OMG!! Very surprising to find a good home style biscuit with a creative twist that included gravy, sausage, cheese, eggs, bacon and seasoned!! The freshly squeezed OJ was good, too. But I really respect this guy being a small business owner and trying to keep up with the crowd and some of the negative reviews he's received on here. My order had got lost in their system and popped up as a grub hub order and it took 27 minutes but the owner gave me a free orange juice and did apologize for the wait. Plus it was a busy morning. I've been at Biscuits + Groovy fan for a very long time! I was so happy to see that they have an adaptable all vegan menu. We ordered 5/22 and the biscuits were delicious. However, the ordering system was completely inefficient and definitely brought down the overall experience. We ordered online for pick up at 11:05 am. I called to confirm my order and they said it was good to go! I arrived at 11:10 am and there were probably 15 people in line. I asked if I had to wait in line for a pick up order and they said yes. We ended up waiting in line for 25 minutes just to get our pick up order... Many of the people in line were having the same problem. I've been in the service in the service industry for a while, so I understand the demand, but I think if they could have people pay online it could streamline the wait time. I would have loved to pick up my order from the back door on time. I hope there's someway they can separate to-go pickups from ordering in person so we don't have to wait half an our on a schedule to-go order next time. read more

Came here for a quick brunch before walking around Zilker and going to Barton Springs. It wasn't busy around 12pm and so we ordered right away. We got the biscuits + groovy. They were really accommodating with my switch of sausage to potatoes since I am pescatarian. We waited about ten minutes for our food. It came out really hot with lots of gravy, but the toppings felt skimpy- I wish it came with more potatoes. The gravy was very peppery and tasty! The serving was filling since it was three biscuits. I really enjoyed how soft and fluffy the biscuits were and how crunchy and good the bacon was. However those were the only things I throughly enjoyed. The gravy was very buttermilky. Personally I like it when my gravy has a little bit of a bolder flavor. It did have a good consistency. The eggs were your typical scrambled eggs.
