Stopped here for brunch when walking around Beacon Hill. They weren't too crowded and we were able to be seated very quickly. The patio seating was convenient and lively with people walking around. Our food was very good and came out quickly. I found the omelette and potatoes to be a bit on the milder side taste wise but went well with hot sauce.

Delightful experience - appetizers were delicious, entrees were tasty and service was attentive. New chef did a great job. Would definitely come back.

So I'll be honest--we came from the Public Garden Park and really had to pee. Starbucks was packed so we stumbled upon this joint. Lucky find! We weren't SUPER hungry so we had gotten starters, but we were happy with our find! This Beacon Hill spot leads to a very quaint part of the neighborhood near the famed "Acorn Street". Today is Labor Day so business was not as usual and they had such a busy weekend they were missing menu items. Nonetheless, food was pretty good! I highly recommend the Grilled Flatbread. Between the mozzarella, marinara, and basil, I was in heaven Also, the bathrooms are clean and are downstairs, in case you were wondering!

This place receives five stars because of the prompt service on a Sunday Morning. I originally went to a place down the street where the line was outrageous but once I found beacon hill, there was no line and I was greeted/sat down right away. Our server was Lily and she had great customer service. The menu had lots of options! We got the fried egg sandwich blt & the skirt steak and eggs! Everything was cooked to perfection and the servings were large. We also started out with the yogurt. I highly recommend visiting this place. The ambiance was pretty and gave a relaxing vibe. It was not loud in there or packed. Please go!

    4.2/5. Lobster benedict!

Great brunch spot. Came on a weekend day with a reservation and it was half full. Service was friendly and fast as well as the staff. The bistro itself is shaped like a long rectangle which was nice with the windows looking out to Beacon Hill. Prices were reasonable for a city-restaurant for brunch around $20. 1. Spiked cider - 3.8/5. Not much alcohol but does come hot and with a cinnamon stick. 2. Lobster benedict - 4.2/5. Devoured the entire thing. They give plenty of lobster which went well with the poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Overall, I'll come back for more brunch and recommend this as a solid brunch spot!

So what's happens when your plan is to go to one place but the line is out the door and down the street? Quickly look around like a crazy person and find the "beacon hill hotel & bistro! Great find! Brunch was everything you need to fill up for a awesome day of exploring. The menu had a nice selection of different items and the service was quick and friendly. I recommend you try the prosciutto arugula and cured tomato omelette. Delicious, hardy and everything you need to satisfy that morning hunger. They also have opinions if you want something on the healthier side. The restaurant was very clean, elegant and ambiance was very nice. So if you're ever in the Boston Beacon Hill area check this spot out.

Came here on an usually hot day in April while visiting Boston. My hubby and I had a 10:15 reservation. When we walked in, the hostess said "I'll be right with you" and then disappeared into the back for... a while. I thought this was a little odd. Finally one of the waiters, Hector, sat us. Nicely decorated, timeless look. It was almost 80 degrees in the restaurant and we had to tell them how uncomfortable we were. Eventually they put the A/C on, thank goodness, because I was going to walk out if it continued to be that hot. The food was pretty good and the portions were HUGE. I ordered a smoked salmon omelet, which came with a piece of focaccia bread and homefries. Everything was delicious, but I could not finish it because it was so big. My husband ordered a corn beef hash dish, which was also very tasty. They have Lindt truffles instead of mints on your way out - sweet!

from the web. I don't think this place has ghosts but this photo sure looks like it does. :-))

Steak tacos are - as someone else has mentioned - to die for. My filet mignon was juicy and VERY tender. I mean, it was so easy to cut apart. My dinner partner had the foie gras dish, and it was also great! I definitely want to come back. Just do not order cocktails, haha. Maybe I'm too old, but fine dining should involve that refinement. Stop calling yourself fine dining and call it expensive food with uppity servers and no dress code. Food was amazing- so please know I would absolutely go back for the food! We had lobster bisque, the best Caesar salad (top 5), calm chowder, shrimp and clams, lamb and a fillet. During our meal just after the lovely table side service of the lobster bisque my son accidentally moved the table with his feet and the drinks flew into my food. Our server watched it happen and walked away. She turned not to help but out of disgust walked the other way! The food runner came to the rescue! But then we were charged for another drink that spilled! I don't know but when your at fine dining and you get double charged for a table moving and treated like you are an inconvenience that gets me. Plus she was clearly angry with us. Food 5 stars, service 2, price for the service we received totally not worth it. Don't waste your money to get treated badly. Sorry kitchen but front of the house ruined it.

You can immediately tell this place takes pride in what they do, especially when you see the chefs in action. Watching them work with the freshly made dough and expertly handle the pizza oven added such a fun and authentic touch to the experience. The food was absolutely incredible. The pizza was hands down one of the best we've had--perfectly crisp crust, fresh ingredients, and full of flavor in every bite. We also ordered the cucumber salad, which was refreshing, light, and the perfect complement to the richness of the pizza. What really made the experience, though, was our waitress. She had the funniest personality. She was cheeky and a little snarky in the best possible way, and somehow made the whole table laugh without ever coming across as rude. She was genuinely one of the best servers I've had in a long time, and I'd honestly go back just hoping she's working. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service.

Beer was warm... bad demerit again Ordered steak tips which came with three large tips on a bed of mashed potatoes, spinach . It had some sour hot nasty pepper garnish.. I wanted roasted red or green peppers with the tips instead. Steak tips were just ok and needed a marinate or side of a dipping bbq sauce or mushroom sauce or anything. Spinach, mashed potatoes needed more butter or garlic flavoring... fresh tasting but bland. Needs more steak tips too for the price tag. It was a nice bar vibe for drinks.
