Big O Tired I got a flat tire near this BigTires location. I called them and spoke with Will, who efficiently checked their tire inventory after I provided my car details. I arrived with my spare tire, but eventually decided to get all 4 new tires. It would entail a roughly 2-hour wait due to have all the tires replaced, but they were able to get to my car early and finished about an hour before their original estimate which was great! However, shortly after leaving, I experienced another TWO FLAT TIRES within 10 minutes of driving down Highway 5. I was on a solo road trip and this immediately caused immense anxiety, due to the uncontrollable SWERVING that my car started to experience on the freeway, and several other cars had to DODGE me as I tried to exit the freeway. I called the Big O Tires back and told them about the issue and they told me to take it back to them. I first stopped at a nearby auto shop, and the technician there said the guys from Big O Tires had FORGOTTEN to close the valves on both right-side tires! Gratefully, the auto shop technician filled the tires with air and closed the valves at no charge. Big O Tires negligence endangered not only my safety but also that of other drivers, and such a dumb mistake on their part could have easily caused a multi-car wreck on the freeway. After returning to Big O Tires, I was disheartened by their lack of acknowledgment of fault. Instead of receiving empathy or accountability from the associate, I was dismissed and redirected to the manager, with a wait time of at least an hour. The manager gave me some crap about a nail in the tire causing it to go flat... I was so overwhelmed by the gravity of the situation, in addition to the inconvenience they put me through, I was frustrated and even emotional, whereas the Big O Tires staff had no recognition of the severity of their mistake. They also didn't offer any partial refund or discount. The best they could offer was a sensor payment that was $60 as compensation for all of the trouble related to my $797 service. Luckily I had the warrantee or else they would have charged me for the additional service!! If I had been in an accident, lawyers would definitely be involved and surely would have recognized Big O Tires was at fault. I hope this warns future customers about their negligence and to avoid doing business with them or at the very least be sure to have them double check their services.. read more

This place was so helpful and did my tire patch I needed after finding a screw in it earlier. I went to 6 shops before this and all said they were too busy to do it and one wanted to charge $59.99 but Big O Tires charged us $39.99. There was cold water in the waiting room while they fixed it and the manager Aureliano was very professional and friendly and the associate who fixed it before he went home for the day. Another excellent experience and great service from Manager Aureliano Garcia and his team at Big O Tires on Irvine Center Drive. My tire pressure monitor was consistently showing a low pressure on one new tire despite filling it up to the recommended level. They checked the pressures and reset the sensor and no problems since. ( the tire itself was fine) There was also a new intermittent bothersome sound near the right front. One of the techs rode around the lot with me, was able to locate the problem, tightened up a loose stabilizer bar and my car has been whisper quiet since. This Big O is located off of Irvine Center drive. Since it's somewhat hidden I think I forgot about this gem the last couple years! This is probably one of the few tire places operating until 7pm during a pandemic and it's greatly appreciated by those like me that can't make it until after 5pm! So thank you Big O for being open later but I'm sure not ideal for the workers, nonetheless, super appreciated! I came in overwhelmed that I had a screw in my tire. Garcia the GM was super accommodating and pointed out that my other tires were also super worn. I have 20inch tires and always need to special order them so my stomach dropped when he told me that. They went above and beyond to repair my tire, yess able to patch it up, and I placed an order for two new tires. The wait was a little long but they took care of me regardless and made sure my car was safe to drive home. I was really surprised how busy they got after 5pm. Garcia and the team were taking care of everyone like bosses. Tbh, I was impressed. The lobby was also socially distanced and everyone I encountered was wearing masks. He took me in quickly, checked the pressure, and did a thorough diagnostic to ensure nothing in the wheel was damaged.
