Hours say 7:30-6. My daughter went in at 7:30 this morning due to low tire pressure. They said they had no one there to fix it, put air in her tire and said come back. By 12:00 her tire was flat. Now had to call a tow truck. Came back at 5:15 and was told they already took their last car for the day and couldn't help us until tomorrow. Why do you have business hours if you can't help us during them?? Called Discount Tires and they said come on over, we are open to 6 and we will help you tonight no matter how late we have to stay. While there we even witnesses someone coming at 6:07, after they were officially closed, and they helped him. We are now loyal Discount Tire customers and will not be going back to Big O read more

Beware of their service and lack of experienced mechanics on the weekends. A bad diagnosis of my vehicle proved to be very costly and could have compromised my family's safety. Brought in my vehicle for power steering evaluation. Came out instead with a new rack and pinion job. Jeff, the weekend manager suggested that it was required. Interestingly enough, a job that runs over $1600. Needless to say, they botched the job and ended up causing a leak in our power steering. Jeff saw the leak and explained to us that it was from a little spillage when they were filling up the power steering fluid. Total BS. This dude sent us off on the road for our drive back home to LA and to no surprise, the leak got worse and the steering tightened up. Fortunately, we made it home and the very next day found a local Big O Tires to reevaluate and fix the leak. They contacted Steve, form Big O Tires in Henderson and he agreed to cover the job fix. That's the one positive I was able to take away from this. Steve, the store manager took the time to hear out my concerns and seems to be looking to turn things around. Terrible customer service. Brought car in with nail in tire. They hopped in my car and took it for a spin around the car wash before driving it into the garage. Once they lifted up the car the tech spun the tire located the nail and walked away. I stood next to my car for 20min before the guy behind the desk walked out and said the tire needs to be replaced. I ask for the car back and expected a quote to replace the tire. Not receiving a quote I asked for one. They didn't have the firestone tire available and would need to order it. They gave me a quote of $240 for one tire. I left. The terrible customer service part is no eye contact the 4 mechanics in the garage were on their phones or talking amongst each other one about a all inclusive Mexico trip. They had 3 cars in the shop at the time and all 3 of them including mine sat there untouched for the 20min I stood outside looking in. Really don't understand how they do business. My daughter bought a used car. She worked two jobs and saved every penny to buy it. The check engine light came on, on the way home.The next morning, the battery was dead, and there was a flat tire. She took the car to a local tire shop, and was told she would need $800 worth of wheels and new tires. She was devastated, she had spent every penny she had to purchase this car and get insurance. We knew that with the check engine light on, she could not get it smogged, and could not get it registered. She was crushed. I called and spoke with Corey. He told me that if we could get it to him before closing, he would have it looked at the next day. We had it towed. He could have taken advantage of her but instead, he was patient, kind, and allowed her to keep her dignity while he explained how he was going to help get her vehicle back on the road. I am grateful that he chose to educate her without any judgment. We brought the car home, and discovered that the blinkers were not working. She contacted Big O herself, he said bring it back right now. She was so happy with the outcome of the repairs, that she stayed to have her brakes taken care of. He explained that he couldn't see into the future, but he would be comfortable allowing his girl to drive that car. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this life lesson, and the amazing experience she received as a consumer. I bought tires there 6 weeks ago, all went well, helpful, reasonable price. Then last week changed my oil, was overcharged by $60, manager made it right w an additional discount. Looked for some high performance tires, talked to them yesterday. They said tires would be in today. Called at 11, oh we tried to call you (lied I have the call log), can't order without a cc n deposit, went down and the "training manager/district manager" helped me, if you call it that. Said tires aren't available till Friday and it's non refundable re-stocking fee if I find them elsewhere. I asked why I wasn't informed of any of this yesterday on the phone. No apology, nothing just a dumb look. I reminded him he's failing as the training manager and left. Found tires cheaper and here tomorrow at another local tire shop (Wein). read more

I went here after a terrible experience at another store. It was a Sunday so I was worried as I figured they might be too busy to help me. Even with people in the shop, Chris helped me within 5 minutes. I needed 4 new tires and an oil change and he gave me various quotes for different quality of tires. When I asked about a brand they didn't have in, he called around and located them for me. Already a huge step-up from other places. He told me the exact time he 'd have the car ready and even let me know he might be 5-10 minutes behind when I check-up. He also discounted the oil change for me. On top of everything, whoever took my spare off and put in back in the trunk, did so with care and even tried to fix the mess a previous place had made of my tire cover. I will be using these guys again. Thanks Chris and the guys who helped out. -My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the added cost of installation. $20 is a little steep as I have heard of places who offer half that price, but honestly with the great customer service, it didn't put me off too much. read more

I went in for a battery and they lied to me and told me that my alternator was bad also and only putting out 11 volts. After waiting for 4 hours on a new one I told them to put the old one back in so I could leave. After another hour putting the old one back in it read 14 volts, so it was perfectly good. The battery was $200 and they tried to scam me for another $1,000 for an alternator. Luckily their parts house sucks and it never showed up. Don't go here. read more

This place is one of the only tire places around that's open on Sunday which was perfect since I got a flat on a Sunday! They took my car right away, and Called me over to show me exactly what was wrong with my tire and told me I needed a new one. They then put on my spare for me at no charge so that I could get my errands done for the time being since I have a warranty on them at a different tire location. I was a mess, I couldn't even remember my address I had to look at my ID. The gentleman here was so kind and helpful. I needed some wiper blades also, so he even put them on for me himself. That they don't have the ability to jack up the vehicle neither they can't remove it; therefore turning me away. I have been to this shop 4 or 5 times over the years. They have always done great work for me. A few months ago I bought a used Jeep Patriot. 3 days ago I had to put air in the right rear tire. I did not notice anything stuck in the tire. Last night again I had to put air in the tire. Still I could not find the source of the leak. Today I drove over to Big O. Although the shop was very busy, they pulled my Jeep into a bay after a few minutes. Perhaps 5 minutes later the Jeep was back outside. The worker behind the counter called me over and handed me my keys saying 'You're all set.' He said there was a nail in my tire and they made the repair. They did not charge me a dime even though I hadn't bought the tires from them. Nor did they try to tell me the tire was unfixable... Took my car to the Big O tires on Sunday at 9:00 am. My car had the check tire pressure on the dash board and needed to have the tires looked at. The associate Melvin said it would be a few minutes. They got my car in the bay and did a full inspection on my tires as I wasn't sure which tire was causing the issue. After a few minutes Melvin came back and said they couldn't find any leaks. Melvin reset the tpi trip sensor and I was on my way. I would highly recommend this Big O tires on Pecos as the employees are extremely honest and trustworthy. Dave was amazing to work with and I cannot thank him enough for all of his help and hard work. I brought my jeep in because I thought there was something wrong with an alignment and thank goodness I did. Apparently I needed to repair a few things besides the alignment and had to get new tires as well. He came highly recommended by my father Wayne who has been following him throughout the years and a few store transfers for all his auto needs. When I called my dad for advice he told me to go see him and he will make sure the car is taken care of and that as a woman i wouldn't be taken advantage of in terms of pricing and repairs. $150 off my tires is great. I needed for new tires. I came here because they're close to my house and they had the exact brand of tires that I like. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. nobody likes having to get tires because it's always kind of expensive. It's just something we all have to do now and then so it's nice to come to a place that has fast service and gives you a good deal. One thing I like about this place is the waiting area is much cleaner than other tire places that I have been too. I thought the Boulder City location was bad. Well, they are, but the one on N Pecos Rd. Henderson Nevada took first place in the loser catagory. Poor service and Poor attitude! I originally bought my tires from Big O in Boulder City. All the tires they advertise and the only ones they had that fit a Hyundai Elantra? You guessed it, The Big O tire made by Cooper. Its not a terrible tire but the sales man basicaly told me i did not know my tires because the tire I needed for conditions around here was, (everybody together now) "The Big O Tire" (made by cooper). I had researched tires specifically for my vehicle, for vehicle, the majority of driving location (surface, temp, altitude), considering gas milage economy, conditions i will be in the majority, handeling and road noise. Oh, price was a consideration of course, but only so far as I will pay good money for a good tire not crazy money for any tire. So, ok I am a little overboard when choosing what I want. But hey, why not. So, my new tire under warrenty picks up a nail while my fiancee is driving. She comes out to the vehicle while in henderson close to closing of Big O. She used a pump to get some air in the tire and got to Big O right before they close. They tell her they dont have time for a fix due to other customers being serviced but they will put the doughnut on for her and she can come back the next day. Ok, sounds fine and understandable. She goes back the next day for the fix and asked the salseman why the low air light keeps comming on and going off. He said, I dont know maybe because its hot at daytime and cool at night and the air in your tires is going up and down with it? Whatever, it is close to a reason but every car on the road with a tpms system is not having this problem and the sensors came from you. So my fiancee is now driving around town the next day and goes to put something in the trunk. Guess what she sees? The doughnut is just sliding around in the trunk. Now who whould think to put it back under the carpet in the space designed for the tire. Let me tell you right now, there is no junk in my trunk!lol seriously, my trunk is empty and in the space with the tire i keep emergency items like a 2 quart canteen of water, road flairs, jumper cables and maybe a couple other things. Trunk is neat. Also they kept 3 of my chrome valve covers. 3 of them!?!? I had 1 valve cover. What else do they forget when they work on cars. I called them up and explained all this to someone named Russ. He said come by and we will get it squared away. So she goes back to the tire place. The guy who is supposed to put the spare tire in the proper place in the trunk, comes in the waiting area and says where am i supposed to put the stuff thats in the way. Its like...what? Thoes few things? They get put around the tire AFTER the spare tire is put in. So the shop guy says "If your going to have an attitude then I am leaving." So my fiancee had to replacee the spare tire herself and put the items back and got grease on her purse and hands which transfered to the car seat and steering wheel cover. So, my warrenty for fixing flats does not include replacing spare in proper place. They will throw it in the trunk though and steal your valve covers... hmm makes me wonder about grease and/road grime on my trunk carpet. Yep, i am heated because this is the type of service that i am supposed to expect and if i complain it goes nowhere. I should have never bought Big o store brand tires ore any other stuff. Oh, purchases to date at big o from 1 visit for alignment, struts, shocks, and 4 tires is like $1,8000.00. Big mistake is what it is. Stay away! read more

I had nothing but a great experience at this location. I woke up to an almost completely flat tire on a Saturday. I couldn't travel far from home to have it repaired, and luckily I didn't have to. Dave and everyone there made sure I was helped quickly and were very friendly. They were able to repair my tire without having to switch it to the spare and had me in and out in less than 30 minutes. We waited a little over an hour which is acceptable especially they were really busy and we did not have an appointment.
