Oh yeah!! This place rocks! Very friendly service. No pressure. Your first time walking in came be overwhelming with awesomeness. I couldn't make up my mind on the Dim Sum (made fresh daily) so I order two of everything in the case! YUM the dough was delicious. The inside moist and flavorful We also got their famous Bahn Mi sandwich. For less than five bucks I got a fresh baguette sandwich longer than my arm. Yes, I Will be back! They are consistently delicious and accommodating to food requests, like leaving out the jalapeños for my non-spice loving taste buds. Very friendly people work here, and my favorite menu item lately has been the Vietnamese tacos. They taste really fresh with the meat, corn tortilla, and veggie toppings. I tried the pork, beef, and chicken, and the tacos are never oily (not fried). I think the tortilla might be steamed? My only disappointment was when I saw a worker wearing gloves finish what he was working on, go to sink and rinse his gloved hand in water, dry gloved hands and go back to working with food with same gloved hands. I love this place! I have been there on multiple occasions but surprisingly never posted a review. Their pate is the perfect way to go for a more traditional baun mi sandwich! My wifey prefers the bbq pork baun mi...which is also good but not the same as the pate! Try the bubble tea while your there...my favorite is the mango! 3 1/2 stars. I didn't know there was a strong Vietnamese community here in Portland and was surprised when I found this bahn mi shop. And with terrific ratings here on Yelp. So knowing Vietnamese food like I know Vietnamese food I decide to give this place a try. When I walk in it looks nothing like an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. It's really clean and it looks like they've built some extremely efficient line to crank out Vietnamese sandwiches. I take a look at their menu and they've got a good selection. Surprisingly, I've never had sardines in one of my banh mi's so I decide to give this a try. It's really good. Wow, I was surprised. And ridiculously cheap. I mean ridiculously. Exactly, how a banh mi should be-ridiculously cheap. Like less than $4. So why not a 4 star rating? Because traditionally banh mi has pate in it. Mine didn't and I find this a really distinct thing between true authentic Vietnamese banh mi and non-authentic. It really makes a huge difference in taste to have pate in it. I'm not sure if I have high expectations for banh mis because I live in Seattle... but I thought the sandwiches here were mediocre. Sure, they're cheap and decent, but... it wasn't like the ones in Seattle. The bread itself was good, but a lot thinner than other baguettes I've had. I had the special combo and the meat tasted yummy and fresh, but my overall experience wasn't spectacular or anything. The lady at the front desk was pretty rude when I asked her where the straws were... she just told me they were on the other side, without attempting to help me grab one. Also, don't get the tacos. They were super bland and tasteless. It needed some kind of sauce or something because I was just eating dry meat with some picked veggies. Stick to the baguettes if you're going to eat here. 5 marvelous stars for the freshly baked, soft and crunchy crusty baguette on my bahn mi. The grilled chicken itself was tender but blah. It didn't look or taste grilled making the sandwich overall, OK. The pricing is what it should be for bahn mi, I paid $3.35 for chicken. $5 minimum for credit card which won't hard if you add a bubble tea to your order. The drinks looked really good and they have a large selection of flavors but I can't attest to its flavor. I'll be back for the baked goods! read more

Number 4 all the way. Best baguette does a good job with their banh mi. Crunchy outer layer of the baguette but the inside is nice a soft. They pack that sandwich with pickled veggies and jalapeños if you want (can also ask for it on the side). Absolutely worth the price. Call ahead to have your orders made to by pass the line. Might take a couple tries with the call but it eventually gets through. Their pastries are decent too, I personally like the crossaint, flaky and buttery. read more
