our server, made an amazing recovery. To start, the drinks were underwhelming. We're in California--bad margaritas are hard to excuse. But that wasn't the main issue. We came for karaoke. My cousin and I signed up to sing a Phil Collins song. We are Indonesian, and we were with about 10 cousins visiting from out of town for my father's funeral. This night was meant to be something light and meaningful for our family during a difficult time. Notably, we were the only Asian group in the underground tiki venue that night. Despite signing up early and waiting patiently for hours, our name was never called. When I checked with the DJ, he claimed he had already called "Phil" and that no one came up. That simply didn't happen. Our entire group- many of whom were completely sober- was seated nearby and listening carefully the entire time, specifically waiting to hear our 'Phil''s turn. Instead of acknowledging the possibility of a mistake, the DJ dismissed us and insisted it was our fault. The interaction felt like gaslighting and left us feeling singled out and disrespected. Given that we were the only Asian group present, the situation was especially uncomfortable and hard to ignore. Mistakes happen, but how staff respond matters. The lack of accountability and empathy completely overshadowed what was supposed to be a healing, family-centered night. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because no one should leave feeling excluded or brushed aside--especially during an already difficult time read more

Paid for 2 beers at the Q's upstairs and left my card to play pool. After 2 hrs of pool went to pay for the games and noticed they charged me $85. Asked the bartender and he said that 3 drinks were added which we did not have plus the pool table. Manager comes to reverse all charges (my 2 beers, the 3 mystery drinks and the table). Then recharged the original 2 beers and the table...all good right...nah! Forgets to reverse the original 2 drinks so I had to call to get it done. Person on phone was nice...but rude bartender, acted like I was being hostile when I wasn't. I get it, he was busy and frazzled but I could have done without the gaslighting.
