I'm super conflicted between 4/5 stars on this but I'm going with 5 strictly based on the Raspberry Lychee Tart. TLDR: Get the Raspberry Lychee tart. Wonderful macarons and a wonderful tart combined! Iced Hong Kong Duck: interesting flavor. I think it is a mixture of espresso, milk tea and condensed milk. Husband who likes good milk tea didn't love it but I liked it. Hot Flat White: went with this after seeing someone else's that looked good. Ours was a little acidic and it looked slightly different than the other one I had seen so my feeling is it might have been a bit burnt. Luck of the draw I suppose. Cinnamon roll: (sorry I don't remember if that is the name of this pastry but it is a cinnamon roll with the cream cheese icing in the middle). If you are a fan of Starbucks morning bun you will love this. I recommend peeling off the layers and spreading the cream cheese on each piece. Raspberry lychee tart: this was the star of our visit. I chose it because it is topped with 2 macarons. The macarons are amazing! I have tried and failed to bake macarons so many times that I will give credit where it is deserved. The cookies have the perfect level of chewiness. I think one of the macarons is a vanilla cookie with a chocolate ganache filling and the other is a raspberry cookie/raspberry filling. (Those are my flavor guesses based on taste.) The tart itself has a relatively thick short bread crust, raspberry/lychee pastry cream (the cream may be strictly raspberry) with bits of lychee in it, a whipped vanilla topping with vanilla bean specs in it. I enjoyed this little coffee shop. The pastries were very pleasing to the eyes, and really good too. My husband and I got a macha puff and a slice of banana bread. The macha puff was really good paired with macha latte for the hubby and I got the lavender latte, super yummy. I'm so sad to be posting this review because I have always been happy with the food and drinks here. I purchased the Lunar New Year macarons and sadly they were stale and dry after spending $78 for only 10 COOKIES per box!! I would understand if they tasted like this after a few days in the fridge, but they they tasted stale and crunchy shortly after picking them up. In my short NY trip, I have gone here twice in a row. It's a casual, trendy cafe, but it gets really noisy in the afternoon. The line moves really quickly even when the line is to the door. I wished it was sweeter because that's what makes an almond croissant yummy. - Earl Grey Cream Puff: An absolute must try! I love that the outside is crunchy and not that sweet, which balances out with the sweet, refreshing tea cream that oozes out when I bite into the puff. At first I thought I'd save half for the next day, but it was so good that I finished it all. I really like Beard Papa, but Bibble & Sip's style of cream puff looks different. Bibble and Sip has made its way up to my top 3 dessert spots in Manhattan! I've been dying to try these cream puffs for a very long time, and came recently with a few of my cousins. We ordered 4 different cream puffs, a drink, and a few other tarts. Cream puffs: they are all lightweight; it wasn't heavy cream. Based on my own preference, the earl grey was my favorite. Then the matcha, black sesame and the strawberry, respectively. Drink: ordered the Jasmine matcha and wow! The drink surprised me! I didn't expect it to taste this good! Don't watery or bland at all, nor was it overly sweet with syrup. Other desserts: the lychee rose tart is my second favorite pastry (after the earl grey cream puff) because the crust of the tart mixed very well with the tarty lychee jam and the cream. The two macaroons made the tart overall very cute and both the macaroons were tasty as well. The pig tart and the lamb tart were both mousse. Since I am not a huge fan of mousse, I don't have much to say, but both were cute for pictures and still yummy. Overall, I really love this cafe. Let me preface this review by saying: I have never loved an establishment more than I have loved Bibble & Sip. Since I am a Chicago native, I have only had the pleasure of experiencing Bibble & Sip on trips to New York. My first encounter with Bibble & Sip was back in September of last year, when I had the iced Hong Kong Ducks for the first time. That drink instantly and unquestionably became my favorite iced coffee drink of all time, and I loved it so much that, well I bought a shirt immediately after. My next encounters with Bibble & Sip were in the last week of March this year. Immediately as I got off the plane, my first stop on the subway was Bibble & Sip, luggage and all. I stayed in the east coast for 5 whole days this trip. Barring one day when I was in Boston for the entire day, I visited Bibble & Sip every single other day and spent well over $150-$200 while I was there, trying as much on the menu as I humanly could. Every single macaroon, cream puff, drink, etc... and after all of that, I'm both disappointed that I wasn't able to get EVERYTHING on the menu yet, but brimming with anticipation for my next trip to New York so that I can finish out the menu in its entirety. To answer the question I know you're asking in your head, no, the entire menu does not total $200. However, I did also buy every single unique piece of merchandise they had - their coffee thermos, bag, hat, etc. - because I loved them so much. Plus, their merchandise selection isn't bad either. Shirts are super comfortable and the hats are cute. The thermos is probably the best thermos I own as well. The bag I bought probably has the least utility for me, but it would make a cute beach bag. If there is such a thing as heaven on earth, it is Bibble & Sip. If there is such a thing as manna from heaven, it is one (or all) of these three items: 1) The iced Hong Kong Ducks if you're in the mood for a cold coffee drink. I wasn't too big of a fan of the hot version of the drink (this is my sole critique so far, but I'm not much for hot drinks in general) but the iced version is PRIMO. 2) The iced Roseberry Float if you're in the mood for something fruity. This is honestly so delicious and the perfect blend of fruitiness and sweetness and is a good choice for a refreshing summer drink. Sadly I haven't been here in summer to verify that, but one day, I will be. It was good in the springtime as well... I'm sure it'll be great year round! 3) ANY of the special desserts. I've tried nearly all of them aside from the big cakes. My favorite cream puff is probably the earl grey, as it's not too sweet so as to stuff me prematurely. A lot of people like the matcha, but it wasn't really for me. All of the macaron desserts were so beautifully and carefully designed, and super delicious. My favorite was the alpaca macaron. I honestly can't tell you what was in it, because I forgot. But trust me when I say it's delicious. There's also a small little gold chocolate cup decoration on it that served as a nice aftertaste for the rest of the macaron. I also tried the pig cake thing? Again, sorry for the poor naming. But that was also really good. Basically, anything is good. My major critique would probably be the overcrowdedness of the cafe, but given the popularity, it's to be expected. The Little Italy location opened a while after I was there this year, so I haven't been able to experience it yet. Hopefully it helps ease up the congestion a bit. You know what else would help ease up the congestion? A Chicago location. Please, Bibble. You guys would be so popular here if you were to open in Chinatown or even Wicker or Lincoln Park. Please, I'm begging you. I need you close to me, Bibble & Sip. I love you so much. Ahem. Anyway. This place is great. Five stars. Love it. read more

The selection there is eye-grabbing, from its delightful and cutesy desserts to its mouth-watering cream puffs that may seem too big for one to handle at first, though I tend to eat one or two in one sitting (There are no regrets, considering how creamy and luscious they are). I myself am a fan of getting the Earl Grey and Matcha cream puffs to share with a few friends! The staff are friendly and quick in preparing what you want as soon as they can, especially with how long the lines can get at this location during the lunchtime rush. It's impressive how quick the lines can move, despite how daunting it may get when the line moves to the outside of the store. Recently, Bibble & Sip has a new savory item: the tamago sando! This egg salad sandwich is as scrumptious as it looks, with the sweet homemade milk bread pairing well with the egg salad filled with umami. Adding a soft-boiled egg to each half sandwich was a perfect decision, giving the sandwich an IG-worthy look. I'd say it's definitely worth going for the sandwich alone, especially with those who may be obsessed with tamago sandos from Japanese convenience stores. It may not taste the same as those, but it's nice to have a Japanese comfort food like the sando in the heart of Manhattan, especially one that is as good as Bibble's. read more

The matcha is my all-time favorite cream puff of all time, although I've yet to try their other flavors like earl grey and hazelnut (but I'll be back for those!) The Thai puff comes with a crunchy chocolate cookie layer that my friend really enjoyed, and the matcha puff isn't overwhelmingly sweet--you could also taste the slight bitterness of the matcha which complemented the crust perfectly. They had other items on the menu that I wanted to try, like a stuffed black sesame croissant, cloud-shaped mousse, and raspberry tart that looked so adorable. As for drinks, I've tried their London float, but it was a bit too expensive for what I got imo--the tea wasn't anything too special and kind of tasted like regular sweetened packaged tea you could get at the supermarket. The cheese foam on top, however, was amazing. There's plenty of seating but I saw a few tables taken up by 1 person with laptop. I was lucky to snag a table for 4 for us. The cream puffs are the top go thing to get. I washed my earl grey CP with an Americano with a riptide of milk. The CP was not too sweet and could really taste the grey. Boo Boo drank a lavender latte which was also very tasty. The tea flavor was very nice and not overly sweet. The crunchier shell when well with the cream inside. The mango cake had an adorable and delicious alpaca macaroon on the top. The cake tasted like chocolate pudding around a mango core and I was surprised and how well these two flavors went together. The matcha latte was served with a cute foam heart on the top and not overly sweet which was nice to go with the more sugary desserts. I only had a sip of the rosewater my friend ordered and was not a huge fan, the floral taste was nice, but it was not sweetened.
