Came here on a late night right before 3am, it was great that this place was open past 2am, I was starving! The pizza was really good, we got the simple toppings like pepperoni and sausage, but they did have other options. The pizza comes out fresh so that was a big plus. Very tasty, cheese doesn't slip off at all, really enjoyed it. They do have a some space to sit down and eat, but if it gets packed enough you'd definitely have to take it to go. They are super nice! The store is a positive addition to the Haight Ashbury. I don't dislike it, but I'm not enthused about this pizza. The dough is very bready, but didn't taste like thick crust pizza. Tomato sauce and toppings are too sparse in quantity, making the pizza bland. Toppings are fresh and crisp, just not enough. Genuinely confused about how this place has such a stellar rating. My husband and I are long-time vegans and were excited to come across Bizza's vegan menu when we moved from LA to SF. Superficially, the pizzas are well-sized and well-baked, but the vegan cheeses and faux meats are repulsive and actually made us dry heave. The vegan mozzarella sticks tasted like fried firm tofu, which is fine if that's what you're expecting (but we were expecting, um, vegan mozzarella sticks) and the red velvet deep-fried Oreos were so soggy and nasty. We were so grossed out by the textures of everything that we gave up and chucked everything in the compost after a few bites, and settled for leftover rice & beans in our fridge instead. If you want good vegan pizza/junk food, I recommend hitting up CyBelle's across the park in the Inner Sunset-- it's ridiculously expensive, but the quality is reliable and you won't be dry heaving at the memory of the food like I am now while writing this. read more

I love this place. Vegan eats all day. Except they consistently raise prices every 2 months or so... also they run out of vegan stuff really fast... And also the last time i ordered there was an issue where i didnt feel like it was of value to even come back... I ordered a ceasars salad over postmares with no anchovies and i didnt get any crutons.. i paid $9 for lettuce, a sprinkle of parm cheese from the packet... The man who was working was INCREDIBLY rude to me and every other customer I saw him interact with in the store. Dirty looks, eye rolls, and acting like a paying customer is only a nuisance to you is not good customer service at all. Great spot! I ordered their combo pizza which was outstanding. Crust was tasty and cooked to perfection. Definitely the best spot in the Upper Haight. Unlike most restaurants in the city, this place was super CLEAN (I always peak as far as possible into the kitchen). Found out they deliver too. Decent pizza. Unique specialties. Poor service. I used to order from here occasionally, from Eat24 and just calling in as well. They have an awesome Lamb Bizza that I actually crave every once in a while. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with them tonight, and I will no longer be ordering from them. The first time I tried calling, I was put on hold for 10 minutes until I gave up and tried calling back. I got a busy signal for another 10 mins, which says to me I would have still been on hold that whole time. When I finally got thru, I said I called earlier and was put on hold for a really long time, I just got a scoff. No apology, explanation, or anything. I gave my order, my phone number, my address, and then was questioned where I lived. He said they have a delivery radius of only 3 miles, and I was 3.2 miles away. I said I had ordered and gotten delivery before, which I have, and he said he had no problem placing the order, but he would have to check with his driver. He put me on hold for a bit to call his driver. Turned out that the extra .2 miles was too much for the driver, and he refused to deliver to me. I wasted a lot of time tonight trying to give a pizza place money for some pizza. Never again with these guys. read more

You literally need to Escape from New York pizza and find refuge at Bizza! Best pizza I've had in the city. Been here multiple times and it's constantly delish. Make this your go to. Only gave it 4 stars because it's still $6 for a slice of pizza. But to be fair my Hot on Haight was loaded with toppings. read more

Flavors are on point and they have excellent vegan options! The only reason I rate it as 3 stars is that the sauce is lacking. I like my pizza with a good amount of sauce but can enjoy it with a little less too. Bizza didn't have enough sauce at all in my opinion though. Never again . I went into Bizza for lunch . The sign says 5 something for a slice with two toppings . I think it was 5.50 anyways I ordered a slice of Pepperoni and Canadian Bacon . The worker took what seemed like way too long for him to ring me up . He was pressing buttons rapidly over and over again , just taking the longest route to ring me up like back in the days when Taxi drivers would take a longer route . Anyways the machine showed that I owed $7.32 . I was like hey even with tax it shouldn't cost that much for a two topping slice and instead of ringing me up the correct way he lied to my face and told me that there was extra cost for premium toppings . Okay cool I'll pay the 7 bucks and some change but I'm not gonna tip you. And I swear I always tip, even if it's a to go order and especially during this pandemic. I mean I tip less than if I would dine in but I still do . Anyways while I was waiting, I realized he charged me more than a specialty slice and some of the specialty slices had a smorgasbord or toppings including pepperoni and Canadian bacon . So I paid more for no reason . I get my slice and it was just cheese and Canadian Bacon. I was like normally I would just eat it and don't mention the missing pepperoni , but I over paid so I want my order right . The guy said he'll fix it and he grabbed some slices of pepperoni with his bare hands "no gloves " during this pandemic ,no hand wash and told me two minutes . Everything aside there was nothing special about their pizza . I wish I would've walked over a few blocks and get a slice from Escape from New York . I will never come back to Bizza . They charged me for a two topping slice and charged me two extra toppings on top of that , tried to give me a one topping slice and that just rubs me the wrong way . read more

The gluten free pizza is ok but is very pricey for its size and what is has. A small was $41 with caviar, the crust seemed to be the same gluten free crust zpizza offers for half the price. Jury's still out on the falafel pizza, it was different but didn't have enough taste. We're going to try some of the other lamb pizzas though, you almost never see lamb on pizza and I love lamb. The Tony's supreme combo (whatever) was okay, the sausage really stood out but I wanted more veggies to balance it out. I do have to compliment the dough, they do pizza dough right. We also loved the homemade bbq wings. Delivery was spot on time too. Okay, today we order more wings to be delivered (a variety of some of the other flavors since we're in a wing sort of mood) at 4:54pm. FYI, we don't drive nor do we have cars so we rely on delivery; we trust that if a place doesn't want to deliver, they won't offer delivery, and if they offer delivery, they will do all they can to get the goods out within the ETA--I know, very naive but you got to believe in something. Anywho, the ETA Grubhub sent us said 30-50 mins which would make delivery at close to 5:45pm (being the generous person I am). I went down all those stairs (there are a lot and the light doesn't always work, take me a while to get there and delivery sometimes leaves before I accomplish the stairs) at 5:30 and waited and waited and waited. By 6:30, I was cold and went back upstairs to find the phone number so I could see what's the delay, or if they aren't going to deliver or what. Just as I was shuffling through the emails, phone rang and said the delivery person was outside. I grabbed the delivery tip (I prefer to use cash so I know the driver gets the money and can spend it right away if needed). These wings had better be outrageously delicious! Wish we had a wing place over here around 9th Ave and Irving somewhere. Why doesn't some enterprising person set that up, offering not only wings but maybe shish kabobs, far more vegs too. read more

I recently ordered several pizzas for my employees, some of who have dietary restrictions and lucky Bizza had both vegan and gluten free options which was great! Everyone loved the pizzas! I was a huge fan of the Don't Be A Chicken, the house made pesto sauce was amazing. We also ordered the Vegan Mozzarella Sticks and the Cheesy Garlic Bread and they were both sooo good. The owner was there when I picked it up, and he was so nice and friendly! Great customer service. Definitely coming back here and looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu! read more
